Chapter 523 Had Children

As Bianca turned to leave, Edgar quickly caught up to her and grabbed her wrist.

Tears streamed down his face as he looked at her. "Bianca, what do I have to do for you to forgive me?"

Bianca's eyes were cold as she looked at him. "Give me back my child, and I might consider it."

Edgar was stunned by her words.

He stared at Bianca in shock for a long moment before he finally spoke. "What child? Bianca, whose child are you talking about?"

Bianca's gaze was icy. "Do you think I would care so much if it were someone else's child? Edgar, do you know why I hate you so much? The day you decided to break up with me was the same day I found out I was pregnant.

I was so excited to tell you the good news, but before I could say anything, you told me you wanted to break up.

I asked you what you would do if I were pregnant, and you said you didn't want the child.

So, I had an abortion. But all these years, I've been haunted by dreams of that child, crying and asking me why I abandoned him, why I was so heartless. He was only two months old when his life ended.

Do you know how much pain I've been in, waking up alone in the middle of the night?

He was my flesh and blood, and I gave him up. You can never understand that kind of pain."

Bianca's tightly controlled emotions finally broke as she spoke about the child.

Tears slowly rolled down her cheeks.

Every time she saw Paxon, she couldn't help but think of her own child.

If he were still here, he would be a caring and responsible older brother or sister.

Seeing the usually proud Bianca crying like a child, Edgar felt his heart shatter.

He had never realized that his decision had not only destroyed Bianca but also cost them their child.

Now, despite his success, he had lost the person he loved most and their child.

Was this really the outcome he wanted?

Edgar's hand trembled as he held Bianca's, his voice hoarse and broken.

Tears fell onto Bianca's hand.

"Bianca, I'm sorry. I was wrong. I didn't know you were pregnant. If I had known, I wouldn't have broken up with you."

Bianca laughed coldly. "But I asked you, and you said even if there was a child, you wouldn't want it. Edgar, you gave up on our child yourself."

"I thought you wouldn't get pregnant. I was just talking. If I had known you were pregnant, I wouldn't have broken up with you."

"Would you really? You always wanted to prove yourself. If you had a child with your sugar daddy before your career even started, do you think you would have achieved what you have today?"

Edgar looked deeply into Bianca's eyes. "So, you gave up the child for me. You could have raised him, but you sacrificed him for my sake. Am I right?"

"Does it even matter anymore? The important thing is the child is gone, and our relationship ended that day. I don't want to see you again or talk about this. We both have our own lives now. Let's just move on."

"No, I want you. I only realized after losing you that no amount of awards can make me as happy as being with you. Bianca, only with you do I feel alive. Please, let me stay by your side."

Edgar held Bianca tightly, refusing to let go.

He knew that if he let go, they would be over for good.

Before, he didn't know about the child, and he thought he still had a chance.

But now, knowing that Bianca had aborted their child, he felt their chances of reconciliation were almost zero.

He felt cold all over, as if his heart had been stabbed repeatedly.

The pain was unbearable.

Bianca composed herself and said coldly, "Edgar, if you don't let go, I'll have someone throw you out."

Edgar held her even tighter, his voice choked with emotion. "Then let them throw me out. Without you, I don't want anything."

"Edgar, it's been five years. Can't you grow up? Not everything can be fixed by holding on. Even if you hold on forever, you won't win my heart. Don't you understand?"

Bianca forcefully pulled away from his embrace.

She quickly walked to the door.

As she opened it, she saw Paxon standing there.

Paxon blinked his big eyes and stammered, "Aunt Bianca, why are you out here?"

Bianca composed herself and said, "I designed the doors in this house. I know how to open them."

Paxon noticed her upset expression and that she had been crying.

He immediately hugged her leg and said softly, "Aunt Bianca, I just wanted to find you a husband. I saw that Edgar likes you, so I locked you two together. Please don't be mad at me."

Bianca bent down and ruffled his hair, her voice hoarse. "I'm not mad at you. Just don't do it again. Edgar and I are over. We can never be together again, understand?"

Paxon looked at her, not fully understanding. "He likes you. Why can't you be together?"

Bianca smiled faintly. "You'll understand when you grow up. Sometimes, liking someone isn't enough. Some things, once missed, can never be regained, like time. So, Paxon, if you find someone you like in the future, hold on to them. Don't let them go, or you might lose them forever."

Paxon nodded earnestly. "Okay, I'm waiting for my godmother to give me a wife. I'll treat her well and love her forever."

"Alright, I'm going to change. You take him to the party."

With that, she turned and walked upstairs.

Paxon watched her disappear and then ran inside on his short legs.

He saw Edgar crouched on the floor, looking pale.

He walked over and asked, "Edgar, Aunt Bianca is a good person. Did you hurt her before? Otherwise, she wouldn't treat you like this."

Edgar nodded numbly. "I hurt her deeply. She might never forgive me."

Paxon handed him some tissues. "Don't cry. My dad says nothing is impossible if you try hard enough. If you work hard, you can achieve anything. Come on, Sophia was looking for you. She's worried about you."

Edgar wiped his face and stood up.

He picked Paxon up and kissed his cheek. "Thank you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have known how deeply I hurt her. What do you want? I'll buy it for you."

Paxon hugged his neck. "I want you to be my uncle. Can you do that?"

Edgar smiled bitterly. "But Bianca doesn't want me anymore."

"Then you have to work hard to win her back. I heard Aunt Bianca telling Grandma that someone is helping her find a husband. If she marries someone else, you'll never have a chance."
