Chapter 515 Clear Distinction Between Host and Guest
Sophia was caught off guard by the intense sensation.
She never expected Alexander to be such a jerk and push his luck.
Fuming, Sophia pounded on Alexander's back. "Alexander, are you out of your mind? We still have scenes to shoot. What if you leave a mark?"
Hearing this, a hint of joy flashed in Alexander's eyes.
Sophia wasn't upset about him biting her; she was worried about the marks affecting the shoot.
Alexander slowly released her, his eyes filled with undeniable desire. "How about I just kiss you without leaving any marks?"
Seeing the seductive smile in his deep eyes, Sophia's heart couldn't help but flutter.
She admitted, this jerk had indeed managed to seduce her just now.
That kiss and bite had sent shivers down her spine.
Sophia quickly composed herself and said sternly, "Stop messing around. Wait over there; I still have scenes to shoot."
She pushed Alexander onto a nearby chair.
Then Sophia turned to Edgar and said, "Edgar, there's just one last scene. Can you hold on?"
Edgar looked at Alexander with a mischievous grin. "Since Mr. Cross promised to give me a massage tonight, I'll hold on even if it kills me."
He then took Sophia's hand, his eyes full of affection. "Let's go, my love. We have a bedroom scene to shoot."
Hearing this, Alexander suddenly couldn't sit still and immediately stood up from the chair.
He asked coldly, "What scene are you shooting?"
Edgar turned back to him. "A bedroom scene, of course. It's our wedding night."
Alexander gritted his teeth in anger. "I want to watch."
Sophia immediately glared at him. "You're not allowed to come over. If you dare, I'll never let you into my house again."
She knew Alexander's temper.
The last time he saw her and Edgar shooting a kissing scene, he almost beat someone up.
If he saw a bedroom scene, Alexander would go crazy.
Even though many shots were just camera tricks, Alexander was naturally jealous.
Sophia didn't want their relationship, which had just started to improve, to suffer any more cracks.
Alexander was so scared by Sophia's words that he immediately sat back down.
He nodded obediently. "Okay, I'll wait for you."
An hour of waiting felt like an eternity for Alexander, as if he were sitting on pins and needles.
He kept wanting to go over and take a look, but Sophia's words held him back.
Finally, Sophia walked out from the set.
Alexander rushed over and hugged her tightly.
His voice was filled with Todd's grievance. "Sophia, I listened to you. I didn't go over."
Sophia patted Alexander's back and said, "You're being sensible. Let's go home."
Alexander immediately let go of Sophia, took her hand, and led her outside.
He completely ignored Edgar behind them.
The three of them drove to the Sinclair Villa.
Alexander, taking the lead, found a pair of slippers for Edgar and said politely, "Sorry, for everyone's safety, we only provide disposable slippers for guests. Hope you don't mind."
Edgar glanced at the blue slippers on Alexander's feet and asked, "Why do you get the fancy ones?"
Alexander smirked. "Isn't it obvious? I'm the host, and you're the guest."
Edgar nodded knowingly. "Got it. Then go fetch the guest a glass of water. I want it at exactly 158 degrees Fahrenheit."
Alexander gritted his teeth. "Why don't you ask for 212 degrees Fahrenheit and burn your mouth, so you stop talking and annoying me?"
Seeing Alexander's face turn green with anger, Edgar felt a secret joy.
Who told you to break Sophia's heart? Do you know how much she suffered in those two years?
Edgar didn't show his emotions, politely greeting the Sinclair Family.
Then he went to the study to play chess with Dean.
Alexander came out of the kitchen with a glass of water, walked over to Sophia, and looked at her sincerely.
"Sophia, do you have a thermometer?"
Sophia was surprised. "Are you running a fever?"
"No, Edgar asked for water at 158 degrees Fahrenheit. He's a guest, and I can't refuse his request. I need a thermometer to check the temperature."
Hearing this, Sophia couldn't help but laugh. "He was joking with you. Didn't you catch that?"
Alexander looked at her with grievance. "I know he's making things difficult for me, but I can't ignore it. I can't give him any reason to complain."
His aggrieved look was oddly amusing.
Sophia couldn't help but laugh, popping a cherry into Alexander's mouth. "Just give it to him. He won't say anything."
Alexander looked at her seriously. "Really? If he complains, you have to back me up."
"Don't worry."
Sophia lay on the couch, holding a plate of cherries.
Her mind was filled with Alexander's aggrieved face.
Compared to his previous carefree attitude, Alexander was a bit adorable.
Adorable enough that Sophia couldn't help but want to ruffle his hair.
As she ate the fruit, Sophia thought about her relationship with Alexander over the past few days.
A smile unconsciously spread across her lips.
When Alexander came out, he saw Sophia already asleep.
He bent down and picked her up, heading upstairs.
Sophia, not deeply asleep, slowly opened her eyes as Alexander moved her.
She let out a low, husky sound. "Alexander, where are you taking me?"
Alexander looked down at her and gently coaxed, "Shh, go back to the bedroom and sleep for a while. I'll wake you when dinner's ready."
Sophia, too tired to argue, let him carry her into the bedroom.
Lying on the bed, Alexander tucked her in.
He gently brushed his fingers across Sophia's cheek, his voice low and husky. "Do you want me to tell you a story?"
Sophia chuckled with her eyes closed. "I'm not a child. Why would I need a bedtime story?"
"If you want, you never have to grow up with me."
