Chapter 127: Don't Panic, There's Still a Chance

Seeing Henry not catching up, the car, under Erick's directions, made several turns and completely escaped danger. Erick thought about how close they had come to being caught by Henry. If Henry had seen him in the car, no one could have saved him.

"Samuel," Erick said, "I told you thirty men weren't enough to handle Henry. He even has a gun, and he didn't even need it today. You need to think of another way. Gather Tristan and Wyatt to deal with him together."

Erick didn't realize that Samuel was already scared out of his wits by Henry. Seeing Samuel sitting silently, he assumed Samuel was formulating a new plan.

Erick continued, "I know you all are top dogs and don't want to ask each other for help first. But Henry is tough. He took over my bar and hurt Nathan and Zachary. He's openly challenging you. He must know you sent those men. Now's not the time to hesitate."

Samuel nodded, "Got it. You can get out here. I'll go find them alone."

"Alright." Erick quickly got out and hailed a taxi.

Samuel had the driver take him home, then told his wife they were going to Ninth City to see their daughter. They left Harbor Springs that night.

Henry was focused on Samuel's car when another car sped towards him. It was a red sports car with the license plate Federal A9, driven by Aurora.

Aurora always drove fast and flashy, with the top down during the day. She was listening to music when she suddenly saw a dark figure in front of her. She slammed on the brakes, the screech echoing down the street.

At the last moment, Henry leaped into the passenger seat. Aurora, terrified, turned to see Henry's face and was even more shocked.

Her two shocks happened so quickly that Henry thought she was only surprised once.

"Sorry!" Henry apologized, smiling awkwardly, worried he had scared her.

Aurora stared at him, realizing he wasn't after her, and forced a smile, "It's okay. Are you alright?"

Henry shook his head, "I'm fine. Sorry, I was in a hurry and didn't see your car."

With that, Henry got out.

"What's your name?" Aurora asked.

"Henry!"

Heavens!

Aurora was stunned. Watching Henry leave, she felt a chill. Not only was Henry dangerous, but he had already targeted her daughter.

Aurora quickly drove away, parking at a supermarket. She grabbed her phone and called Ella, "Ella, stay away from Henry. Don't get involved with him!"

Ella was puzzled. Did Bryan tell her something, or had she met Henry? She could tell Aurora was outside. Before she could ask, Aurora hung up, which was strange. Normally, Aurora would chat endlessly, and Ella was usually the one to end the call. Why had her mother hung up first?

Ella tried calling back, but Aurora was on another call. Aurora realized she needed to talk to her husband first and hung up on Ella.

Aurora called Cole, "Cole, something terrible has happened!"

Cole frowned, "Can you not be so dramatic? What's the big deal now?"

"Sebastian's bastard is back!"

"Sebastian?" Cole asked, confused. "Which Sebastian?"

"Are you senile? Your older brother Sebastian, who was notorious in Harbor Springs!"

Cole choked on his cigarette, coughing. When he recovered, he asked, "He has a son?"

Aurora slapped her forehead, "I was so scared I forgot. Cole, we've been tricked by Willow! The child I gave away wasn't yours; he was Sebastian's! I saw him today. He looks just like Sebastian!"

"Damn!" Cole said. "You gave him away? You told me he was stolen from the hospital! Aurora, you've lied to me for over twenty years?"

"What's the point of that now? The fact is, he wasn't your child!"

Cole thought about it. If the child wasn't his, so be it.

"I don't get it," Cole said. "He was a baby when you gave him away. How would he remember anything? Maybe he's just here to work and live. Why are you so scared?"

Aurora was exasperated, "Do you think I'm that easily rattled? The problem is, he's already making his move!"

Cole's expression darkened, "What did he do to you, or what did he say?"

Aurora shook her head, "He didn't do anything or say anything. He was very polite, like he was looking at his own mother."

"Then what are you afraid of?"

"Do you know what his name is now?"

"What?"

"Henry!"

Cole didn't react at first, but when he remembered Bryan saying Ella's boyfriend was named Henry, he broke into a cold sweat!

He never believed in coincidences. If Henry was indeed Aurora's son and Sebastian's child, then his relationship with Ella couldn't be a coincidence.

Aurora continued, "I just called Ella, but I thought I should talk to you first. I told her to cut ties with Henry and hung up. She called back just now."

Cole said, "We'll deal with it as it comes. If it's meant to be, we can't avoid it. Don't say anything more to Ella. Let her continue seeing Henry."

Aurora was stunned, "What do you mean?"

Cole asked, "What do you think?"
