Chapter 594 Kaia's Wish
After speaking, he reached out his greasy hand towards Paxon.
Terrified, Paxon turned and ran, shouting, "Help! Someone's trying to get me!"
Seeing the two of them having so much fun, Kaia's bright eyes showed a hint of envy.
She envied Paxon so much, being able to play around with Theodore like that.
She also wanted to play with Theodore, but her mom had told her that he was a guest and they needed to be polite to guests.

Theodore looked down at Kaia.
The little girl's bright eyes blinked up at him, filled with a longing for affection.
Her eyes did indeed resemble his, though her nose and mouth were just like Wilhelmina's.
If Wilhelmina hadn't gone back to her hometown that night...

Theodore looked at her flushed cheeks, tapped her head lightly, and laughed, "I'm not a kid. Do you think I can't tell the difference between truth and lies? But you, why are you so nervous? Anyone would think you have something to hide from me."
"I don't," Wilhelmina quickly explained, fearing Theodore might get suspicious about Kaia's background.
Theodore frowned at her, "If you don't, then you don't. Why are you blushing? Get to work; those two must be hungry."
An hour later, the food was ready.
Looking at the table full of dishes, Paxon stood up from his chair, holding his cup. "Let's have a toast. Here's to Uncle finding a girl he likes soon, and to Wilhelmina finding a dad for Kaia soon. Cheers!"
Theodore pinched his cheek with a smile, "Here's to our two little friends growing up healthy and happy, and to a great partnership between Wilhelmina and me."
Hearing this, Paxon blinked his big eyes, as if trying to figure something out.
Then he looked at Theodore and asked, "Is Wilhelmina going to work for you, Uncle?"
"Yes, today's meal is Wilhelmina's treat to thank me for helping her find a job. You're just tagging along for the free food."
Paxon immediately beamed, clinking his cup with Wilhelmina's, "Wilhelmina, my uncle is in your hands now. He's single and likes to go to bars. You have to keep an eye on him for me, or I'll have to take care of him when he's old and sick."
Hearing such adorable words, Wilhelmina couldn't help but pinch Paxon's cheek, "Alright, I'll definitely complete this mission."
Theodore playfully swatted his little butt, "Who said I'd let you take care of me? Just because I don't have kids now doesn't mean I won't in the future. Maybe one day I'll have a daughter just like Kaia."
Kaia, who was eating, widened her eyes at this.
Her bright eyes stared at Theodore without blinking.
She wished so much that he could be her dad.
He spoke so gently and liked kids so much.
Why couldn't such a good man be her dad?
Thinking about this, Kaia's eyes suddenly filled with tears.
Big teardrops wobbled in her eyes, looking pitiful and aggrieved.
Seeing this, Theodore immediately asked with concern, "What's wrong, Kaia? Did we say something you didn't like?"

"Okay, then I can be with Paxon every day."
The four of them had a great time eating together, almost finishing all the food.
It wasn't until Sebastian called that Theodore took Paxon home.
Seeing Paxon so excited, Sebastian picked him up with a smile and kissed him, "Did you have fun today?"
Paxon nodded enthusiastically, "Yes, I had a lot of fun. I helped Uncle find a girlfriend, but he's so clueless. Now I know why he's single."
Sebastian chuckled, "Then let him stay single. We don't need to worry about him. Your aunt is video chatting with your mom and was just asking for you."
Hearing that Bianca was looking for him, Paxon clapped his hands, "I want to video chat with Auntie. Dad, hurry upstairs."
Having not seen him all day, Sebastian missed him a lot. He hadn't expected Paxon to adapt to kindergarten life so quickly.
Meanwhile, he was still adjusting, always feeling like something was missing at home.
He carried Paxon upstairs.
Joyce was explaining pregnancy matters to Bianca. Seeing Paxon come in, she immediately waved him over.
"Paxon, Auntie missed you. Come here."
Paxon climbed onto the bed, lying in Joyce's arms, and looked at Bianca on the phone, grinning, "Auntie, I missed you too. How are you feeling? Is it a girl?"
Bianca laughed and asked, "How do you know it's a girl?"
"I guessed! Auntie, you have to believe me. Kids are always right."
"Alright, I hope you're right. But I hope it's twins."
Bianca chatted with Paxon for a long time, feeling her heart melt from his cuteness and innocence.
After hanging up, she gently stroked her belly, her face full of happiness.
"Baby, will you be as cute as Paxon? Mommy can't wait."
Just then, Edgar walked in, looking travel-worn.
Bianca was surprised to see him, "Weren't you on a business trip? Why are you back?"
Edgar walked to the bedside, his eyes full of worry, "Smith woke up."
