Chapter 164: Sebastian's Son

Wyatt said, "Let's get you to the hospital first!"
He glanced at Xavier, who immediately called for an ambulance.
The ambulance arrived quickly, and Ryan was taken away. Xavier asked, "Wyatt, should we prepare?"
Wyatt asked back, "Prepare for what? Do you think he really wants Henry dead? If he did, he'd have his father ask me.
Even if his father were still in power, he wouldn't risk a murder case.
He said that just to save face in front of us. Don't take it seriously."
Xavier said, "Regardless, it happened in our parking lot. It doesn't look good for us. Henry is too arrogant. We can't just let it slide."
Wyatt warned, "Remember, you can deal with anyone else, but don't mess with Henry.
If any of you or the boys have a conflict with him, you must call me.
Understood?"
"Understood." Xavier then asked, "But Wyatt, it seems like you're wary of him. Does he have some special background?"
Wyatt patted Xavier's shoulder, "I never hide anything from you, but don't ask about Henry.
One word: don't provoke him or his men."
With that, Wyatt returned to his office and called Tristan.
"Brother," Tristan asked, "what's up?"
Wyatt asked, "You haven't met Henry, have you?"
"No, why?"
Wyatt chuckled, "No wonder Samuel is hiding. He's avoiding him!"
"Hiding?" Tristan asked, "You mean he's hiding from Henry?"
Wyatt said, "If you saw Henry, you'd understand."
"Brother," Tristan said, "stop beating around the bush. I'm impatient. Just tell me what's going on."
Wyatt said, "He's likely Sebastian's son."
"Sebastian?" Tristan was puzzled, then his eyes widened, "You mean Sebastian Sebastian?"
"Who else?"
"Damn!" Tristan exclaimed, "So he's here for revenge?"
"Revenge for what?" Wyatt said, "Sebastian died before he got into trouble. Willow is a nun in Convent and never left Harbor Springs.
Henry speaks with a foreign accent, likely here to develop in Harbor Springs.
Besides, Cole hasn't made a move. What are you afraid of?"
Tristan explained, "I'm not scared, just surprised. But if he's not here for the past, why is Samuel hiding?"
Wyatt said, "The kid is ruthless, inheriting Sebastian's genes. They look identical and have the same temperament.
Despite his youth, he's more cunning than Sebastian was.
He just crippled Ryan in my parking lot but was very low-key in the private room, so much so that Ryan didn't take him seriously."
"Wow," Tristan said, "he's just like his father!"
Wyatt said, "Samuel must not have seen him before acting. After meeting him, he was probably scared stiff, ignoring his nephew and Nathan in the hospital.
I think you should learn from him."
"Me?"
Wyatt explained, "Yes, you sent fighters to provoke him. With his temperament, he won't let it slide. He's waiting for you to make a move.
If there's no news for a while, he'll come after you.
I sat face-to-face with him today. If Sebastian's eyes were full of killing intent, Henry's whole body exudes it.
Don't say I didn't warn you. Unless he comes to me, don't expect me to help if he finds you or Cole.
Honestly, we're old. I bet even Charles, Xavier, Nathan, and Gavin combined aren't his match.
So even if I help, it won't matter!"
Tristan shuddered.
Wyatt's ruthlessness was second only to Henry's father, Sebastian, in Harbor Springs. If he feared Henry, then Henry was truly formidable.
But Tristan thought of his top fighter, Gavin, heading to Harbor Springs with three guns.
Though he was involved in the past, Henry likely didn't know the truth and would first target Cole.
He could follow Wyatt's advice and lay low like Samuel.
But he figured Henry didn't know the past, so they weren't mortal enemies. Even if they met, Henry wouldn't kill him.
He could take advantage of Henry's complacency and have Gavin strike first.
Besides, he had already provoked Henry and coveted the Violet Bar's profits. If he eliminated Henry, the bar would be his cash cow.
If he got rid of Henry, Cole would surely reward him.
With Wyatt hiding, if he took out Henry, his reputation would soar.
He could surpass Wyatt in the gang hierarchy.
With this in mind, he brushed off Wyatt's warning and called Gavin, urging him to return as soon as possible.
Henry walked through the hotel lobby and out the door. Ella, parked in front, rolled down her window and called, "Hey!"
Seeing Ella, Henry walked over and asked, "Ella, what are you doing here?"
Ella nodded towards the car, "Get in."
Henry thought Ruby might have arrived at the café and didn't want to keep her waiting.
Not knowing why Ella wanted to talk, but seeing her invite him into the car, Henry guessed it wasn't a quick chat.
"Ella," Henry said, "Can we talk here? If it's not urgent, can I call you later? I have something urgent now."
Ella asked, "Where are you going?"
"To the bar."
"Okay, I'll drive you!"
