Chapter 117: Completely Convinced
Everyone present instinctively took a step back!
The more timid suppliers and a few female bosses immediately dropped to the ground in fear.
A supplier near the door was about to slip away, but Henry's glare made him tremble and freeze in place.
"Ah—" The boss who had been shot in the leg screamed in agony after collapsing to the floor. He never dreamed Henry would fire without a word.
Hearing the gunshot and his scream, Quentin, who was sitting on the ground, had initially planned to confront Henry once he recovered. Now, he didn't dare move an inch.
He finally understood why Erick had handed over the entire bar to Henry without a word, and why Charles' shares were also taken by Henry.
Where did this Henry come from? This guy is ruthless, daring to fire a gun in front of so many people!
Quentin suddenly felt lucky he hadn't stood up to confront Henry immediately; otherwise, the bullet would have been in him.
But he also thought the show was just beginning!
Because the person Henry had shot was Zachary, the nephew of Samuel, one of Harbor Springs' three gang leaders. Zachary controlled the alcohol supplies for several large hotels and entertainment venues in Harbor Springs, making it impossible for others to enter the market.
Zachary hadn't come alone; he had brought four or five thugs with him.
Seeing him injured, the thugs, though fearful of Henry, still went over to help him up.
"Good," Zachary said through gritted teeth, "you've got guts. We'll see about this!"
Brandon whispered to Henry that Zachary was Samuel's nephew and that Samuel was one of Harbor Springs' three gang leaders.
Jonathan added, "Nathan is also one of Samuel's men."
Although they spoke in low voices, it was so quiet in the room that everyone heard them clearly.
All eyes turned to Henry again: He wasn't afraid of the police, but what about Samuel, the boss of Harbor Springs?
Zachary, about to leave with his men, stopped to see how Henry would react.
Henry stood up from the boss's chair without a word, walked over to Zachary, and slowly pointed the Desert Eagle at Zachary's forehead, saying, "Pay the breach of contract fee and penalty and leave!"
Henry didn't bother to say the rest, like "You can't leave without paying" or "I'll kill you if you don't pay." But everyone knew that was the terrifying part about Henry.
Seeing his demeanor, everyone knew that if Zachary dared to make a sound, Henry would actually fire.
Does he not even care about Samuel?
Everyone could only explain it to themselves: maybe as an outsider, he didn't know how powerful Samuel was.
Zachary's men were completely intimidated by Henry, standing there not daring to make a sound.
Seeing Henry's cold, icy gaze, Zachary knew that if he dared to refuse, Henry would definitely fire.
"Accountant Li, how much do I owe?" he asked Vanessa.
Everyone knew from his question that he had given in. They assumed he would bring Samuel for revenge later, and it would be a big show to watch.
Some even secretly sneered, thinking that once Zachary left, who knew what would happen.
Unexpectedly, Henry suddenly struck Zachary's neck with the gun handle, causing him to open his mouth in pain without a sound.
Zachary looked at Henry in confusion, not understanding why he was hit.
Henry coldly said, "She is not Accountant Li, she is Vanessa!"
Oh my god!
It's just a title!
In private companies, titles mean nothing!
Just like Preston, who was a director yesterday and got kicked out today!
To beat Zachary over this, especially knowing he was Samuel's nephew, left everyone dumbfounded.
Vanessa didn't expect Zachary to get hit just for calling her by the wrong title. She mistakenly thought Henry was trying to impress her!
Zachary never thought Henry would hit him over this, and seeing the killing intent in Henry's eyes, he knew he had to correct himself.
"Vanessa," Zachary asked submissively, "how much do I owe in total?"
Vanessa, snapping out of her daze, said, "I haven't calculated it yet."
Zachary looked at Henry, and Henry hit him on the other side of his neck with the gun handle, causing him to kneel in pain.
What the hell? It's your accountant who hasn't calculated it; how is that my fault?
"Vanessa," Zachary pleaded, "please calculate it quickly!"
Taking this opportunity, Quentin, who was sitting on the ground, tried to get up and sneak out. Henry, still pointing the Desert Eagle at Zachary's forehead, suddenly glanced at Quentin with piercing eyes.
Quentin shuddered and blurted out, "I didn't move!"
Seeing Henry still staring at him, Quentin quickly shouted, "Vanessa, calculate how much I owe too!"
Seeing this, the others also asked Vanessa to calculate their dues.
It was clear that Henry had completely intimidated them.
After Vanessa calculated Zachary's amount, he immediately took out his phone and transferred the money to the bar's account, then handed his phone to Henry, "Look, I've transferred it."
Henry didn't look at his phone but said expressionlessly, "First, entering this office without permission means you should prepare to treat your other leg. Understand?"
Zachary quickly nodded, "Understood!"
"Second, from today, your alcohol is banned from my venue. Understand?"
"Understood!"
"Third, tell Samuel that I crippled Nathan's leg this morning and now yours. If he dares to come after me, he should prepare to lose both his legs!"
Oh my god!
Hearing that Henry had crippled Nathan's leg this morning, everyone shivered.
They had thought Henry didn't know who Samuel and Nathan were, but he had crippled Nathan and now threatened Samuel.
Zachary couldn't believe his ears. He didn't know about Nathan's injury, but Henry's demeanor showed he wasn't lying, leaving Zachary speechless.
Henry tapped Zachary's forehead with the Desert Eagle, making him nod repeatedly, "I heard you, I heard you."
Henry continued, "Clean up the blood on the floor!"
Zachary quickly used his sleeve to wipe his blood off the floor.
Henry said, "Everyone who entered this office without permission, crawl out!"
"I'll crawl, I'll crawl!"
As long as he could leave Henry's sight, Zachary would do anything!
He turned and started crawling out.
Henry then looked at Zachary's men, who shivered and reluctantly crawled out.
When Henry's gaze swept over the others, especially the two thugs who had been kicked and spat blood, they led the way crawling out.
The other suppliers, after transferring their money, didn't even dare look at Henry and crawled out.
Quentin, after paying, glanced at Henry, seeing him expressionless. He crawled out while watching Henry from the corner of his eye.
