New Phase 8
“Boss, you sent for me.”
Mr. Denise Bailey directed his attention to Mr. Phil Anderson and informed.
“Yes. My in-law wants to see you.”
Mr. Phil Anderson looked at him and motioned him to a nearby seat.
“Take your seat.”
“Thank you, Sir.”
“Can you remember me?”
Jude looked at him and nodded in the negative. Now, he was scared because he thought that Mr. Phil Anderson knew one of the people that he had worked for and had come to expose him. Then, he responded with a wavering voice.
“No Sir.”
Phil smiled broadly when he noticed that he was scared, just to make him feel at home.
“We were sitting together at the back seat of the car the day we gave you a ride to the island.”
He smiled faintly and explained
“I am sorry, Sir. I did not recognize the face.”
“I don’t expect you to. So, how are you?”
“I am fine, Sir.”
“I want to appreciate you for helping out during the recording. I like your volunteering spirit.”
“It is my honor, Sir.”
“Good. Would you like to be my son’s instructor on Piano? I can see you are good at it.”
Jude looked at his boss, who was chatting with Mr. Fields and not paying attention to their discussion. Mr. Phil Anderson understood his fear and assured.
“If you give your consent, I will talk to your boss. The job will not affect your present job, as you will only work for a few hours in a week.”
Jude Addy’s face brightened, and he gave an acceptance nod.
“It is all right, Sir. I will be glad to.”
“Thank you for accepting. You have already started. I will inform you of the days we need to bring him over.”
“It is noted, boss.”
“Take, my contact.”
Now, Jude’s phone was embarrassing because of the look, but he brought it out from his work cloth and collected Mr. Phil Anderson’s contact.
“Call me so I can get yours.”
He did that and then he dismissed him.
“Thank you. You may leave.”
“Thank you, Sir.”
Jude Addy, who came to the restaurant in trepidation, walked back to the cinema hall with contentment. Before the end of that day, the Security Officer handed over a brand-new phone to him.
“The boss’s in law said I should give this phone to you. You can call him and appreciate the gesture.”
Jude was overwhelmed. He collected the phone joyously and appreciated the security officer.
“Thank you so much. I will do as you said.”
Sunday Morning – At Sevenoaks
On Saturday, Mr. Louis Bailey returned from Dr. Quain’s apartment after both lunch and dinner relieved. Though, his brother hit him, the joy of seeing him and the display of love towards him overshadowed the slaps. He posted on their family platform that evening.
(Thank you for your visit, big brother. It lightened my day.)
Freya, who thought that Denise embarked on the visit after their recording, commented.
(That is thoughtful of you, Denise, despite your busy schedule. Thank you. Last, born, how are you?)
(I am fine, big sister. How is the family?)
(My family is fine.)
Mean, Julie, and the parents were not left out. They commented accordingly. When Mr. Denise Bailey saw their chats and the accolades given to him on the family platform, he was elated. Then, he remembered his Godfather’s advice and commented.
(Last born, you deserve my visit any time. I hope you are good?)
(I am good, big brother.)
(It is all right. Take good care of yourself.)
(I will, big brother. Thank you.)
Now, he sent a direct message to him and apologized for hitting him.
(I apologize for hitting you. Forgive me, please.)
(That is nothing. You did it out of genuine love for me. Thank you for your brotherly love.)
(Thank you last born for your understanding. Good night.)
(Good night.)
Mr. Denise Bailey was expecting that he would send greetings to his wife, but he did not. Instead of being upset, he was calm about it, while he prayed in his heart for God to give him a wife so that he would be happy with his status as a married man. That was his interpretation of Louis’s behavior.
The Trip To the Airport
After the chat with his family members, he went to bed partly relieved with the understanding that he would soon forget that Olivia ever existed and life would return to normalcy.
He woke up in the morning with a new spirit and prepared to pick his parents from the airport. At 9:00 am he took off to the Heathrow Airport which will take him approximately two hours. He got to the airport and waited at the waiting lounge. After about thirty minutes of waiting, his parent’s flight landed. He was as excited as his parents when they met each other.
“Welcome back, father, welcome back, mom.”

Now, Mrs. Nichole Bailey thought that she was eager to see Louis. If only she knew the burden on her husband’s heart over Louis after she spoke with Dr. Quain a few days ago.
“Good to see you, Louis.”
“Good to see you, mom. Good to see you, father.”
Louis greeted as the excited mother held his hand and his dad fixed his gaze on him as though he was just coming out of a comma.
After all the formalities, he carried their hand luggage including Daniel’s piano to the car, he neatly arranged them in the trunk and joined the parents in the car, and he drove off. Mr. Arthur Bailey, who was more worried with Louis’s wellbeing than his wife requested.
“Louis.”
“Yes, father.”
“What is your schedule like? Your mother had been worried about you, and I would like you to spend some days with us before returning to Sevenoaks.”
Louis, who would not accept to spend a minute at the family home after, taking back vehemently, declined.
“Wow! I would have love to, but my clients are already in the country. I have a meeting with them this evening.”
Nichole looked at her husband and stopped him from pressing further.
“It is alright. We will make out time to come and see you one of these days.”
“Thank you father. You are always welcomed.”
They took off at once and arrived in the Native Home after about one hour thirty minutes’ drive.
“Welcome home, mom, and father.”
Louis announced as he parked at the car park.
“Thank you, Louis.”
His parents responded as they got off, and he took selfies with them before they walked into the house. Then, he off loaded their stuff from the car trunk while the janitor and the security guards took them. He posted the selfies on the family platform and declared while walking to the door.
“Father, mother, I should be on my way. I would rather not keep my clients waiting.”
Then, Mr. Arthur Bailey looked at him, and before he could say a word, he was already out of the house. He walked to the verandah and watched him got into his car and turned on his ignition.
“All right, father. See you later.”
“Be careful, Louis. I will see you soon. Bye.”
He drove off while his father watched him. After he drove out of the Native Home, he breathed freely. Now, Mr. Louis Bailey had reasoned that it was Sunday and his family members were off work and at home. It would not take them long to get to the Native Home once they discovered that their parents were back. So, he decided to leave at once. Meanwhile, Nichole walked to the verandah with the packs of chocolates that she bought for him and discovered that he was off.
“Where is he?”
She asked her husband, who had turned to return to the house.
“He has gone. He needs to meet with his appointment.”
“Oh! So soon?”
They walked back to the house. Just as Mr. Louis Bailey expected, Mr. Denise saw the post on the family platform and alerted his wife.
“Wow! Father and mom are back.”
Olivia, who was relaxing on the couch in the sitting room after they had their lunch, jumped up and asked.
“Really? Can we go over to see them?”
“Why not? Get ready and let us go.”
Now, Denise commented on the platform.
“Welcome back, father and mother. We are on our way.”
They left the house with excitement for different reasons. Olivia was excited because she would have the opportunity to find out the position of her car and appreciate the parents’ in-law. While, Denise was excited because he would have the opportunity to introduce his brother and best man to his wife and welcome his parents back. When they got to the gate of the Native Home, they were surprised to meet Mr. Phil Anderson with his family.
“Wow.”
Olivia exclaimed while Denise honked and Phil honked back too. They drove behind and arrived at their parents’ apartment. Then, Daniel got off the father’s car and ran to his uncle, who was already out of his car.
“Good day, Uncle Phil. Good day, Auntie Freya. Good to see you.”
“Good to see you, Olivia and Denise.”
Mr. Phil Anderson and his wife greeted simultaneously. Denise put Daniel down, and he ran into the house ahead of the team.
