Chapter 530 Recovering Memories

"I'm really sorry for everything I did to you before, for forgetting you when you were so hopeful."

Sophia didn't think much of it, assuming Alexander was apologizing for the forceful kiss.

She responded to his kiss, opening her mouth.

Both of them felt indescribable emotions.

There was joy, sadness, but most of all, a sense of luck.

Lucky that after everything, they could still be together.

This kiss was bound to be long and passionate.

It made them both lose their senses.

They kissed greedily, over and over.

They didn't know how much time had passed when the door opened, and Elodie walked in, immediately covering her mouth at the sight.

Her eyes were filled with joy after the initial shock.

"Mom, Alexander and Sophia made up!"

Tessa motioned for her to be quiet. Just as she was about to pull her out, Sophia called out, "Mrs. Cross, Elodie."

Elodie ran over and hugged Sophia, excitedly saying, "Sophia, when can I start calling you sister-in-law?"

Sophia blushed, and Alexander teased, "You can start now if you want."

"Really? Sister-in-law!"

Elodie's voice was clear and loud.

It made Sophia's scalp tingle.

She smiled and ruffled Elodie's hair. "Why aren't you at school today?"

"I was worried about Alexander. Sophia, when are you and Alexander getting married? Can I be your bridesmaid? I've never been a bridesmaid before."

Hearing this, Alexander chuckled, "Silly girl, you're my family. How can you be Sophia's bridesmaid? But I can take you with me to marry her."

"Great! Mom, let's set a date quickly. I can't wait."

Tessa was already grinning from ear to ear, holding Sophia's hand. "Sophia, you've had a tough time these days. Luckily, even though Alexander lost his memory, he still loves you. Otherwise, I would have lost such a good daughter-in-law."

Alexander grinned mischievously, "Mom, Cupid already shot our hearts together. I couldn't not marry her even if I wanted to."

Sophia gave him a sidelong glance. "So you're marrying me not because you want to, but because fate forced you?"

"Sweetheart, it's called destiny. No matter who I am or where you go, I'll always bring you back home."

Tessa immediately took out her phone. "I'll call your mom right now to discuss the wedding date."

Sophia was stunned. "Isn't this a bit too fast?"

"Not at all. We've been waiting for this day."

Alexander looked at Tessa. "Mom, the wedding has to be a month from now. Otherwise, my injuries won't be healed, and how can I get married?"

Sophia blushed at his words.

She glared at him. "There are kids here. What nonsense are you talking about?"

Elodie laughed. "Sophia, I'm eighteen now, an adult. I understand everything. Don't treat me like a little fool."

Alexander waved her over. "Little fool, draw a wedding portrait of me and Sophia. I want to use it on the invitations."

"Sure, I'll draw it when I get home. You'll love it."

Half a month later, Alexander was discharged from the hospital.

Sophia walked into the room with a stack of papers. "I've finished the paperwork. These are the medications the doctor prescribed. Don't forget to take them."

She stuffed the medicine into her bag and started packing Alexander's things.

Alexander was on the balcony making a call. When he saw her, he hung up immediately and walked over to hug her from behind.

He kissed the back of her neck. "You've had a tough time. Let's not go home right away. I want to take you somewhere special."

Sophia was surprised. "Didn't we agree to have a family gathering? It wouldn't be right to leave."

Alexander kissed her lips. "You're so considerate, even before we're married. You're so good, I can hardly control myself."

He cupped her face and kissed her deeply.

Sophia pointed to the ceiling. "The camera. Do you want the doctors to see this?"

"Let them see. It's not the first time."

With that, Alexander deepened the kiss, taking her breath away.

Despite his recent recovery, he seemed full of energy.

He was like a man on fire.

His skin was hot, his blood surged.

His breath was erratic, and his heart raced.

After a long time, Alexander finally let go.

He planted soft kisses on Sophia's face, his voice thick with desire.

"Sophie, I'm fully recovered."

Sophia nodded. "I know. All your tests came back fine. And then?"

Alexander whispered in her ear, his lips brushing her earlobe. "Then I want to make love to you."

His words reignited the passion in Sophia.

She looked at him, gently tracing his handsome features, her lips curving into a smile. "Too bad for you, I'm on my period."

Alexander looked at her in disbelief. "Why is it early this month? You're usually at the end of the month."

Sophia had just been teasing him, but his words made her think.

Alexander had lost his memory, hadn't he?

How did he remember her cycle?

Sophia's mind raced through the past few days.

Since losing his memory, Alexander had called her Sophia. But after the accident, he started calling her Sophie.

And he had been smiling mischievously, just like before.

At first, Sophia thought it was just his nature, something that came out even without his memory.

But now, she realized she had been too naive.

Sophia's dark eyes fixed on Alexander. "Did you get your memory back?"

Alexander smiled and nodded. "Yes, I regained my memory during the accident. Otherwise, I wouldn't have avoided my heart so precisely."

"Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"Because I was afraid you'd reject me. After all, I hurt you so many times before. Sophie, whether it's the current Alexander or the past Alexander, they both only have eyes for Sophia. There's no one else in my heart. Sophie, I love you now, deeply and truly."

Hearing this, Sophia's eyes filled with tears. She leaned into his chest, her voice choked. "Alexander, you're so silly. I want all of you, not just parts of you. No matter what happened before, those are our precious memories, aren't they?"

Alexander smiled with relief. "Sophie, you're so wonderful. I want to take you to bed right now and make love to you a hundred times. I've been holding back for so long."

His words brought back the old, carefree, and passionate Alexander.

Sophia couldn't help but laugh. "Really? I'll send you some adult movies. Take care of it yourself."

"Who needs that when they have a wife?"

"There's a saying, 'If you want something done right, do it yourself,' Mr. Cross. Don't you know that?"

They laughed and joked as they got into the car.

It wasn't until they had driven far that Sophia realized they weren't heading home.

She looked at Alexander in surprise. "Where are we going?"

Alexander ruffled her hair. "Guess. If you get it right, I'll reward you with a box of condoms tonight."
