Chapter 619 Wilhelmina is Great

Before Wilhelmina could react, Theodore kissed her passionately.

In the large mirror of the fitting room, a heated scene unfolded.

A woman in a white wedding dress stood in front of the mirror, watching helplessly as the man made love to her with wild abandon.

Wilhelmina had never felt so ashamed.

Her pretty face was burning hot.

When it was all over, she angrily bit Theodore's shoulder.

Her eyes were red as she glared at him. "Theodore, you went too far."

Theodore felt the pain but only furrowed his brow slightly, letting out a low, hoarse laugh.

"Wilhelmina, you were so beautiful just now."

Wilhelmina kicked him. "Don't talk to me. I don't want to deal with you."

She changed back into her clothes and walked out.

Downstairs, the staff bowed deeply to her and said in unison, "Mrs. Vale, would you like us to pack this wedding dress for you?"

The image from earlier flashed through Wilhelmina's mind.

She was about to say no.

But Theodore's voice interrupted, "Clean it up and send it to our home."

"Yes, Mr. Vale."

Theodore walked over to Wilhelmina and said, "I was just discussing the store's operations with Mrs. Vale upstairs. We found some areas that need improvement. Listen to Mrs. Vale's suggestions on how to make changes."

Wilhelmina was stunned. "What?"

When did this man become so cunning?

They hadn't discussed any work; he had been bullying her the whole time.

If you count any discussion, it was purely physical.

Wilhelmina glared at Theodore's gentle face and gritted her teeth.

But with several employees watching, she couldn't tell the truth.

She glanced around the store and said calmly, "Vintage elements are trending this year. These wedding dresses and gowns with vintage touches can be displayed in the window.

With more young people choosing not to marry, if we only focus on wedding dresses, we will be phased out by society in the near future.

So we should offer custom gown services, especially trendy gowns with traditional elements, which should be popular in the coming years.

I'll discuss a specific plan with a few designers later."

Hearing this, not only were the employees surprised, but even Theodore looked at her with a smile.

He had just given her a challenge to test her adaptability.

He hadn't expected her to come up with so much without any preparation.

It showed she hadn't abandoned her design work in private.

Theodore smiled and brushed Wilhelmina's hair, his voice gentle. "Mrs. Vale, you're amazing. We'll follow your lead. The designers are attending fashion shows abroad. When they return, they'll meet with you."

Wilhelmina nodded. "I've been keeping an eye on Fashion Week. I'll summarize the experiences and shortcomings and come up with a plan to prepare for the Fashion Week in three months."

Leaving the bridal shop, Theodore held Wilhelmina's hand, his lips curving into a wide smile.

"Women truly grow under the nourishment of love. Mrs. Vale, you were fantastic just now. I'll reward you well at home."

Wilhelmina glared at him. "Theodore, were you trying to embarrass me earlier? You caught me off guard with such a big challenge. If I hadn't been following fashion design, I would have been humiliated today."

Theodore kissed her lips with a smile. "I just wanted to see how you'd handle it. You really surprised me, Mrs. Vale. You've got a bright future ahead."

"Don't think I'll forgive you that easily. Starting today, you can't touch me for a week."

"Come on, babe, don't do the whole abstinence thing. Don't punish me like that. I'll be more careful next time, promise."

They were standing by the car, bickering, when the assistant arrived with Kaia.

Kaia was holding a bucket of popcorn, her eyes sparkling as she looked at them.

"Daddy, Mommy, are you done with work?"

Theodore bent down to pick her up, kissed her little face, and said with a smile, "We're done, but Mommy seems to be mad at me."

Kaia blinked her big eyes and asked, "Why is Mommy mad?"

"Because Daddy gave her more work and made her tired. Sweetheart, help Daddy cheer up Mommy, okay?"

Kaia nodded obediently.

She pinched a piece of popcorn with her chubby hand and held it to Wilhelmina's lips, grinning. "Mommy, eat a piece of popcorn. This isn't ordinary popcorn. It has magical powers. If you eat it, you'll be full of energy."

Watching Kaia's little mouth babble, Wilhelmina couldn't refuse.

She opened her mouth and took the popcorn.

Kaia watched her reaction seriously, tilting her head. "Mommy, do you feel the magical power?"

Wilhelmina shook her head honestly. "No."

Kaia immediately hugged Theodore's neck, her bright eyes flashing as she looked at him.

"Daddy, the magical power needs both of us to work."

She kissed Wilhelmina's cheek.

Theodore obediently kissed Wilhelmina's cheek too.

He whispered in her ear, "Darling, I was wrong. I'll be more careful next time, okay? Give me some face; Kaia is watching us."

Wilhelmina glared at him. "You better remember your words."

Theodore nodded with a smile. "I'll listen to you from now on. Wherever you say, I'll be there. Is that okay?"

"Theodore, don't talk nonsense in front of the child."

"She doesn't understand our code. Alright, I'll take you both out for a feast. How about that?"

Kaia's eyes lit up instantly, clapping her little hands. "Yes, yes! Paxon said cheese soufflé is delicious. I haven't tried it yet."

Theodore pinched her little nose with a smile. "Today, Daddy will take you to eat it. From now on, Daddy will let you taste all the delicious food across the country. How about that?"

"Yes, Daddy, I love you so much."

Hearing Kaia's sweet words, Theodore felt his life was complete.

He had spent the past thirty years working hard, only to realize all his efforts were for this moment.

Only by finding the one he loved could he understand the beauty of life.

He used to think Sebastian was exaggerating, but now that he was enjoying this happiness, he knew life could be so meaningful.

It had been less than two days since he discovered Kaia was his daughter.

He was already immersed in this happiness, unable to extricate himself.

If he had more children like Sebastian, how lively would this home be?

Thinking about this, Theodore's lips curved into a beautiful smile.

He held Kaia in his arms, his other hand around Wilhelmina, and walked into the French-style restaurant.

As soon as they entered, they saw someone they shouldn't have seen.

Phoenix.
