Chapter 581 Bianca is Pregnant
Seeing that Bianca wasn't feeling well, Edgar immediately got worried. "Bianca, what's up?"
Bianca's eyes were red as she shook her head. "It's nothing, probably just ate too much ice cream lately. Feeling a bit nauseous."
Edgar gently brushed her hair with concern. "Looks like you don't behave when I'm not home. I'll have to keep a closer eye on you from now on."
He wrapped his arm around Bianca and led her to the dining room, pulling out a chair for her to sit.
Sarah had prepared a feast, filled with Bianca's favorite dishes.
She brought out a plate of spicy crawfish, smiling. "Ms. Winters, it's the perfect season for crawfish. Give it a try and see if it still tastes the same."
Bianca was about to put on gloves to dig in, but the smell hit her, and she started gagging again.
This time it was worse. She quickly got up and ran to the bathroom.
Edgar followed closely behind.
Bianca clung to the toilet, throwing up everything in her stomach.
Her eyes were bloodshot.
Edgar gently rubbed her back, saying, "I'm calling the doctor. You've had food poisoning before, but it's never been this bad."
Bianca's vision was darkening, and she felt weak all over.
Held in Edgar's arms, her voice was hoarse. "Edgar, I missed my period last month."
Hearing this, Edgar's eyes widened.
Bianca's periods were always on time.
If it hadn't come yet, it was already ten days late.
Edgar's face lit up with excitement. "Bianca, could we be having a baby?"
Sarah was equally excited. "Ms. Winters, this really sounds like morning sickness. Her period has never been this late. We should call the doctor to check."
Seeing them both so excited, Bianca smiled. "Don't get your hopes up too high. What if I'm not pregnant?"
Edgar couldn't contain his emotions.
He and Bianca had just reconciled, and if they were having a baby, it would be the perfect symbol of their love.
He turned to Sarah. "Sarah, go buy a pregnancy test. Keep it quiet."
Sarah smiled. "I'll go right away."
A few minutes later, Sarah returned with a pregnancy test.
She handed it to Bianca. "Ms. Winters, this is the best brand, 99% accurate. Go ahead and test."
Edgar took the test and led Bianca to the bathroom.
A few minutes later, when they saw the two clear red lines on the test, Edgar lifted Bianca in excitement, showering her face with kisses.
"Honey, we're really having a baby. I'm going to be a dad."
His voice trembled with excitement.
This was their child, and the baby's arrival would help heal Bianca's emotional wounds.
With this child, their bond could grow even stronger.
Bianca's eyes were red, staring at the test, unable to look away.
Memories of her first pregnancy flooded her mind, and her eyes welled up with tears.
She slowly looked up at Edgar, her voice filled with emotion. "Edgar, our baby will be born safely this time, right?"
Hearing her words, Edgar kissed her lips tenderly.
His eyes locked onto hers. "Bianca, I made you lose our first child. I promise it won't happen again. I'll take good care of both of you, waiting for this little life to arrive."
Having another child with Edgar filled Bianca with both sweetness and sorrow.
After five years apart, they were together again, and now they had a child. This happiness brought tears to Bianca's eyes.
Seeing her cry so hard, Edgar's heart ached.
He didn't need to guess how much pain Bianca had endured alone over the years because of their lost child.
He gently stroked her head, soothing her softly. "Don't cry, sweetheart. Crying too much isn't good for the baby. If you're still angry with me, hit me hard. Don't bottle up your emotions. It hurts me to see you like this."
For the first time in years, Bianca cried so freely.
And for the first time, she cried for so long.
She had always hidden her wounds well, never letting anyone see.
Bianca always showed her best side to everyone, licking her wounds in solitude.
This lonely and painful feeling had accompanied her for five years.
She once thought she might live like this forever.
Bianca couldn't forget the deep love of the past, nor Edgar's coldness.
But she never imagined that after five years, they could come together again.
And have a child of their own.
Some say time heals all wounds.
But five years hadn't healed her wounds. The only thing that could heal her was the man she loved deeply.
Reflecting on this, Bianca felt both sad and grateful.
She looked at Edgar with tearful eyes. "Edgar, we both need to be well, waiting for our baby to be born."
Edgar's eyes were moist as he kissed her forehead, his voice hoarse. "I promise, we'll be well, waiting for the baby to arrive."
He gently wiped her tears, his voice tender. "The situation is still unstable. Let's keep your pregnancy a secret for now. I'm worried someone might have ill intentions."
"I understand. Don't worry, I'll be careful."
Neither of them ate much. Edgar was too excited, and Bianca had no appetite.
Back in their room, Bianca immediately called her mother, Elise.
Hearing the good news, Elise cried with joy.
Her most worried child was finally on the right path.
Not only had she moved past the dark times, but she also found the man she loved and had a child with him.
Elise wiped her tears. "Bianca, I'm so happy. I'm going to the family museum right now to tell our ancestors the good news and ask them to bless the baby."
Hearing this, Paxon, who was packing, blinked his big eyes.
His bright eyes looked at Elise.
His eyes darted around, and then he ran over with his short legs. "Grandma, does Aunt Bianca have a baby?"
Elise smiled, brushing his hair. "Yes, you're going to have another little brother or sister."
Paxon clapped his hands excitedly. "That's awesome! My team is getting bigger. Another person to call me big brother. I have to tell Mom and Dad."
He immediately ran out with his short legs, shouting, "Mom, Dad, great news! Absolutely amazing news!"
