The Epiphany 13

“One would think that it is only the guys who treat women with contempt, I knew better when Henry told me how Whitney walked out on him.”
“Walked out on him? Did he offend her?”
Mr. Denise Bailey, who was not aware that it was his father who made her to walk out on Mr. Henry Taylor, asked with concerned while Mr. Phil Anderson looked on.
“I don’t think he offended her.”
Now Mr. Nicholas Fields gave them a rundown of what Henry told him that transpired between him and Whitney and concluded with.
“If Henry had wronged her, I expected her to call my attention and I will wade in, and the problem will be resolved amicably.”
“Exactly. That is how true love should be.”
Denise pointed out. Then, Phil added with his opinion.
“She must have met a richer guy and was only searching for an opportunity to jilt him.”
Now, Mr. Phil Anderson recalled that Henry’s case was similar to how Louis treated Olivia. He waited for Mr. Denise Bailey to say something about it. When he did not, he decided not to talk about it. Afterwards, they left for their homes.
At Mr. Denise Bailey’s Home
When they got home, they effected the suggestions of Mr. Nicholas Fields and sent their final advert to him for vetting before publication. He went through and made some adjustment before he sent it back to them. They posted the advert on the page and to their surprise, parents have begun to register to indicate interest on their children’s behalf.
(My son will perform.)
(My son is good at piano. He would be glad to participate.)
(Wow! My granddaughter would be part of this.)
Now, Denise had gotten the complete picture of the concert and advised his wife.
“Angel.”
“Yes, Hubby.”
“I have seen the size and future of this program and I feel that we should employ people to assist you. What do you think?”
“Thank you for your concern. We are on the same page. When I told Jude that I will speak with him later, that was precisely what I wanted to discuss with him.”
“That is good. What do you have in mind?”
“Since he is good at piano and image branding, I think he can be the manager of the Daniel De Pianist?”
“You are right. In that case, we will create an office specifically for that in the Tourist Center.”
“Wow. That is good. This little idea of mine is becoming big.”
Now, Denise pulled her nose and commended.
“Yes. That is why you are my Angel and the first lady boss in the Bailey’s family.”
“Thank you for believing in me.”
Subsequently, Olivia’s phone rang, and she picked it joyously and announced.
“My mom.”
Then, his face beamed with a smile, and he watched her spoke.
“Hello, mom. How is dad?”
“Hello, Olivia, how are you?”
“I’m fine, mom. How is dad?”
“Your dad is fine. How is your nice husband and your nice parents’ in-law?”
Now, Denise, who had been listening quietly to their talk, smiled.
“My nice husband and my nice parents’ in-law are fine.”
“I am thrilled to hear that. I called to inform you that your aunts wedding will take place this weekend. I have sent the details to you.”
“All right, mom.”
“Discuss with your husband and doctor and see if you can make it. If it will not be possible, don’t bother to come.”
Now, Olivia looked at her husband and spoke.
“Speak with my husband. He is here.”
“Oh! That is good.”
Now, Olivia handed her phone to her husband, who collected it joyously and spoke with the mother-in-law. He assured him that they would be around for the wedding if the doctor approves of it.
At Miss Harriet David’s House.
After they left the Taylor’s Family House, Henry took her home and was shocked when he met her family. Her parents who thought that she was at the restaurant were surprised to see her at home by that time of the day and more surprise to see her with a man who was smiling beside her.
“Harriet, why are back by this time?”
“Her mother asked when they walked in.”
Meanwhile, her father, who was coming to the parlor from the room, fixed his gaze on the young man who would not only be his son-in-law, but would be the son he had longed for all his life. Then Harriet spoke.
“I brought my husband home. He wishes to meet you.”
Mrs. David, who was talking from the kitchen, walked forward to meet Henry who was still and ran her eyes over him and greeted.
“Welcome to my home, young man.”
Now, Mr. Henry Taylor responded cheerfully.
“Good evening mother, good evening father.”
Then, Hon. David walked up to him and extended his hands to him for a handshake. Afterwards, he said.
“Take your seat, young man. Welcome to our humble home.”
“Thank you, father.”
He appreciated and took his seat, and Harriet sat beside him. Now, her parents had observed the engagement ring on her finger and were convinced that she was not joking. Then, Harriet spoke, holding Henry’s palm with her two hands while he looked at her.
“Father, mother, meet the man I will spend the rest of my life with. His name is Mr. Henry Taylor.”
Now her mother, who was already seated beside her husband, was the first to speak.
“So sudden?”
Miss Harriet David smiled and responded.
"Yes, mom.”
Then, Hon. David spoke.
“I am awestruck. All the same, congratulations to the two of you.”
“Thank you, father.”
They appreciated accordingly. Mrs. David registered her wishes too.
“Congratulations, to you. I can’t believe that it is real.”
“Thank you, mom.”
“What do you care for?”
Mrs. David ask as she stood up, and Harriet followed suit. Then Hon. David asked.
“I know of many Taylors. Which of them is your father?”
“Sir Chris Taylor, is my father.”
“Oh! I am familiar with the name. Congratulations once again.”
“Thank you, father.”
Now Henry sat up on his seat and spoke.
