Chapter 40: Are You Seeking Death?
Sean's horse, taking care of Henry at night, what does this mean? Brandon and the others were puzzled, but it was not convenient to ask more, so they had to look at Henry.
Henry nodded at them, meaning for them to leave. With a beauty accompanying him, anyone with a little brain wouldn't want to be a third wheel.
The brothers immediately got up and bid farewell to Henry. Brandon even gave his phone number to Isabelle, telling her to call anytime if there was something at night, and he would come right away.
Isabelle nodded. When they were leaving, Jonathan asked Brandon, "Didn't you say Henry is not a local? And he just came out of the hospital. How does he know Sean's woman, and their relationship seems unusual?"
"Who knows? We'll ask later." Brandon turned and asked, "By the way, guys, this brother Henry is quite a character. What he says, he will definitely do. Once he's out of the hospital, there will be a big storm."
"Think about it, dare you follow him?" The brothers all expressed their support. "We don't even need to ask if we dare or not. We've all been suffocating tonight. If we don't let out this anger, are we still men?"
Brandon said, "Since that's the case, from now on, let's call him Tiger Brother. Although he's young, he's not much younger than us. Since we recognize him as the boss, let's lift him up."
Jonathan said, "Do we even need to say that? Even if we had the same idea as him just now, we couldn't have said it like he did. Look at the way he's been beaten. Did you notice his eyes? I, Jonathan, have never submitted to anyone. I acknowledge this Tiger Brother!"
The other brothers immediately agreed. It was necessary. Regardless of the future outcome, being able to recognize such a leader, someone who dares to fight with Charles, was exhilarating to think about.
After Brandon and the others left, Isabelle stood by the bed, quietly watching Henry. After a while, she suddenly burst into laughter, shaking her head continuously.
"Henry, you have your days too, don't you think you're so great?" she said, sitting next to Henry and even lightly slapping his face with her small hand.
The slap was indeed light, but it really hurt Henry!
"Hiss..." Henry grimaced, looking at her, smelling the fragrance emanating from her. He thought about a few hours ago when he had not only looked at her all over but also touched her. He couldn't stay angry.
Moreover, he could tell that Isabelle had no malicious intent.
"Damn it," Isabelle gritted her teeth and stared at Henry. "If I had known you would be taught a lesson, I wouldn't have gone to find that heartless person, and I wouldn't have been humiliated by that bitch. I was so angry that I went to drink, almost tarnishing my innocence."
"Not to mention, you added insult to injury. You saw what you shouldn't have seen on my body, and you touched what you shouldn't have touched. Don't think that you saved me, you're the one who harmed me. This is called karma. Now it's your turn, right?"
"Hmph!" After speaking, Isabelle suddenly looked around as if searching for something. When she found nothing, she took off her high heels, holding the heel in her hand, ready to slap Henry's face with the sole.
Henry was taken aback and said in a deep voice, "Don't go too far. For any man, being slapped in the face with a woman's shoe sole is a great humiliation."
Isabelle was startled, then laughed and said, "You little brat, why do you have so many rules? What's wrong with a woman's shoe sole? Most men would beg for mine. Are you really going to be picky here?"
With that, she raised the shoe to strike.
Henry glared at her and involuntarily clenched his fist.
Isabelle's heart skipped a beat!
She had experienced Henry's strength before, even in his current injured state, she didn't dare to be too presumptuous.
"If you don't want to be slapped, call me 'sister' and let me vent my frustration!"
Henry was speechless. Was she here for revenge or to flirt?
Especially with Isabelle leaning forward, although her chest was flat, there was still a slight contour.
The snow-white neck and the top of her chest were now in front of Henry.
The fragrance from her body after bathing constantly teased his senses, causing a reaction in Henry's body.
Isabelle leaned forward again and threatened, "Are you going to call me or not?"
Henry shook his head and helplessly shouted, "Sister!"
"Louder!"
"Sister!"
"That's more like it." Isabelle threw her shoe to the ground. "Don't think I'm taking advantage of you. I should be older than you. After all, I'm a married woman... No, I'm a pure little girl. You looked at me and touched me. If there's no explanation, I won't have face to get married in the future. If you call me sister, I'll just treat you as an ignorant little brother. At least I can justify it to myself, right?"
If he had already called her sister, what else was there to argue about?
Henry just felt that her behavior was too naive and childish, but within that naivety and childishness, there was still a hint of loveliness.
"By the way, little brat, what year were you born?"
When Henry answered, they realized they were the same age, with Henry being one month older than Isabelle.
Isabelle chuckled, "Sorry for taking advantage of you for a month. No, I misspoke again. After being touched by you for so long, it's not worth it for just a month!"
Henry couldn't help but laugh at her teasing, especially after hanging the IV drip for so long, he suddenly needed to pee.
He shifted his body, but the pain made him grimace.
"What's wrong, what's wrong?" Isabelle stood up and asked, "Do you want to fight?"
Henry originally wanted to go to the bathroom by himself, but it seemed impossible now. He had to say, "I want to ring the bell to call the nurse."
Isabelle looked at the still half-full IV drip, puzzled, and asked, "Why?"
"I want to use the restroom."
