You Came Too Late 7
After Mr. Louis Bailey spoke with his father with Dr. Quain’s number on Wednesday and said, ‘I am sorry, father. I should have let you know’ and stopped half-way, he gave his father another call.
“Yes, father. I should have let you know that I was stressed out, and I was at the clinic. So, I switched off my phone.”
“That is not too good, Louis. Next time, always involve your family members before you embark on any medical issues. Did you get me?”
“I got you, father.”
Now, Mr. Louis Bailey noticed that he still remembered everything but does not think much about Olivia and was happy with that. He got to work for the first time after the supposed surgery on Friday and resumed his work. Miss Cassandra on the other hand never allowed their paths to cross.

After Mr. Denise Bailey bade the ebullient Tim good night, he joined his wife in the bedroom. To his amazement, he was euphoric. He had a strong sense of accomplishment, and he could not attribute the feeling to anything. He laid carefully on the bed to avoid disturbing his sleeping wife. Now, he rested his head on the headboard and reminisced over all that happened that evening. Then, he remembered his father-in-law’s comment.
(Please take your Angel home. She needs to rest.)
He smiled and looked at his wife and mumbled.
‘She is truly an Angel.’
Just like Tim, he did not wish to miss the only opportunity of making love to his wife in their room.
‘She had rested enough, so I will disturb her sleep.’
He thought.
Then, he pulled his wife's pointed nose and to his surprise, she was awake.
“Were you awake?”
She smiled and snuggled to his chest before he gave him a deep kiss and announced.
“I have been waiting for you.”
“Really?”
“Yes, my hero. I love you.”

They pleasured each other and went to sleep. In the morning, they woke up energized. Then, Denise placed the order for the breakfast.
“Would you love us to have our dinner in the suite or at the restaurant?”
“The restaurant. We will have our walk out a once.”
“That is good. We will also have a good view of the Resort Center.”
“Correct. Let us get ready.”
“I will. Excuse me please.”
Now, Mr. Denise Bailey walked out of the room to see his guest, who his wife was not aware of. When he got to his room, he tapped on the door and waited for his response.
‘I hope he would agree to wake up from their room?’
He thought as he waited. Then, he tapped again and waited.
“Yes. The door is not locked.”
Came Tim’s voice from the room. Mr. Denise Bailey turned the knob of the door and the door opened, and he got in. Now, Tim was sitting on the bed, then he greeted.
“Good morning, Uncle. How is my big cousin?”
“Good morning Tim. Your big cousin is fine. Did you sleep at all? Your eyes are swollen.”
He smiled and looked at Mr. Denise Bailey with guilt written all over his face. When he did not respond to his question, he gave him the message he had for him.
“Get ready, we are having our breakfast at the restaurant.”
“Wow! I will.”
He got up and walked to the washroom, and Denise walked back to his room. Afterwards, he came to the parlor with his wife to meet Tim waiting for them.
“What. Tim. What are you doing here?”
The astonished Olivia asked. Her husband chuckled and explained.
“He spent the night, in the Springfield Tourism and Resort Center. He doesn’t want to miss the only opportunity of spending the night in their room.”
Now, Tim smiled shyly and Olivia, who did not understand their joke, was puzzled. Then she asked.
“I hope Auntie Ann would not need you at home?”
“No, big cousin.”
Then Mr. Denise Bailey advised.
“Call your mom and inform her that you are not coming home this morning, but you will go to the registry from here.”
“All right, Uncle.”
He did and as Mr. Denise Bailey instructed him, and they began to walk to the restaurant. They discovered that the restaurant was not far away from the building, which would not give them the number of steps they needed for their walk out.
“All the same, it was better than not walking out of the suite.”
“You are right, dear.”
They had their breakfast joyously while Mr. Denise Bailey observed his little cousin in-law happily.
“How do you feel, Tim?”
“I feel good, Uncle.”
“I know, you will. At least you didn’t miss the only opportunity of having your breakfast in their restaurant.”
Now, Tim laughed. Then Olivia asked.
“Hubby, what do you mean by doing this and that in their room and restaurant?”
Mr. Denise Bailey took time to explain all that transpired between him and Tim after she went to bed. Olivia laughed and spewed her tea.
“Tim, why did you stress my husband?”
“I am sorry that I stressed him. But this was an opportunity.”
They laughed heartily. Mr. Denise Bailey was happy that he was with his wife’s relation, and they were catching fun.
“Anyway, we have made maximum use of the suite. Your Uncle’s money did not waste.”
“You are right, my Angel.”
They returned to the suite and Denise informed Tim.
“We are leaving by 9:30 Am. Did you get it?”
“Yes Uncle.”
Denise and Olivia walked to their room. They spoke with their parents both at the Missionary Center and at Kent. Afterwards, they began to get ready.

Mr. Stephen Bailey had a sleepless night as the thought of how Tim treated him the previous day would not leave his memory. As usual, he woke up to a lonely and fearful life. He had his breakfast and got ready to visit Ann and his son. Now, he walked out of his room and set out to get a cab.
