The Secret 6

Subsequently, Dr. Caesar called on his secretary and gave him an instruction. Then, he raised a memo informing the staff members that Madam Lorene Walker was to proceed on six months suspension with immediate effect. Meanwhile, Mrs. Nichole Bailey was working in her office when she got the mail.
“Wow! Just suspension? The committee is too lenient.”
She mumbled and concentrated on her work.
At the Bailey International Conglomerates
When Denise asked the Center Manager to ask a driver to bring Jude to his office, he quickly arranged for a driver to take the petrified Jude to his office.
“Jude, the boss had sent for you and the driver who will take you to him is set.”
However, Jude looked at his dressing to see if it suits his trip, and the manager helped him in his decision.
“You are okay. You can go. Don’t keep him waiting. The driver will wait for you and bring you back.”
“I got it, boss.”
The manager’s word ‘the driver will wait for you and bring you back’ helped him to calm down. He got into one of the operational vehicles with the emblem of the Tourist Center, and they left. On the way, he admired the city which he was passing through for the first time without criminal intentions. They got to the lonely road where the wolves laid ambush for Mr. Arthur Bailey, and he felt sober. Soon they were at the gate of the conglomerates. He looked on when the Security Men asked the driver to open his car trunk for a check. Thereafter, they submitted their phones and drove in.
“Here we are.”
The driver announced after he parked. Jude looked around with caution. Soon, they were at Mr. Denise Bailey’s office. He got into his office while the driver waited at the reception.
“Good day boss. You sent for me.”
“Yes, take your seat.”
After he took his seat, Mr. Denise Bailey gave him a smile to calm his nerves before he spoke.
“Do you remember that I said we will talk about your immigration status later?”
“Yes, boss.”
“Okay. My father is around. He needs your details to legalize your status.”
Now, Jude became emotional and appreciated before they left for the Chairman’s office.
They got to his office and met him gleeful. He had just responded to his wife’s encouraging message. Then, he looked up and welcomed them.
“Good day father. Here is Jude.”
Now, Jude was astounded the moment Mr. Arthur Bailey looked up, and he screamed.
“No.”
They looked at him as cold sweat had begun to gather on his forehead. He looked at Arthur before he looked at Denise, who was surprised as his father.
“What is the matter, Jude?”
Meanwhile, Mr. Arthur Bailey had taken a likeness for him. His innocent look and the fact that he was an orphan who was lured into crime made him to develop a soft spot for. Then, he called his name and directed.
“Jude, take your seat.”
Now, Denise had taken his seat, while Jude was still standing and staring vacantly. Then, Denise commanded.
“Take your seat, Jude.”
Jude sat down in trepidation and began to sob while his father looked on with a mild smile on his face, but Denise was upset. To their amazement, Jude confessed.
“He was the man in the picture that my boss asked the wolves to eliminate.”
Now, a complete silence enveloped the Chairman’s office, and the smile on his face faded. Then, he took a critical look at him and inquired.
“What do you mean by the man in the picture and who are the wolves?”
Jude narrated how Mr. Stephen Bailey had engaged the wolves to stand and pose with a police van with his photographs at the lonely road, and how the plot was foiled. The troubled Denise looked at the sobbing Jude and was moved with compassion. Likewise, he consoled.
“Stop that, Jude. I have told you that it was not your fault. You were only a victim.”
“I know, boss. But why was I the victim?”
Despite his story, Mr. Arthur Bailey, who had been processing the information he got from Jude, advised.
“Jude, feel free. No one will harm you. Did you get me?”
“Yes Sir.”
He responded as he fought hard to stop sobbing.
“So, tell me, when did this happen and where?”
“It had happened on Monday before your wedding on Thursday.”
“My wedding on Thursday?”
Mr. Arthur Bailey, who was wondering how he got to know that his wedding would have taken place on a Thursday, exclaimed. Then, Jude paused and looked at Mr. Denise Bailey, who was looking at it with rapt attention. He was the only person who was aware of what he was about to say, then he carried on.
“That was the day I helped him to kidnap his woman from the government hospital?”
Now, Denise nodded in affirmation before he looked at his father and confirmed his story.
“Yes, father. He told me that. That must be the day he kidnapped Auntie Zoey.”
The bewildered Jude gawked at Denise and asked.
“Do you know his woman?”
Mr. Denise Bailey smiled in triumph and looked at his father, who became at ease when he got an insight to what happened that day.
“Give me this information.”
Mr. Arthur Bailey requested as he handed over a form to him.
At Sevenoaks
While Mr. Phil Anderson and Mr. Max Winston were waiting at the reception, Max gave him a call again and noticed that he was still on call.
“Who could he be speaking with?”
Max asked as he looked at Phil, who had called him earlier. Then, Phil stood up and advised.
“Let’s go in.”
Max stood up at once, and they headed for his office door. Erick, who had been delighted working with Mr. Louis Bailey before now hated himself that day. He was so helpless when he saw the two well-built men walking to his boss’s office without his approval. To be relevant, he walked after them and when they walked into the office, he was surprised to see his boss who had been on a long call smile when he saw them. Then, he waved at him to return to his office, which he did. Phil and Max smiled back and took their seats graciously on the couch while he attempted to conclude his call.
