Father. I am Dying 2

She nodded her head in agreement, and her husband confirmed his suspicions.
“I thought as much. Stop crying, please. At least, we have seen him. For remembering to come home, let us be strong and find out what could be his reason for coming.”
He disengaged her and gave Dr. Kadon Quain a call. When he saw the Chairman’s call, he became fretful and thought of a lie to tell.
“I will tell him that I am on my way to his house.”
When he was convinced that his lies would go a long way in calming the Chairman’s nerves, he picked.
“Hello, boss.”
“Yes, doctor. I wish to let you know that he is with us.”
“Oh! That is….”
(Cut)
Then, he gave Mr. Phil Anderson a call, too. When he picked, he gave him the same information as he gave the doctor.
“That is good. I am coming over.”
Now, Mr. Arthur Bailey changed to his casual wears just like his wife, and they set out for his room. When they got to the door, his mom knocked and opened the door because she was not expecting him to respond. She got in and her husband followed. They met him sitting on the bed and rested his head on the head rest. Now, he was tired of crying, and the mark of dry tears made a line from his eyes down to his jaw. Although, it was covered with bears, but it was soaked with tears.
“Louis.”
His father called out when he waited for his greeting. He attempted to answer, but he found himself crying. Then, his mother sat beside him and comforted.
“Don't bother to talk. Have you had your lunch?”
He nodded in refusal, and his mother reassured him.
“It is all right, son. Lunch would soon be ready.”
She walked out of the room and instructed the janitor before she walked back to the room and met her husband trying to remove his jacket. Now, Mr. Louis Bailey loosened his necktie and pulled out his shoes. He rested back on the bed while his parents sat on the couch and watched him. Then, Mr. Arthur Bailey picked the television remote and switched on the television, and they watched silently. Soon, Mr. Phil Anderson walked in. He was determined to put an end to the drama, after all, everyone was aware of everything.
“Father and mom, good day.”
They looked away from the television and looked at him. Meanwhile, he was looking worried, which they mistook for worrying about Louis. To their surprise, he sat beside Mr. Louis Bailey on the bed and asked.
“Louis, do you wish to send mom and father to their graves earlier than they should go? Tell them whatever that is bothering you.”
Now, Louis, who thought the matter was still encoded before Phil and kept away from his parents, released a painful smile. Then, Mr. Arthur Bailey rode on Mr. Phil Anderson's coattail and inquired.
“Son.”
“Yes, father.”
“What brought you?”
Instead of answering his father's question, he began to tear up. Then, Phil glared at him and announced.
“This will not lead us to anywhere.”
Then, Mr. Arthur Bailey continued.
“I thought you have come to let us know that the girl you fell out of love with is now your brother's wife?”
Now, Mr. Louis Bailey was astonished. He could recall that he discussed his ex-girlfriend with Mr. Phil Anderson and Mr. Max Winston, but he never mentioned that she was Olivia. Then, he calmly said.
“Father, I am dying. I can't bear it anymore.”
Now, Phil, who was sitting beside him on the bed, placed his hand on his shoulder and pacified him while his parents looked on.
“It's OK. Allow your past to pass, please.”
He looked at his parents and noticed that they were not happy, and he got off the bed, and walked to the father, who was waiting to hear more confession from him. Then, Mr. Arthur Bailey stood up and gave him a hug. He held his father firmly for a few seconds and repeated.
“I'm dying slowly. Please help me.”
“It is all right, son. Just like Phil said, allow your past to pass.”
Then, Mr. Louis Bailey walked up to his mother and did the same thing. When his mother stood up, he gave her a hug too and whispered.
“I am sorry, mom. I have caused you so much stress.”
“It is okay. Always remember that your ability to conquer challenges is what makes you a hero.”
“I will always remember that, mom.”
Then, he walked back to the bed and gave Phil a hug too and apologized too. Afterwards, he sat back on the bed and his father, who was still looking gloomy, requested.
“Son.”
“Yes, father.”
“Promise us that you would not allow us to pass through the trouble you put us through today.”
The bewildered Louis, who was not aware that he put his parents into any trouble, asked.
“If I may ask, what trouble are you talking about, dad?”
“Check your phone. We called you several times, and you refused to pick.”
Now, Mr. Louis Bailey looked around for his phone and realized that his phone was not with him.
“Where is my phone?”
He got up from the bed and Phil got up too. They lifted the pillows and discovered that his phone was not there. Then, his mother asked.
“Are you convinced that you picked it from your office?”
He looked at her, but could not recall whether he picked his phone from his office or not. Then, his father asked.
“Where is your system?”
Then Mr. Phil Anderson added.
“And your car keys.”
At that moment, Mr. Louis Bailey dipped his hands into his pocket and pulled them out. Now his mother was upset, considering the risk he took by driving himself from Sevenoaks to Dover. Then, she reprimanded.
“Louis, this risk is too much. I can see that you did not even know how you drove yourself to the house.”
“I am sorry, mom.”
