Daniel De Pianist
At Mr. Denise Bailey’s Apartment
“Dad, Uncle, welcome back.”
Daniel Anderson shouted when he saw his father and uncle walk in. He rushed to them and gave them hugs one after the other. When Denise disengaged him from the hug, he began to imagine the day his baby would do the same to him when he returned from work. Then, he looked at his pregnant wife and smiled in satisfaction.
“Welcome back, hubby.”

“I promised you that I would be back before noon. Here I am. ”
Mr. Denise Bailey said as he took his seat before his wife.
“Yes. You kept to your words. Welcome back.”
“Thank you.”
Freya welcomed her husband before she broached the news, Mr. Denise Bailey and her husband tried to keep away from her.
“Denise.”
“Yes, big sister.”
“Did you watch the news yesterday? Did you see how karma had caught up with Uncle Stephen?”
“Yes. I saw it. That will teach him how to respect other people’s freedom.”
“I learned that the government gave him some money to give to the indigents, and he kept it for himself.”
Mr. Phil Anderson chipped in to back up their discussion. Then, his wife looked at him and screamed.
“Oh my God. I am just hearing this side of the story. He is such a disgrace.”
Now, Olivia and Daniel were busy with their piano keyboard. She noticed that he was good with the keyboard and familiar with the notes.
“Daniel.”
“Yes, Aunty Olivia.”
“Make any good music for me.”
Now, Daniel smiled and adjusted his siting position, and placed his keyboard on his laps. Likewise, he began to play the Twinkle, Twinkle Little Stars, which was one of the basic music for every piano beginner. The music attracted his parents’ and uncle’s attention, who stopped their discussions and focused on him and Olivia. Now, Daniel played with the kind of confidence that was not common with a child or a beginner. His father admired him with a broad smile on his face, which Daniel was not aware of. When he ended the music, his mini audience applauded him.
“Wow!”
(Clap)
(Clap)
Now, Daniel was startled when heard a thunderous clap from his mini audience at the end of his performance. He looked up from the keyboard and saw their cheerful faces, which encouraged him. Then, he smiled before he turned to Olivia and asked.
“Auntie, did I do very well?”
Olivia gave him a peck on his temple and commended.
“You did very well, my page boy.”
His audience praised him too.
“That is my boy. Come and give dad a hug.”
He stood up quickly and dropped his piano keyboard on the chair, then walked briskly to his dad and gave him a hug.
“Good boy.”
“Come and give uncle a hug too.”
He gave Mr. Denise Bailey a hug as well as his mother before he returned to his seat. With the encouragement, he got from his mini audience, he was spurred to do more.
“I can play another music for you.”
He announced excitedly.
“Please do, but I am going to make a video of you. So, you have to put in your best.”
Olivia encouraged. She stood up and positioned herself to get proper coverage of Daniel, and the mini audience looked on in expectation. Then, Daniel began to play the Hallelujah song, which required more skills than the Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star song because it involved the use of the left hand. This time, he wowed the audience after he played the cord in the left hand and the melody of the song in the right hand. At the end, another resounding clap and cheering erupted from his mini and joyous audience. He clapped cheerily for himself too, and Olivia stopped the recording,
“Hubby, take a look.”
Olivia said as she showed her husband the video.
“Wow! This is beautiful. The video is a high definition.”
Mr. Denise Bailey said as he passed the video on to Mr. Phil Anderson, who watched the video as his wife scooted over to him to take a good look at the video. Then Olivia inquired.
“I will design a website for him if you don’t mind.”
Now, Mr. Phil Anderson looked at his wife.
“Can I have a look at the video?”
Daniel requested after he waited for his parents to hand over the phone to him.
“Oh my dear. You can have it.”
His mother said, and handed over the phone to him. They watched his countenance as he watched the video. Then, he exclaimed.
“Wow! It is so beautiful.”
Then, Olivia helped his parents to make up their minds.
“This can inspire other children who are interested in piano lessons.”
“You are right. Then go ahead and design the website.”
Mr. Phil Anderson said while his wife nodded and advised.
“He will need a private teacher. Mrs. Fields had laid the foundation for him, the private teacher can continue from where she stopped.”
“It is all right. I will design a website for him immediately.”
Afterwards, they had their lunch together. Subsequently, Mr. Denise Bailey and his wife walked them to the car park.
“Thank you for coming.”
Then, Olivia added.
“Daniel, my page boy. See you some other time.”
“Bye Auntie Olivia.”
“Thank you for having us. Bye.”
Mr. Phil Anderson and his wife responded before the family departed.
At Lorene Walker’s Apartment.
After Evelyn White got off her house, she gave her a call. She looked at her phone to check the person who interrupted her train of thought. Then, she reluctantly picked when she saw the caller and greeted.
“Hello, Evelyn Whyte.”
“Oh! Lorene Walker, thank you for your patience. My husband delayed my movement. He was called to work because of the explosion that occurred at the resort yesterday. So sorry. We will continue on Monday.”
“It is all right. See you on Monday.”
Now, Evelyn Whyte was surprised that she was not angry, rather, she sounded warm.
“Why is she not angry? Or could she have done the same thing I did?”
She laughed mischievously, got into her car and drove off.
“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to interact with my future stepchildren.”
Lorene Walker said happily to herself when she got off the call with Evelyn Whyte and picked her office keys quickly. Then, she locked her office after she walked out and headed to her house. Before she got home, Mr. Stephen Bailey was resting in her bedroom and pondering over the events of the past two days.
“Could this be a dream? Where were these women when I was searching for the right partner? Getting married to Lorene Walker will be the best decision I will ever make in my life. She will never suspect that I am having an affair with her friend.”
He smiled in satisfaction and set out to turn on the television that had not been turned on since he visited the house. It was off because they did not want any distraction but, he was alone and bored, so he needed to keep himself company with the television. Then, he heard the doorbell ring.
(Ding)
Now, he dropped the remote control and walked to the door to welcome his woman.
(Ding)
The sound came the second time before he could get to the door, and he responded.
“Hold on. I will be with you shortly.”
He got to the door and opened it. He welcomed her with a charming smile.
“Welcome back. I felt empty without you.”
She walked in as he held the door for her.
“Thank you. I felt the same way too.”
She said as she walked in, and he shut the door. Then, he held her hands while they walked to the couch.
