Edgar smiled and kissed Bianca's lips. "How are you still so smart?"

He gently caressed Bianca's belly, feeling the happiness brought by the little life inside.

Bianca's anxious voice came through. "Edgar, save me."

"I went out today without guards and got kidnapped. Hurry and save me, I..."
Before she could finish, the phone was snatched away.

Edgar quickly got into his car and sped off.

He immediately stood up and said, "Since Smith has something to deal with, we'll postpone today's authorization ceremony and make it up to him later."
After speaking, he left and called Smith.
"Don't kill Edgar. He can be a tool to control Bianca."
Smith's lips curled in satisfaction. "I know. I want him to watch me play with his woman and hear his child call me daddy."
In less than twenty minutes, Edgar arrived at the designated location, a cliffside.
Bianca was tied up with explosives, her face showing signs of being beaten.
Seeing Edgar, Bianca immediately shook her head and cried, "Don't come closer."
Edgar's eyes turned red as he glared at Smith. "Let her go, or I'll make sure you die a horrible death!"
Smith laughed maniacally. "Haha, I'm so scared. I want to see how you'll make me die a horrible death."
He raised a knife, aiming to slash Bianca's face.
Edgar moved swiftly, grabbing Smith's wrist.
Just as he was about to punch Smith, Smith's other hand came forward, holding a gleaming dagger.
Edgar tried to dodge, but was too late.
The dagger plunged into his chest.
Bright red blood gushed out, staining his white shirt.
Seeing this, Bianca screamed in terror. "Don't kill him, please!"
Smith, like a madman, looked at the blood on the ground, his face twisted. "You think you can replace me? You're overestimating yourself. From now on, the queen is mine. I'm Prince Smith, the father of Bianca's child. I'll make you watch me sleep with your woman and hear your child call me daddy. Hahaha."
Edgar lay on the ground, clutching his chest, eyes full of hatred. "You kidnapped the queen; you deserve to die. Attempting to assassinate the prince and replace him, you'll face the harshest punishment. Snowpeakia's laws won't spare you."
"Ha, you're dying and still talking about laws. Let me show you if the law is stronger than my methods."
He raised the knife again, aiming for Edgar's stomach.
This time, the position was precise. If he stabbed, Edgar would surely die.
At the critical moment, a gunshot rang out.
A bullet hit Smith's head, and he fell to the ground.
A group of special forces rushed over, saluting Bianca. "Your Majesty, you're safe now."
Bianca shook her head, ignoring the explosives on her body, and rushed to Edgar's side.
Seeing the blood on the ground, tears streamed down her face. "Edgar, you can't die. Our child hasn't born yet. I don't want her to grow up without a father."
