The Sealed Forgiveness 2

“Have a productive day, Hubby.”
“Thank you. Have a restful day, too.”
“Have a fulfilled day, dad.”
The twins who were used to waking up early announced.
“Thank you, children. Have a restful day, too. I will be back early enough to keep you company.”
“All right, dad.”

Afterwards, he left for the office. After two hours, he got a call from his brother. He smiled softly before he picked.
“Hello, last born. What's up?”
“Hello big brother. How is your family?”
“My family is fine. How are you?”
“I am fine. Father informed me that one of the twins is not well, how is he?”
“Yes, but he is fine now.”
“I see. I would have love to come and see them, but…”
“But what, Louis? Are you proud that if you see your niece and nephew on the road, you won't recognize them?”
“I am sorry, big brother. I am just wondering how your wife would feel if she sees me.”
“I have told you over and over again. My wife has forgiven you. You are only being hard on yourself.”
“It is all right. I will give her a call before I visit.”
“That would be nice. It would be nicer if you visit with the lady you wish to settle down with.”
Mr. Louis Bailey pretended not to hear that and simply ended the call.
"Have a pleasant day.'
“I wish you the same.”

Then, his father called to inquire about the sick child. He assured him that there was nothing to worry about.

Mr. Louis Bailey had naturally had two secretaries, and he could not do anything about it. Now, the only lady who was close to him was Miss Cassandra Owen. He was aware that she was a pleasant person based on how she had discharged her duties. He held her in high esteem after she took it upon herself to see that the janitor got back to work. Now, he had lived aromantic and asexuality life since he parted with Lady Olivia and wished to remain like that for the rest of his life. From all indication, his lifestyle seemed odd to the people around him. For that, he had to make some adjustments here and there if he must maintain his sanity. After the call with his brother, he sent for Miss Cassandra Owen, who was frightful whenever she was before him.
“Yes, boss. You sent for me.”
Now, Mr. Louis Bailey saw her frightened eyes and felt like an adult who was about to rape a minor. He dismissed her forthwith to allow him the time to organize himself.
“Yes. Come back after ten minutes.”
“Okay, boss.”

Mr. Arthur Bailey left his wife at home and got to work as usual. He was more interested in the safety of his grandchildren than his wife's stubbornness. That, morning, he got a call from Dr. Eden who inquired of the details of his mail.
“She is incapable of running a school.”
He pointed out,
“You are right. Your grandchildren, may not be the only victim.”
“I think so.”
“No, problem. You will hear from me.”

The Great Woods Academy
Mrs. Elsie Wood got to work that morning, relieved that she had taken care of Mr. Arthur Bailey. She called for a staff meeting with the caregivers. Nevertheless, she was furious with them, and she demanded to know what happened at the twins’ class. At that point, about forty percent of the students and pupils had arrived, and the teachers had received them.
“Mrs. Wood. There is a problem.”
One of the Security Officers announced. Then, she halted her meeting and followed the officer.
“What is the problem, officer?”
“The Task Force on Education is at the gate.”
“Oh! My God.”
Before she could get to the gate, the team members were already in the school premises.
“Good morning Sirs. We can talk things over.”
She pleaded when she identified the head of the team.
“Good morning, Mrs. Wood. Call the parents to come and pick their children and wards. You have thirty minutes to do that.”
The head of the team announced. Meanwhile, they had locked the gate, barring parents and pupils from coming in. Mrs. Elsie Wood did not need to bother giving any parent a call because the grid lock on the road had attracted self-volunteered broadcasters who were oblivious of the cause of the grid lock. They were taking selfies and posting on the internet with different captions which were not related to the cause of the grid lock.
Meanwhile, the media houses that were with the task force had captured the pictures of the locked gate with the seal of the task force boldly pasted on it. The seal had the inscription; SEALED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Now, most parents had gone to work after the school run that morning and had to rush back to the school to pick their children.
'Nichole, has killed me. She should have informed me of her husband's refusal to my plea, and I would have done as he demanded.'
Mrs. Wood mumbled. Then, she listened to Mr. Arthur Bailey’s threat one more time.
(Mrs. Wood, I think I have given you a long rope, but you chose to use it to hang yourself. Now, I am giving you five hours grace to explain what happened to my grandchildren today. Otherwise, consider your school a past tense.)
'I have hung myself with his long rope indeed.'

Now, Mr. Louis was prepared to pass his message to Miss Cassandra Owen, so he sent for her.
'It is not yet ten minutes. Why did he send for me?'
She murmured before she walked to his office.
“You sent for me, boss.”
“Yes. Take your seat.”
Miss Cassandra Owen gave him a searching look before she took her seat. Now, Mr. Louis Bailey looked into her eyes, which were still filled with fear and requested.
“Cassandra, I have a feeling that you have a thing for me. Am I right?”
