You Came Too Late 5
Suddenly, he noticed that he was beside him. Then, he held his hand and whispered.
“Uncle, I am assisting my big cousin with the Daniel De Pianist page, and we are not done. I wish to come along and complete the task.”
Although, he was whispering, he was loud enough for everyone to hear him, and they waited for Denise’s response. Then he gave a response that shocked Tim.
“Tim, why do you stress yourself with a long explanation? Just a few words like ‘Uncle, I want to tag along’ would have been enough. All the same, you are free to come along.”
Now, Tim became ashamed of himself as the family laughed at him. Then, he appreciated.
“Thank you, uncle.”
They got off the house and headed to the car. Then Mr. Denise Bailey asked.
“Father, mother. I hope you will be able to find your way back to the Missionary Center?”
“Don’t bother about us. We will be fine.”
“It is okay. See you tomorrow.”
“Good night.”
“Good night, mom, and father.”
Olivia greeted. Then, his parents responded in unison.
“Good night, his Angel.”
Now, Tim got into the passenger’s seat with excitement, while Mr. Denise Bailey and his wife took the back seat. To be certain that he was going to their hotel with them, he turned and appreciated again.
“Thank you, Uncle Denise.”
The couple smiled at his excitement, and Oliver teased.
“The appreciation is getting too much.”
“Where are we going, Mr. Bailey?”
Mr. Sean Finnegan inquired.
“We are returning to the Center.”
“It is all right.”
He turned on the ignition and the parents waved and bade them farewell.
“Don’t be late, Tim.”
“All right, mom.”
They drove off and after twenty minutes, they were at the Springfield Tourism and Resort Center. The baffled Tim could not believe his eyes. Now, he developed more respect for Mr. Denise Bailey for his humility. He thought they were staying in one of the smaller hotels around.
Subsequently, they got off when the driver parked at the vestibule and Mr. Denise Bailey appreciated.
“Thank you, Mr. Finnegan. I will leave for an event tomorrow by 9:30 Am. Please be punctual.”
“It is noted, Mr. Bailey.”
They got off the vehicle and Mr. Denise Bailey held his wife’s hand, and they began to walk to their room.
“Tim, here we are.”
He declared when he turned to the bewildered Tim, who was trying to catch a good view of the Resort Center. He smiled and appreciated again. Soon, they were in their suite.
“Make yourself comfortable, Tim.”
Mr. Denise Bailey informed him as he turned on the television in the parlor before he took his wife to the room.
“Thank you, Uncle.”
Now, Tim had the opportunity to admire the suite. He got to the window and had a good view of the Center.
“Wow! This is heaven on earth.”
If only he had seen Mr. Denise Bailey’s Tourist Center at the island in Dover, he would have known that that was a child’s play.
At the Rock Bay Inn
Mr. Stephen Bailey returned to his single room after he got off the cab dejectedly. He had been hoping that his reconciliation with his family would have been as simple as he planned. He laid down on the bed and his mind wandered around, especially on the troubles he had within the last few weeks. Furthermore, he thought of Mr. Arthur Bailey, who was just about three years older than he was, and his family.
“Arthur is a well-respected man in the Bailey’s family and in the society. What is the difference between us? He is just a few years older than I am.”
He reminisced over his rascal life as a young man. Then, he inhaled and exhaled and remembered.
“I know that she was not the only woman who had a child for me, but she was the only woman who wanted a more meaningful relationship and informed me of her pregnancy.”
After a few minutes, he concluded.
“I must clear my mess. I will return in the morning and plead. If my son stabs me with a knife, I will take it in my stride. After all, I brought this trouble upon myself.”
At this point, he noticed that his pillow had been drenched with tears. He dried his tears, got up and ordered for food.
At the Springfield Tourism and Resort Center
“Hubby, what do you think about my cousin?”
Olivia asked while her husband was helping her to undress.
“He is a nice chap. I already have a special affinity for him.”
Mr. Denise Bailey gave a sincere response. Then, Olivia, who wanted to get her husband clearly pointed out.
“You love him because he is related to me, am I right?”
He looked up from her sandals that he was trying to unbuckle, shrugged his shoulders and pouted his lips before he responded.
“Well, you may be right. But I may still like him if I had met him elsewhere.”
“Yes, you may still like him because my spirit goes everywhere with you.”
“It is all right. I give up. I love him because he is related to my Angel.”
They laughed raucously because they remembered her father’s joke when he said, ‘please take your Angel home. She needs to rest’.
“Father is a funny man.”
“Yes. He does not say much, but anything he says is funny.”
“I have noticed that.”
Afterwards, they changed into simpler wears and joined Tim, who had made up his mind to sleep over in the spare room.
“Tim, how are you?”
Denise inquired as he took his sea in the parlor. Tim, who was watching the television, jolted when he heard his voice and responded.
“I am good, uncle.”
Now, Olivia who was sitting beside her husband had logged into the Daniel De Pianist page and screamed softly. The husband noticed it and asked.
“What is it?”
“Two million views in less than an hour.”
“That is a big one.”
Mr. Denise Bailey, who tried to log into the page, remarked. Then, Tim pointed out.
