The Global Peace Ambassador

The Next Day
That morning, he woke up as usual and asked the janitor to prepare the breakfast while he prepared for work. When Mrs. Nichole Bailey got down to ask the janitor to do that, she discovered that he was on it.
“The Young Master had told me what to do.”
The janitor informed.
“It is all right.”
She returned to the room and informed her husband, who laughed out loud and remarked.
“Poor boy. He had learned his lesson the hard way.”
“You are right, Hubby. I think we have reprimanded him enough.”
“I don't think so. Until he opens up, his wound would not heal.”
“You are right. At least we would be certain that he would be safe if he returns to Sevenoaks today.”
“I am glad that you got my point.”
They got to the dinner table and met him seated and waiting for them.
“Good morning, father, and mom.”
He greeted, but they gave him a cursory response and settled down to have their breakfast. After the breakfast, he walked out of the parlor to the car park without a word. Meanwhile, Mr. Arthur Bailey and his wife stood up too. He walked to the key hanging board to pick his car keys, but to his fear, he could not find any key.
“What happened, where are the keys?”
Now, Mrs. Nichole Bailey looked at the board and marveled when she discovered that even her car key was not
“Have you asked the security?”
(Pim)
As he was about to ask the security guard about the key, they heard the horn of his car. Then, they looked at each other and walked out and joined him in the car. Howbeit, they quietly took their seats at the back seat, and he drove off without asking questions. Meanwhile, he drove to the hospital and stopped at the vestibule and Nichole, who had suppressed her laughter, got off the car after her husband kissed her temple.
“Have a nice day, Wifey.”
“And you too.”
Louis did not say a word to her, neither did she say any to him too. He drove off and headed to the office complex. When he drove to the Administrative Block, he parked at the vestibule and his father got off and walked to his office while he drove off to the car park.
'I will not be surprised if this boy returns to Sevenoaks with my car.'
He thought as he walked to his office. Then, he settled down and continued with the proposal of the security cameras that Dr. Fidelis Abba requested for. After some minutes, he checked the CCTV and discovered that his car was parked at his parking lot.
“Where has he gone with my car keys?”
Now, he was not thinking of ignoring him anymore – he had pushed him into speaking with him. Then, he picked his phone and tried to give him a call. Suddenly, his office door opened and his esteemed last born walked in and headed quickly to the mini conference table, turned on his system and began to work too.
(Mmmhhh)
Mr. Arthur Bailey breathed freely. Soon, his door opened and Mr. Denise Bailey walked in joyously and greeted his father hastily.
“Good morning, father. Where is Louis?”
Before his father could respond to his greeting, he spotted his brother on the mini conference table.
“Good to see you, big brother.”
Mr. Louis Bailey greeted as he stood up.
“Wow! Louis, Good to see you. My secretary said you checked on me.”
“Yes. She said you were yet to arrive.”
“You are right. When did you leave Sevenoaks? You are so early.”
“I came yesterday.”
“You are welcome.”
Now, Mr. Denise Bailey had understood his problem and was comfortable with the circumstances, so, he did not bother to ask why he did not check on him. Then, Mr. Louis Bailey continued.
“Congratulations on your well-deserved honor as The Global Peace Ambassador.”
“Thank you.”
Denise gave him a hug, and they chatted briefly on other issues, without touching on his wife. Then, he walked him to the door, got back to his father's office and resumed his work. Now, he was working as though he was in his office at a Sevenoaks and the Chairman was at the headquarters. Subsequently, he sent the report of the proposed Oil Well to him. When his mail popped up on the Chairman’s system, he gave Mr. Louis Bailey a searching look and muttered.
“What kind of human being is this?”
While he was waiting for his father’s response, he called his secretary and gave them instructions on what to do, without minding whether the calls disturbed his father or not. As for his mail, the Chairman did not bother to waste his time on an issue that must be discussed face to face. He concentrated on his proposal. After two hours, he sent it to Dr. Abba.
At 1pm, his father gathered his stuff to leave. When he noticed that, he gathered his stuff too. He got off the office and headed for the parking space, pulled out his car and drove to the vestibule. Then, he stopped in the front of the Chairman, he got in and his emergency driver, who knew his itinerary just like him drove to the hospital, stopped at the vestibule and began to wait.
Meanwhile, Mr. Arthur Bailey was convinced that if his wife spent the whole day before coming, that Louis would not move the car away from the vestibule. So, he quickly gave her a call and informed her of his presence.
“Hello, Nichole. We are at the vestibule.”
Mrs. Nichole Bailey laughed softly when she heard 'we' before she responded.
“Okay dear. I will be with you shortly.”
“Mrs. Bailey, your husband is around.”
The janitor, who just walked in, informed her.
“Yes. Thank you, Rachael. Kindly inform Zoey that I have left and that she should find her way home.”
Mrs. Nichole Bailey hurriedly requested from the janitor as she was walking briskly to join her husband and unpredictable son.
“Consider it done, Mrs. Bailey.”
