Chapter 107: Knows Martial Arts

Henry looked away, impatiently asking, "What do you want?"

Ella tilted her head, "Get in the car."

"Why should I?" Henry asked.

Ella turned back, "Do you want to come with me, or should I cuff you?"

Henry had been handcuffed and taken away in front of the entire village. Although he hadn't felt much at the time, he later realized it was the most humiliating moment of his life. In prison, he vowed to return to the village with dignity, making those who despised and gossiped about him see him in a new light.

Although the café was nearly empty, with only a few waitstaff, being handcuffed by Ella would still be embarrassing.

He didn't know Ella well, but from their encounters, he found her unreasonable. Arguing with her might actually result in her using handcuffs.

Henry had no choice but to walk out with his head held high.

Bryan didn't go far after leaving. He parked his car across the street, confusing Isabelle. He smiled and explained, "I'm worried about my sister's safety."

Isabelle smiled, "Don't worry. Henry may have just been released from prison and fights fiercely, but he has principles. Otherwise, he wouldn't have saved me, his neighbor who had a falling out with his sister-in-law."

Bryan smiled, looking at Isabelle, "Do you like him?"

Isabelle blushed, "Not exactly. I just appreciate his individuality and am grateful he saved me. To be precise, I have a good impression of him."

"If I hadn't clarified things today, would you have planned to be with him?"

Isabelle blushed again, "Not really. Out of gratitude, I might have, but considering my parents and friends, I wouldn't. I'm a college graduate, and he's a former convict. I can't bear the pressure from family and society."

Ella drove away, and Bryan followed, noticing she wasn't heading to the police station or a nearby precinct. After passing through the bustling streets, Ella parked at a lakeside lot in Harbor Springs.

Bryan, driving, was puzzled, muttering, "What's this woman doing?"

"What's wrong?" Isabelle asked.

Bryan didn't answer, driving towards Isabelle's home.

Isabelle added, "Your sister's choice is correct. Parking at the lakeside lot, surrounded by people, ensures her safety."

Bryan didn't respond, feeling that Ella had a special interest in Henry and suspecting something might happen between them. Although Henry's presence in the private room had intimidated Bryan, as Isabelle said, Henry was a former convict, someone even Isabelle looked down on. If he suddenly became his sister's boyfriend or even brother-in-law, it would be laughable.

But this concern couldn't be shared with Isabelle.

Seeing Ella park by the lake, Henry was also puzzled. She had threatened to cuff him, yet now they were in such a romantic spot?

After pulling the handbrake, Ella turned to Henry, very seriously saying, "Raise your hands!"

Henry, confused, raised one arm.

"Both hands, behind your head!"

Henry realized she was going to search him, glad he had given the Desert Eagle to Jonathan.

With his hands behind his head, he asked, "What are you doing?"

Ella ignored him, reaching to pat him down, her hands moving around his waist and belt.

As she moved, her face and neck, exuding a faint fragrance, were close to Henry's chest. Her skin was pale, and Henry felt an urge to bite her.

Ella's body seemed more mature than Isabelle's but less so than Emily's. Her chest was similarly in between, more sensual than Isabelle's but not as full as Emily's.

Henry thought: If I could have all three women, my life would be complete!

Of course, he knew he was dreaming. But if Ella could be involved with rich kids like Bryan and scum like Erick, why couldn't he try?

"Is this harassment?" Henry teased.

Ella, finding no gun, glared at him, "Harass your head! Kid, do you even know what harassment is?"

Being called a kid was another blow to Henry's ego. He rolled his eyes at the windshield.

"Where's the gun?" Ella asked.

"What gun?" Henry retorted.

"You know," Ella stared at him.

Henry knew she meant the handgun but deliberately glanced down at his belly.

Ella blushed, then slapped him hard across the face.

What the hell! She hit me just like that?

Henry, unprepared and shocked, took the slap fully. It was hard and painful.

Infuriated, he yelled, "What kind of lady cop are you, flirting with every man?"

"Die!" Ella, a genuine virgin and beautiful cop, couldn't stand being insulted by an ex-convict. She swung her hand, aiming at Henry's throat.

Damn, she's trying to kill me?

Henry blocked her hand, and Ella, using the momentum, elbowed towards his jaw.

She's a martial artist?

Henry didn't dodge, lifting his elbow to deflect hers upward.

Erick had said Henry was highly skilled, able to take on several thugs. Ella, not believing it, wanted to test Henry's abilities. The initial slap made her underestimate him. But her next two close-range attacks were effortlessly neutralized by Henry.

Ella, excited, swung her other fist, using her body's momentum to strike Henry's chest.
