Chapter 518 Tonifying the Kidneys

Sophia's cheeks flushed with embarrassment. She knew exactly what place Alexander was hinting at.

Furious, she bit Alexander's neck and glared at him fiercely. "Say one more stupid thing, and I'll bite your throat off."

Seeing that Sophia was genuinely angry, Alexander decided to back off.

He gently brushed her cheek with a smile, his eyes soft as he looked at her. "Alright, I won't say anything else. Can I kiss you now?"

Sophia's heart skipped a beat as she looked into Alexander's captivating eyes. Those eyes, like a fox's, always made her heart race uncontrollably.

She quickly averted her gaze and pressed her face close to Alexander's lips, urging him, "Hurry up and kiss me, then get out of here. My mom will be up here any minute."

Alexander looked at her face so close to his lips and gave it a gentle pinch.

Then, without warning, he grabbed her chin and kissed her deeply.

Sophia's eyes widened in shock.

She pounded Alexander's chest with her fists.

But the more she hit him, the more forceful Alexander became.

Finally, he pinned her hands with one of his, while the other held her chin, kissing her tenderly yet passionately.

At first, Sophia struggled, but she couldn't resist Alexander's gentle yet intense advances.

Soon, she was lost in the kiss.

A soft moan escaped her throat.

This sound made Alexander, who was already struggling to control himself, lose all restraint.

Just as their kiss reached its peak, there was a sudden knock on the door.

Felicia's gentle voice came from outside, "Sophia, are you up? Come down for breakfast."

Hearing her mother's voice, Sophia pushed Alexander away in a panic.

Her eyes were filled with alarm, overshadowing any lingering desire.

She pointed towards the window and said, "You promised me, one kiss and then out the window."

Alexander kissed her lips again, smiling. "But I can't leave now. Grandpa is exercising in the garden. If he sees me climbing out the window, this will be a done deal."

Sophia quickly got out of bed and ran to the window to look down.

Sure enough, she saw Gilbert exercising right below her balcony.

Seeing Sophia, Gilbert cheerfully called out, "Good morning, my dear granddaughter! Did you sleep well last night?"

Sophia forced a smile. "Good morning, Grandpa. I slept well."

She turned to Alexander, who was still sitting on the bed, and said, "There's no time. Hide in the closet. You can leave after my parents go to work."

Without waiting for Alexander to respond, she dragged him towards the closet.

Alexander protested, "I have claustrophobia. If you put me in there, I'll freak out."

Ignoring his protests, Sophia opened the closet door and shoved him inside with a kick.

"You have claustrophobia? Since when? Alexander, you better behave, or you'll regret it."

With that, she closed the closet door and ran to open the room door.

Felicia peeked into the room with a smile. "Why are you taking so long? Are you hiding someone in here?"

Sophia quickly replied, "No, of course not. I'm just really tired and didn't want to get up."

"Really? The butler said Alexander came over last night and carried you in. He said he didn't see him leave."

Sophia forced another smile. "That's impossible. The butler must have been mistaken. I went out to walk the dog and had a scare. Alexander just brought me back and left. You go ahead, I'll wash up and come down soon."

Felicia looked a bit disappointed. "Oh, I thought Alexander was still here. I even made his favorite bread. I'll take it to him then. Edgar is here too."

As Felicia turned to leave, a sneeze came from the closet.

Sophia's body stiffened in fear.

Just as she was about to explain, the closet door opened.

Alexander emerged, looking apologetic. "Sophia, I'm sorry. The perfume in your closet is too strong. I'm a bit allergic."

Sophia gritted her teeth in anger.

How could he be allergic? He used to say he loved that scent.

Felicia looked between Alexander and Sophia, her eyes filled with barely contained excitement.

"Did you two sleep together last night?"

Sophia was about to explain when Alexander stepped forward.

He smiled and said, "Don't worry. Sophia was scared last night, so I just stayed with her. We didn't do anything, really."

As he spoke, he unbuttoned his shirt collar, revealing the bite mark Sophia had left that morning.

Seeing this, Felicia smiled knowingly.

In her mind, she thought, "Just talking under the covers? Yeah, right!"

Felicia dragged out her words, "Oh, I see. Well, thank you for taking care of her. Come down for breakfast soon."

"Sure, thank you."

Felicia waved her hand. "No need to thank me."

She then walked away with small, quick steps.

Downstairs, she saw Gordon watching the news and rushed over. "Gordon, I have some explosive news for you."

Gordon looked up. "What has you so excited? Is it about Sophia?"

Felicia leaned in and whispered, "Alexander stayed in Sophia's room last night. You might be a grandpa soon."

Gordon's eyes widened, then he burst out laughing.

"That's really explosive news. Those two are finally getting together."

Meanwhile, upstairs.

Sophia grabbed Alexander by the collar and hissed, "Alexander, you jerk! You did that on purpose to make my mom misunderstand."

Alexander immediately pleaded, "I really didn't. I didn't even know you bit me there."

"Then why did you unbutton your shirt? I bet you put that photo there to scare me."

"Don't say that. I care about you too much to scare you. Let's not fight anymore. If we don't go down soon, they'll start gossiping about us."

Sophia let go of his collar, her voice cold. "You better behave."

"Okay, I'll listen to you. Don't be mad, alright?"

Alexander hugged Sophia, gently rubbing his chin against her.

Sophia quickly ran into the bathroom.

When they finally came downstairs, the family members all had strange expressions.

Especially Gordon, who pulled Alexander to the table and handed him a bowl of soup, whispering, "Alexander, drink this. It's great for your kidneys."
