Stuck In Limbo 1

At 10:00 pm, when he returned to the Security Post after ensuring that there was no security threat at the Center, he remembered Jude Addy and sent a message to Mr. Denise Bailey commending Jude Addy.
(Good evening, boss. I expected you today at the Center. Your friend is bored. What should I do?)
At Mr. Denise Bailey’s Apartment
At 10:00 pm, after he had ensured that his wife was satisfied and had gone to sleep. He got off the bed and walked to his study to do some work and also monitor the story of the uproar at his uncle’s resort. Then, he got a message alert.
(Ding)
He quickly punched on the message when he saw his security as the sender and quickly read through. He ran his hand through his head and exclaimed.
“Oh! My God. I completely forgot about him.”
He gave the security officer a call immediately, and he quickly picked and greeted.
“Hello boss. Good to hear from you.”
“Good evening officer. Thank you for the message. How is Jude Addy?”
“He is fine, but I think he is getting bored being indoors since yesterday.”
Denise chuckled and asked.
“How do you know that he is bored? Did he complain?”
The security officer chuckled too and answered.
“No, boss. He did not, but I noticed he tried to wash the dishes after he cleared them.”
“That is a good one. Find out what he can do and let me know by tomorrow morning.”
“It is noted, boss.”
“For now, he should be restricted to his room.”
“It is all right, boss.”
“What about his wears? You can order for five set of wears and let me know the cost.”
“I will do that at once.”
“That is good. I hope you can guess his size.”
“Yes boss.”
“It is okay. I am waiting.”
After he got off the call with the Security Officer, he kept his phone on the table and turned on his system, while he was waiting for it to boot, he got another message alert.
(Ding)
“Who is this again?”
He showed worried before he picked up his phone and checked. His face beamed with excitement.
“Father.”
He called out before he read through.
(Hello, Denise. Above is the notice of meeting sent to me by our Patriarch; please make out time to represent me. Thank you.)
Denise replied to the message at once.
(All right, father. I will be there. See you later.)
‘It is good to be in the meeting. I will be able to read everyone’s body language.’
He mumbled in excitement because he was aware that the family members have heard about the incident at Mr. Stephen Bailey’s Resort, and it may be part of the agenda. But, before he could keep his phone aside, he got another message. This time, it was from the Security Officer. He had ordered for the five sets of wears for Jude Addy and had sent the account details of the company. Mr. Denise Bailey made the payment at once and sent the payment details to the Security Officer.
Then, he settled down and chatted with his foreign clients who needed security gadgets. Others were also in need of the explosives, which he can freely supply after he had test ran it at the resort. He smiled at his achievement, especially in avenging the evil that Mr. Stephen Bailey conceived against his mother. Afterwards, he tidied his work and joined his wife in bed.
Sunday Morning
Olivia woke up and looked at her husband who was sleeping deeply due to tiredness and the fact that he worked late. She sneaked out of the bed to avoid disturbing his sleep, then sat on the couch. Then, she checked the online page tagged DANIEL DE PIANIST, which she created for Daniel the previous day.
“Wow! Forty-one thousand views and twenty-six thousand likes in less than twenty-four hours. That is commendable.”
She praised. Among the viewers were the grandparents who were not social media savvy. However, they were impressed to see their grandson doing what the children of his age could not do without knowing the source. She commented, liked and shared the page with a secret account. When she was done, she walked downstairs and prepared the breakfast quickly before she joined her husband on the bed. If her husband discovers that she did the cooking, Caleb would be in trouble, so she would do the cooking secretly while he would serve.
At The Tourist Center
By the arrangement between the Security Officer and the men's wears company, they promised to be at the island by 7:00, and they kept to the time. At the stipulated time, the company vehicle was at the Tourist Center and the Security Officer took the delivery of the wears. When it was time to serve his breakfast, which was the same as the complimentary breakfast that the guests took, the Security Officer accompanied the waiter who deliver the food to him. After the waiter left, he handed the clothes bag to Jude Addy who was about to start eating his meal.
“Jude Addy.”

The panicked Jude Addy who had lived in fear for the past four years looked up, thinking he had wronged anyone. Then, the Security Officer continued.
“The boss sent this bag to you. He requested to know what you can do. That is, he wants to know if you have any skill.”
Now, Jude Addy’s eyes became moist. From the look of things, the only skill he had was to aid in criminal activities. Thanks to the adults who were supposed to be responsible members of the society who hired and groomed him on how to be perfect. All the same, he presented the only skill he acquired as a child, which may not be what the boss would be looking for.
“I can make music with the piano.”
He said shyly.
“That would be nice. I will let the boss know about it.”
“Thank you, sir. Please send my regards to the boss. Tell him that I appreciate.”
“It is all right. I will do that.”
The Security Officer left and shut the door behind him, while Jude Addy grabbed the clothes bag and began to examine them one after the other. Now, the moist in his eyes began to drop freely as he remembered his late parents and the way they shopped for him back then.
“Who is this man? Does he want to use me for criminal activities again? God, let it not be.”
Then, he dried his tears and said his prayers again before he ate.
(I will lift my eyes unto the hills. Where will my help come from?…)
Subsequently, the Security Officer sent Jude Addy’s appreciation and his skill to Mr. Denise Bailey, who was still sleeping.
At Mr. Denise Bailey’s House,
Mr. Denise Bailey woke up by 8:30 am after his wife woke him up.
“Hubby, wake up and have your breakfast. You can go back to sleep afterwards.”
He opened his eyes gradually and behold his Angel smiling lovingly to him.
(Peck)
“My handsome. You look more handsome when you are tired.”
Denise giggled and hit her with a throw pillow and warned.
“Stop flattering me.”
“You think so? We will talk about that later. Come with me for your breakfast.”
She held him by the left hand and helped him to get up. He walked to the bathroom, brushed up and joined her in the bedroom. Just as she advised, they got to the parlor, had their breakfast and returned to the bedroom. Denise went back to sleep and slept for another two hours while his wife was by his side following up Daniel’s page.
At Mr. Oscar Bailey’s House.
Mr. Oscar Bailey was an easy-going man who did not want trouble nor had a fighting spirit. Likewise, he never bothered asking for details from Mr. Arthur Bailey how he got to know that his wife was at Mr. Stephen Bailey’s house. In his opinion, the best he could do was to report the matter to the Patriarch for amicable settlement. Unlike Mr. Arthur Bailey and his children, who believed in the principle of nipping in the bud and stopping any brooding indiscipline from the root. He was elated when he got the invitation to the family meeting at the barrack. While they were having their breakfast on the dining table that Sunday morning, he endeavored to prepare his wife for the meeting.
“Zoey.”
“Yes, Oscar.”
She responded as she dropped her cutlery and fixed her eyes on her husband.
“When we get to the meeting, do not be intimidated by the faces of the elderly men you will face, just say what you knew about the abduction.”
“Okay, dear.”
“I am sure the elders would caution him, and he would not try such again.”
“Only caution? Is there no punishment for such a nefarious act? I almost lost my life.”
Mr. Oscar Bailey chuckled and explained.
“You know he is a fellow kinsman, and such dicey matter could tear the family apart if not handled with care.”
“Fellow kinsman. Dicey matter. If Arthur had not taken the initiative of involving the police, I would have died in Stephen’s house.”
Now, Mr. Oscar Bailey was speechless as he watched her got off the dining table angrily and walked to the bedroom. He knew that she was right. Mr. Arthur Bailey and his children would not give the matter a second thought before dealing with such a matter, and everyone in the Bailey family was aware of that.
“People are not the same.”
He mumbled as he joined her in the bedroom.
