The Twist of Events 14

To his perturbation, while he was fighting and defeating the boys, their girlfriends were hailing him and wished that he would notice them. Afterward, he looked around and was satisfied that no enemy was on the way again, he stretched out his hand to his new friends for a handshake.
“Thank you for your time. I hope to see you someday.”
“It is our pleasure, Master. See you some day.”
Then, he headed for the exit and a few girls walked up to him and greeted him seductively.
“Hi, handsome.”
As for the girls, they were through with the weaklings and needed a strong fellow like Jeff to hook up with. Notwithstanding, he remembered his purpose of attending the party, to go into a relationship with any girl of his choice. Then, he looked at their faces, and they met with his standard and he gave them an encouraging smile, which exposed his beautiful dentition and responded.
“Hello, beauties. It is a pleasure meeting you.”
“It is our pleasure too, handsome.”
They responded with exuberance. Then, he enthusiastically put his right hand forward to them for a handshake, but it never took place. He saw the eight beautiful girls on the floor with blood gushing out of their mouths, eyes, nose, and ears. Instantly, he was covered with goose bumps. Then, his legs wobbled while he was scared to his marrow at the gullible sight. He looked around to see who could be responsible for such devious act. To his fear, he saw the Angel of death, who he saw at the island looking at the girls maliciously.
“What!”
He exclaimed. Then, he ran as his heels could carry him. Apart from that, he forgot that he was a black belt holders, who must live up to his position because the younger ones looked up to him as a Master. Meanwhile, he also forgot that he was with his bodyguards and Personal Assistant and ran by himself from the party venue to the Manor.
“Open the gate at once. She is out to kill me.”
He screamed at the gatekeepers to open the gate and let him in. Then, he woke up abruptly. Now, he was panting and drenched with sweat despite the winter.
“Why is she out to take my life?”
He muttered under his breath.
In his opinion, Jennifer Girard was a grim reaper without a scythe, who killed at random. He also believed that he escaped because he was clever. He would only get the interpretation of the dream if he would be calm.
In the Morning
Ken left to work while Leon and Jeff left for school. Meanwhile, Mr. Morris had advised Dora on Prof. Green's favorite, and she ensured that the chef prepared the gravy. When the breakfast was ready, he walked to Prof. Green's suite, pressed the doorbell and waited for his response. Soon, he heard a voice that thrilled him.
“Hold on. I will be with you.”
“It is all right.”
Now, he suspected that he might be in the washroom and taking his bath. So, instead of standing and waiting for him, he instructed the janitor who was assigned to him.
“Bring him to the dinner table when he is through.”
“It is noted, Mr. Morris.”
Then, he walked back to the elevator and joined his wife and Dora, who were seated on the table. They gave him a questioning look and he explained.
“I assume he is in the washroom. Let's wait for him in the parlor.”
“It is all right.”
They got off the table and walked to the parlor. It gave the women the opportunity to monitor their workers and leave instructions for them. After twenty minutes, the janitor and the Professor joined them. The joy that radiated around him was obvious. Then, he took his seat and greeted cheerfully.
“A good morning to you all.”
“A good morning to you, Prof. Green.”
The family responded joyously. Now, Mr. Morris observed that he was more cheerful and relaxed. Not only that, he was healthier and younger than his age.
“I can see that you slept well, Prof.”
“Certainly. Thanks to your family members who kept me company last night.”
“Really? That is good to hear. Shall we move to the table?”
“Certainly.”
They moved to the dinner table, then he inquired.
“What of Mr. Israel and the young men?”
“They have gone to work and school.”
Mr. Morris responded while they locked eyes.
“I see. Once again, I appreciate you and your family for a wonderful time.”
“It is my pleasure. I appreciate your presence. My family is happy to have you.”
Now, Mr. Morris opened the dish of the egg curry masala gravy and the aroma saturated the dining room. He looked at the Professor's countenance and inquired.
“This is your favorite, I guess.”
At that, Prof. Green was thrilled. Howbeit, he stopped wondering how they got the information to relish the moment.
“You're right. It is a nice combination.”
He responded and ate. Now, Dora observed him and was joyous that his appetite had returned. She looked at her parents' in-law, and they signaled her to get more meal. Subsequently, Mr. Morris' phone peeped. He looked at the message and noticed that it was from his son.
'He just left for work. What could be the reason for the message?'
He thought. Then, he dropped his cutlery and picked the phone before he punched on the message.
(Hi, father. I just got a message from the Archbishop. She adjusted the Thanksgiving Day to Saturday. Will that be alright by you?)
He replied at once and wrote.
(We don't have anything to lose. Let her know that it okay by us. Thank you.)
(It is all right. How about our guest?)
(Our guest is fine. We are at the breakfast table.)
(That is good. Has he identified you?)
(Not yet.)
(I see. Why not reveal yourself to him?)
(I will, but not now.)
(Why? If I may ask?)
(I'm enjoying the suspense.)
(Seriously?)
(Yes. I will reveal myself to him in your presence, when everyone is around.)
(I got it. See you later.)
(Okay. I will inform everyone of the change of the Thanksgiving date.)
(It is all right.)
