Ambassador of Peace 4
Now, Mr. Denise Bailey handed his device to his father, who read it with contentment. Afterwards, he handed the device over to his wife to read and exclaimed.
“Wow! You have made me proud again.”
“Thank you father. You made it happen.”
“We shall be there to give you all the support that you need.”
“Son, I am proud of you. Come and give me a hug.”
Mr. Denise Bailey, who was standing behind his father's couch, walked up to his mother and gave her a hug.
“Thank you, mom, for being there for me.
“You are welcome.”
“Father and mom. I wish to be on my way. That was what brought me before I met our guests at the gate.”
“It is all right, son. How is Tim?”
“He is fine. We are through with his change of name and Nationality.”
“That is good. He can retain his mother's name as his stage name.”
“Wow! That will be nice.”
Then Mrs. Nichole Bailey asked.
“How is your wife?”
“She is fine, mom.”
“We are counting down.”
“Yes mom.”
“I can't wait to see your children.”
Mr. Denise Bailey chuckled and afterwards, his parents walked him to his car and he left.
After the meeting with Admiral Charles Twist, the Chief of the Defense Staff of Dunforn South and Admiral Fabian Jacob, Chief of the Defense Staff of Dunforn North about three months ago. They returned to their countries and continued to deliberate on the peace talk which he had begun with them. When they left his office that day, Mr. Denise Bailey planned that they should return to their suite at his Tourist Center in one car. That arrangement was to foster the ideal of unity and peace as a basis of progress. He wanted them to bond as humans and appreciate the joy that come with love, and it worked. While they were seated together at the back seat of the car, different thoughts ran through their minds.
'Now, that we are seated together, did any of us die?'
The Chief of the Defense Staff from the North thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Admiral Fabian Jacob was lost in thought as he admired the beautiful city of Dover and the peace that filled the atmosphere.
'Even the air we breathe here is peaceful.'
(Hiss)
When he hissed, Admiral Charles Twist was distracted from his reverie so, he turned and looked at him and noticed that he was moody, then he attempted to chat him up.
“Admiral, I hope you are okay?”
He looked at the driver whom he did to hear their discussion before he looked at Admiral Charles Twist and shook his head in the positive. Then, he mumbled.
“I am all right, Admiral.”
Admiral Charles Twist smiled dryly and did not bother him again with questions. Finally, they were at the Tourist Center and time to get off the vehicle.
“Thank you, driver.”
Admiral Charles Twist, appreciated.
“It is my pleasure, Admiral.”
Now, he opened his door and noticed that Admiral Fabian Jacob was not moved, so, he tapped his right leg with his left hand and announced.
“We are at the Tourist Center, Admiral.”
Now, Admiral Fabian Jacob jolted suddenly and smiled.
“Thank you, Admiral.”
He obliged as he attempted to open the door with his left hand, but the driver, who was already out of the car, assisted him by opening the door. He got off the car and appreciated the driver. Now, Admiral Charles Twist, who was already out of the car, walked up to him, and they began to walk towards the suite. When they got to the first floor, the orderlies walked to the front desk and collected the keys to their suites. Now, Admiral Charles Twist, who felt that he may be depressed, walked him to his suite and ensured that he was at ease. Then he set out to leave.
“All right, Admiral. I beg to take my leave.”
Admiral Fabian Jacob, who was resting on the couch, while his Orderly looked on, appreciated
“Thank you Admiral for your concern. I am not taking it for granted. What about having lunch with me?”
“That won't be a bad idea. I will be back.”
Admiral Charles Twist walked back to his room, and after he had freshened up, he returned to Admiral Fabian Jacob's suites and had lunch together. The next day, they left for their countries.
Now, they had found their bearings and reached a consensus. The two countries, Dunforn south and Dunforn North, had emerged into one country, and they became a United Dunforn Republic. They recognized the role that Mr. Denise Bailey played in making them to reason with each other. According to them.
“We had been enriching other ammunition suppliers, who had been encouraging us to continue with the war to our ruin.”
“You are right. He deserved to be honored.”
When they fixed the date for the official amalgamation of the two countries, they sent an invitation to Mr. Denise Bailey and promised to honor him with the most prestigious title as the Global Peace Ambassador.
