The Return of a Kinsman 1
He put a call across to him, and he picked at once. Then, he hinted him on what he heard the citizens of Bricks Mont saying.
“I hope they will not begin to attack the citizens of Kent over there?”
“That is my fear, father.”
“Just be calm. I will get back to you in a short while.”
“All right, father.”
At Dover.
The Constable and his men were not resting, as they were working around the clock. He was reporting to the higher ups who were monitoring the situation. After he spoke with Mr. Gaius, the leader of the team, and broke the news, he patiently began to wait for another update. Although, the network was bad, and every so often he could not get across to Mr. Gaius.
At that time, he got a call from Mr. Arthur Bailey, and he picked immediately and showed concern.
“Hello, Sir. You should be on bed by now.”
Now, Mr. Arthur Bailey reasoned that the last time he spoke with him, he assured him that Mr. Stephen Bailey would not harm anyone because his men had their eyes on him. But the breaking news was that he injured someone. For that, he would not leave the matter completely in his care. Then, he responded.
“You are right, Constable. We are all stakeholders in the matters concerning our country.”
“You are right, Mr. Bailey.”
“Thank you, Constable. I have a story that may interest you.”
“OK. Let's hear it.”
Mr. Arthur Bailey narrated his son's story to the Constable and advised.
“If the matter is not properly handled, it may lead to chaos and endanger our citizens over there.”
Now, the Constable, who was not thinking in that direction, was awestruck. Endangering the lives of their citizens in Bricks Mont would be the height of it and may dent his work. Then he responded.
“I am not seeing it from that perspective. Thank you for calling my attention. I will revert.”
“Okay.”
Nevertheless, the Constable who must be on top of the situation gave Mr. Gaius a call immediately. When the call connected, he asked.
“What is the state of affairs?”
“We are at the Heathrow Airport. We just arrived.”
“Wow! This is good. Did you arrive with the suspect?”
“Yes boss. All the team members are with me. I sent a message to you before we boarded.”
“Welcome back. Let me check.”
He quickly checked his message box and discovered that Mr. Gaius message arrived a few minutes ago. That was when he was on call with Mr. Arthur Bailey. He hurriedly went through the message and was marveled.
“We underrated this criminal.”
He blurted when he saw the pictures of the passport of Mr. Stephen Bailey from different countries. Mr. Gaius had sent them to the Constable after they moved the victims to a nearby hospital. Before they left the Inn, he asked his men to search his room thoroughly, which they did and took along with them all that they discovered in the room. After he settled them in the hospital, he took time to scan through all Mr. Stephen Bailey's belongings and saw two other passports which were from different countries. He snapped them at once and forwarded to the Constable.
Nevertheless, that piece of information became strong evidence to disclaim Mr. Stephen Bailey as a citizen of Kent. The Constable reported to the higher ups and informed them of his plans. When he got the go ahead, he sent another breaking news to the Press for broadcast.
(Based on the items in possession of the suspect, we discovered that the notorious criminal is the citizen of many countries including Bricks Mont. We also gathered that he left Kent as a foreigner who was returning to his country. Meanwhile, the two citizens of Kent who he attacked are responding to treatment. We will give you more update as they unfold. Stay tuned.)
Now, the passports and his flight booking details were conspicuously displayed on the internet. In less than two hours, the local newspapers in Bricks Mont had it as their headlines and the local media houses were not left out.
At the Springfield Tourism and Resort Center.
Meanwhile, after Mr. Arthur Bailey's discussion with the Constable, who promised to revert, he gave his son a call and assured him that there was nothing to worry about. Nevertheless, Mr. Denise Bailey believed him and rested his head on his pillows. Afterwards, he slept off. He woke up after one hour thirty minutes and was happy that he was able to catch some sleep. Then, he walked to the washroom, eased himself and returned to the bed. He logged on to the internet and saw a different report about his uncle and smiled.
“The citizens of Bricks Mont would eat their words.”
He mumbled up and heaved a sigh of reassurance. Furthermore, he surfed the internet once more and checked on Daniel De Pianist Page.
“It is going on well. By Monday, we will start selling the tickets.”
He muttered and logged out. Now, he was famished and needed to have his breakfast.
“The breakfast must be ready by now.”
He concluded and began to walk to the parlor.
“Wifey.”
He called out before he stepped into the parlor. To his discomposure, his wife was not in the parlor. Now, he was transfixed by the shock in his heart. Then, he headed to Tim's room and knocked. He opened the door at once without waiting for a response, since he was aware that he hardly lock his door. He was dazed when he did not see Tim or his wife. Now, Mr. Denise Bailey was as confused as a chameleon that was stuck in a rainbow bag.
He looked at the dinner table and noticed that they have had their breakfast. He walked closer and saw his breakfast neatly covered with cling film. Furthermore, he felt the jug of hot water and discovered that it was still hot.
“It had not been long that they left the suite.”
He concluded.
“But, where would they have gone to?”
