Their Dilemma
While the First Lady of the Bailey Family was sleeping and enjoying the peace that supersedes the comprehension of Lorene and company on the chest of her Prince Charming, they were running after a shadow. That was their dilemma.
When Lorene got home, she was deeply hurt because she missed her opportunity of having lunch with the man that she longed to have lunch with and if possible, warm his bed, couch, or desk that afternoon and send the video to Nichole.
“Why should the police choose to arrest whoever today?”
She mumbled as she sipped her glass of alcoholic wine while she reminisced on her failure. The thought of that kept her nagging for the rest of the day and beclouded her reasoning.
“If only I have his contact. I would have given him a call.”
“Or, should I pay him a visit in his house?”
With these two options before her, she found herself on the horns of a dilemma.
“Which of these options is pertinent? I will see Evelyn Whyte tomorrow and seek her opinion.”
She smiled broadly at her decisiveness.
At Denise Bailey's Apartment
As brave as Mr. Denise Bailey was, he was afraid of a mysterious man who he saw in a dream, but he was not afraid of a living being like his uncle.
He got home after work armed with his plans. His wife ran out with her beautiful knee-length trendy maternity gown which made her baby bump visible to all to receive him.
“Welcome back, hubby.”
She greeted as she got into the passenger's seat. Her husband turned and looked at her as she was glowing like the morning sun. His eyes sparkled with affection as he rubbed the baby.
“Thank you, my beauty. Did you miss me?”
“Yes, hubby. We missed you.”
“Baby, did you miss dad? Say welcome to dad.”
They chatted on some sweet nonsense that could be discussed in the house. Then, the moment that Mr. Denise Bailey feared most came.
“Honey, I want us to drive out. I had been indoors all day.”
Mr. Denise Bailey felt he was not being fair to her. Though she works from the house, but she deserved to move around. He looked at her beautiful and pleading face and asked.
“What would you like to have?”
“Vanilla fudge.”
“It is okay. Let's go. John will come with us. We will be in the car while he picks whatever you need. Are you good with that?”
“Yeah. I'm cool.”
“John.”
He called out. Then, John walked briskly and answered.
“You called me, boss.”
“Yes. Kindly let Caleb know that we are going out and get into the car.”
“All right boss.”
John did as Denise had instructed him before joining them in the car. Then, he drove her around the neighborhood for about thirty minutes before they parked at a mall.
“John, take. Get three parks of Vanilla fudge.”
“It is noted, boss.”
John collected the money and left while he waited with his wife in the car with a dare the devil attitude. Soon, John returned with the packs of Vanilla fudge, and they drove back home peacefully. Then, Denise Bailey laughed at his cowardice.
'No mysterious man anywhere. It was just a dream.'
He assured himself as he led his wife to the house.
At The Bailey Native Home.
Mr. Arthur Bailey and his wife taken their nap, oblivious of the fact that many people were in the police net and were being interrogated because of him. The Constable kept the case away from him to allow the criminals and the accomplices to surface around him.
'If I inform him, he may become security conscious and ward of the accomplices and the criminals.'
He thought. As for the three wolves, they would rather die than to disclose their principal.
Meanwhile, at 4 pm, they went out for a walk. The other members of the Bailey's family were not aware that they were married, even after she moved into his apartment.
“Do we owe them any explanation?”
Mr. Arthur Bailey asked when they walked past some family members who greeted them casually.
“We owe them nothing. That reminds me, hubby. I was not opportune to speak with Angel yesterday. I hope she exercises?”
“You can give her a call.”
“OK. I will do that.”
She gave her a call while her husband looked on.
“It rang and had cut. Maybe she was not with her phone. I will try later.”
After ten minutes, she tried again. Now, they were already at home. Mr. Arthur Bailey suggested.
“You can call Denise. He should be off work by now.”
Now, Nichole gave Denise a call, and he picked up at once. He was just walking into the house from their outing when he got the call.
“Hello, mom. Good to hear from you.”
“Glad to hear from you, too. How is Angel. I have been calling her line, but she did not pick.”
Denise turned and looked at her, but she was not with her phone.
“All right, mom, you can speak with her.”
He handed the phone over to his wife and watched her speak with his mom.”
“Hello, mom. Good to hear from you.”
“Good to hear from you. I called to inform you that you need to walk out from time to time. Exercise is very necessary for you and the baby.”
“All right mom. Thank you for your concern.”
“It is all right. I can see you are good.”
“Yes Mom. How is father?”
Nichole looked at her husband who was walking beside her and replied.
“Father is fine.”
“All right, mom. My regards to him.”
“It is okay. Take care of yourself.”
“Thank you mom. Bye.”
Mr. Arthur Bailey, who always fall head over heels in love with Nichole again whenever she displayed the character traits that made her an outstanding personality, announced.
“I love you, Nichole.”
“I love you too, Arthur.”

At Mr. Denise Bailey's Apartment
Mr. Denise Bailey got a call from his mom as he led his wife into the house. He handed his phone over to her when his mother informed him that the call was meant for his wife.
“Angel dear, mom wants to speak with you.”
“Oh!”
She exclaimed as she collected the phone from her husband, who led her to the couch to sit down comfortably.
“Hello, mom…”
After she hung up, she looked at her husband and inquired.
“Did you hear what mom said?”
“Yes. She advised you to walk out from time to time and that exercise is very necessary for you and the baby. By the way, where is your phone?”
“It is in the room.”
“Mom must have called your number before calling mine. Let me get it for you.”
“No, hubby. I will get it. It is part of the exercise mom talked about.”
“That is my baby. Always obedient.”
Mr. Denise Bailey commended as she walked up to the bedroom to get her phone. He turned on the television while John took the Vanilla Fudge to the kitchen.
“Thank you, John. You can serve some Vanilla Fudge, please.”
“All right, Boss.”
Olivia, who got back immediately with her phone, sat beside her husband. He looked at her and asked.
“You are fast. I hope you did not run?”
“No, hubby. I walked briskly.”

“It is okay. Don't run lest you fall.”
“All right hubby. Apart from mom's call, I missed my mom's call too.”
“Gosh! Please, call her back.”
She set out to call her mom and then, John served the Vanilla Fudge. When she got through with her mother, she apologized frankly.
“Mom, I am so sorry. I left my phone in the house while Denise and I strolled out.”
“I thought as much. Always carry your phone wherever you go.”
“It is noted, mom.”
“I called to check on you and to inform you that my sister, Ann, is getting married.”
“Wow! I am happy for aunty Ann. When?”
“A month from today.”
“It is all right. Speak with my husband.”
Now, Mr. Denise Bailey collected the phone from his wife and greeted.
“Hello, mom. Good to hear from you.”
“Good to hear from you, son. I hope you are good?”
“Yes, I am good. And you?”
“I am fine, mom. Angel and I will be at the marriage ceremony if we get the details and the doctor approves that she is fit to travel.”
“Wow. That will be marvelous. She will be fit by God's grace. I will send the details, later.”
“All right mom. Regards to dad.”
“Thank you, Denise. Bye.”
“Bye mom.”
The excited Olivia said as the husband cut the call. She turned to the husband and expressed her joy.

“You are the best hubby. It will be a time of reunion for all the family members.”
Now, Mr. Denise Bailey ran his left hand on her long gold hair and reciprocated after he picked a piece of the Vanilla Fudge that John just served.
“You are the best, wifey. Take your Vanilla Fudge.”
“Thank you, hubby.”
