The Secret 12
Meanwhile, Mr. Stephen Bailey who could not catch asleep due to the incident of the day was going through his phone to see if he could trace the where about of the wolves. Suddenly, Mrs. Nichole Bailey’s picture and the caricature husband popped up, and he became attracted to the picture. He tapped on the story and discovered that it was Lorene Walker who made the post. Then he mumbled.
“What is this lady up to?”
He went through the story and concluded with a sentence.
“Your stupidity has landed you into trouble.”
Then he commented.
(Stupid post.)
When Reuben Storm saw the post, he quickly gave her a call to advise her to delete the post at once, but she had switched off her phone.
“What a wrong move.”
He prayed silently that the trouble she had landed herself into would be minimal for her to be able to bear it before he returned to sleep.
Subsequently, Olivia waited for more comments, but none came. She looked at her husband and murmured.
“I wonder how he would react to such a post about his parents.”
So, she copied the post and deleted it at once from the internet.
At the Bailey Native Home.
After Mr. Arthur Bailey and his wife had their dinner, they returned to the room, chatted on general issues before they went to sleep. He was careful to keep the story of Louis and Olivia away from her, and she was also careful to keep Lorene Walker’s folly away from her husband. In the midnight, Nichole woke up and rested her head on her husband’s chest. He opened his eyes gradually and ran his hand through her hair before he kissed her temple and whispered.
“I love you, my sunshine.”
Then, Nichole raised her head to his lips and kissed him passionately before she assured him.
“Our love is made in heaven, nothing can separate us.”
“I know, sweetheart. Thank you for standing by me even when I was incautious.”
“I will always stand by you.”
Now, Mr. Arthur Bailey was horny just like his wife and were eager to devour each other. Before the break of the day, they had given each other the maximum satisfaction they desired, not minding whose ox was gored. That morning he left for work with some of his security guards, which he never knew that they were not necessary because the authority had their eyes on him. He got to his office to discover that Denise had arrived too in readiness to receive the two admirals from the two warring nations.
At Sevenoaks.
The presence of Max had helped Louis to stabilize easily. After they got off work the previous day, they went to the Golf Course to meet Dr. Kadon Quain, who was there to welcome them. They played with other golfers and thereafter, they visited the hotel to welcome Max colleagues who had arrived for the business deal. On Thursday, they met at the Bailey International Conglomerates and closed the deal, and everyone was happy. Subsequently, Max’s colleagues left, leaving him behind. Now, Max wished that the happiness he saw in Louis will be permanent, as he pleaded.
“Brother In-law.”
“Yes.”
“Do you really wish to return with your team tomorrow?”
“Certainly. Do you have any problem with that?”
“Well. Will it be wrong if you stay longer?”
“Wow! I would have loved to, but your sister and niece are missing me already.”
“It is all right. Then you are free to return with them”
However, Mr. Max Winston, who knew how lonely he must have been, calmed his nerves with his promise.
“What if I keep you company until Sunday morning, when I will return to Dover and leave from there.”
The exhilarated Louis, who could not hold back his joy, replied.
“That will be great.”
“Yes, but on one condition.”
Now, Louis’s countenance changed. He would not want a stringent condition that would have to do with asking him to get another woman. All the same, he smiled and asked.
“What is the condition? Let’s hear it.”
“You will have to inform your sister that you are the person holding me back.”
Louis smiled broadly and accepted.
“That would not be a problem. I will give her a call later and speak with my niece too.”
That is all right.”
Then, Louis declared.
“We will have dinner with your colleagues this evening.”
“Oh! That is good. I will inform them at once.”
Afterwards, he sent a message to Phil of the latest development, and he was pleased with it.
At the Bailey International Conglomerates
At 9 Am, the Admiral from Dunforn South and his Orderly were chauffer-driven into the Industrial Complex. Right from when they took off from the Tourist Center, he had been admiring the beautiful street, which had many beautiful structures. Above all, the peaceful atmosphere which was void of war was something to reckon with.
“I can’t remember the last time we had such freedom to move about freely in Dunforn South.”
He thought as moist gathered in his eyes. When he got off the vehicle, he admired the large complex which would have been demolished by their opponent if it were to be in his country. Now, the secretary ushered them into Mr. Denise Bailey’s office. Nevertheless, they staggered at the sight of the person who received them cheerfully.
“Welcome to my humble office, Admiral Charles Twist. I am much honored to see you.”
The gob smacked Admiral could not hide his surprise, but he reluctantly took Denise hand for a handshake and responded.
“I am pleased to see you too. I guess I am with Mr. Bailey.”
“Yes. You are with Mr. Denise Bailey, the ammunition supplier. Please take your seat.”
The flabbergasted fifty-five years old Admiral Twist took his seat while he looked at the portraits on the wall before he looked at his host who was smiling lavishly before he muttered.
‘He is of the same age with Jerry, my son who was killed at the beginning of the war.’
He became moody at once, but he cheered up and continue with his meeting.
“Welcome to my country once again. What do you care for, tea or coffee?”
The Admiral, who could not take his eyes off the portrait of Retired Armand Bailey, smiled coldly and responded.
“Tea for me.”
