The search for Mr. Louis Bailey 5

At Mr. Arthur Bailey's Office.
While he was patiently waiting for Mrs. Nichole Bailey's reply to his message, his secretary informed him that he had some guests.
'Why now?'
He thought before he responded.
“Let them in, please.”
From that moment, the visitors coming to congratulate him over the success of the son's marriage ceremony became endless.
“Congratulations, Mr. Bailey.”
“Thank you. I appreciate.”
He responded with divided as he took a quick peep at his phone at intervals while the guests come and leave. Soon, the message alert came.
(Arthur, I wish to let you know that I am glad that you are back. We cannot have dinner at my apartment tonight because I don't have food. Nichole.)
Mr. Arthur Bailey forgot that he had visitors before him and smiled before he let out.
“Silly girl. At least, her reply is better than not replying at all.”

"I beg your pardon, Mr. Bailey, are you talking to me?"
The guests in front of him asked. Mr. Bailey gave a fleeting response as he was replying to her message.
"No. I am not talking to you."
The guest noticed that his presence was no longer needed and excused himself.
"I will be on my way, Mr. Bailey."
"It's okay."
He responded without looking up from his phone. The guest left while he concluded the message he was drafting and sent.
(Nichole, can you come over to my apartment for dinner since you don't have food?)
He smiled smugly.
'She won't have any excuse this time.'
He thought but he was disappointed. Mrs Nichole Bailey's message came immediately.
(Arthur, I will not be hungry at dinner.)
Mr. Arthur Bailey was gobsmacked.
Three days later. At Mrs. Nichole Bailey's Apartment.
Mrs. Bailey had tried Louis Bailey's line all these days from time to time but it was the same story. She got back to work that day, laid on her bed and thought over the disappearance. She made up her mind to pay him a visit in Cairo. She made enquiries and got all the details she needed and did her booking. After that, she called her daughter, Freya and informed her when her line connected, she announced.
"Hello, Mom."
At that time, Freya was with her husband in the parlor. He husband looked at her with curiosity.
"Hello, Freya. I wish to inform you that I will be visiting Louis tomorrow. I can't stand these complications anymore."
Freya looked at her husband who could hear her discussion with and asked.
"It is okay, Mom. Have you booked your flight?"
"Yes, 8 am flight."
"It is all right. Will father take you to the airport or your driver?"
"My driver, see you later."
"Okay Mom. We will keep in touch."
When the call ended, Mr. Phil Anderson laughed softly and asked.
"Are you sure that father is aware of this trip?"
"I don't think so."
Mr. Phil Anderson looked at his wife critically and added.
"It is quite unusual. How can father stay back and Mom will go through the stress of looking for Louis alone?"
Freya, who was speechless merely looked at her husband.
The next Day At The Exhibition Arena in Cairo.
Mr. Louis Bailey and his team members were at the Exhibition Arena as usual. They were happy with their accomplishments so far. As usual, he appreciated the team members as a way if encouraging them.
"Good job. Keep it up."
"Thank you, boss."
"Good job to you boss. Your appreciation is inspiring."
The team members said one after the other and Mr. Louis Bailey was elated. At two o'clock after the team had returned from the lunch break, they got back to work oblivious to what was coming their way.
'Louis."
Louis Bailey looked up in bewilderment as he heard the familiar voice of his Mom. He was emotionally elated, considering the stress she must have gone through to come over to.Cairo in search of him. The other team members were surprised too. Nevertheless, he reciprocated the kind gesture as he walked briskly to her and gave her a hug.
"Mom, good to see you."
He greeted. After few seconds of hugging, he released her and Mrs. Bailey gave him a searching look. Since they were in the public, she controlled her emotions by fighting back the tears that were about to drop from her eyes. Mr. Louis Bailey did the same thing too. Mrs. Nichole Bailey responded.
"Good to see you too. How are you?"
"I'm fine Mom. How was your trip?"
"My trip was fine."
She responded as she looked at the staff members who fixed their gazes on her and she asked.
"How is the work going on?"
"Good day, Mrs. Bailey. Work is going on fine."
"Welcome to Cairo, Mrs. Bailey. Good to see you."
"Thank you. Good to see you too."
She responded cheerfully. Mr. Louis Bailey spoke at this point.
"You must be very tired, Mom. Come and have some rest."
He turned to the team members and excused himself.
"I will be back."
"All right, boss. See you later Mrs Bailey."
"See you later, my dear."
Mr. Louis Bailey walked her to his suite while the staff members looked on. Most of them did not know the differences between the children especially those that were employed few years ago. They had respect for Mrs. Nichole Bailey as the mother of their boss.
Mr. Louis Bailey walked with the Mom to his suite which can be traversed by trekking from the the Exhibition Arena. She was carrying a small briefcase which contained a set of clothes which she would use on her return back to Dover the next day as she planned and a purse.
"Can I help you with the briefcase, Mom?"
Mrs Nichole Bailey looked at his cheerful face which had concealed all his misery and accepted.
"Oh! Yes, you can. Thank you, dear."
She said as she handed over the briefcase to him. Then, they got to his suite and he announced.
