Chapter 104: We Love Each Other
Isabelle was shocked, looking at Bryan.
She picked up on Bryan's implication that he had set a trap for Henry on his way here.
Henry was also surprised.

Bryan smiled, "What do you think? I sent Nathan to test your skills, not expecting him to keep it secret.
If you could handle him and his twenty men, you could find out who sent him.
I never intended to keep it from you.
Sit down. Since you made it here, you have the right to negotiate with me. I'm curious what you want from me."
Isabelle then realized Henry had dealt with Nathan and his men downstairs.
She knew Nathan and the top gang leaders in Harbor Springs, thanks to Sean.
She felt guilty looking at Henry, thinking: I didn't mean to betray you!
Bryan's calm demeanor impressed Henry: This guy is not only confident but also quite composed.

Henry sat across from Bryan and asked, "Wasn't it you who invited me here? Shouldn't I be asking you what you want from me?"

Henry had hoped Isabelle would sit next to him, even if she moved a chair.
People's subconscious actions often reveal their true feelings.
Isabelle's seemingly casual move likely showed that Bryan mattered more to her than Henry.
Bryan smiled and turned to Henry, "My parents and I have irreconcilable differences.
They've been pushing me to marry a state leader's daughter.
In this situation, do you think they would accept Isabelle?
