Chapter 202: He Will Call the Police

Emily was completely stunned!

All her life, people had always catered to her; no one had ever spoken to her like this. Except for Henry, no one had ever said such things to her. When she first met Henry in the federal prison, she had gone through a lot. Over time, despite the ups and downs between them, Emily had even taken a beating for Henry. When Henry needed it most, she unhesitatingly gave him all her savings.

The Violet Bar was currently the only place under Henry's control that could make money, and now she was the one collecting the earnings, with the account in her name. Coupled with their ambiguous interactions, Emily thought she could completely control Henry. Although she knew Henry could be ruthless, she believed that was towards others and that he would never be like that with her.

When she called Henry just now, her feelings were exactly as Henry had imagined. Emily didn't see herself as a sister-in-law talking to her brother-in-law. In her mind, Henry was already a special and sensitive existence, and their relationship was maintained by an indescribable connection. Because of this, Emily grew increasingly disgusted with Andrew. Although she hadn't yet seen herself as Henry's woman, she no longer recognized Andrew as her husband. While divorce hadn't yet crossed her mind, it was only a matter of time.

In her current state, regardless of Henry's presence or the potential for a future relationship with him, she couldn't continue living under the same roof as Andrew. Even today, while she seemed to be acting as Isabelle's spokesperson, her attitude towards Henry hadn't changed. Because of this, she saw this place as her home, or at least the home of a man she liked, even before entering.

Upon seeing Henry, her first action was to tell him to register his car with the property management for easier access in the future. Once inside, she immediately tidied up the place, treating it as her own home, even though it was rented.

Even now, she was giving Henry an opportunity. The more she talked, the more she got into it, not planning to leave or at least not immediately. If she were truly angry, she wouldn't have so much to say.

But what she never expected was that, just as she felt she was furthering her relationship with Henry, he suddenly turned on her, telling her to "get out" several times in a row. This wasn't a joke or a fit of anger between friends.

For a woman, being told to get out by a man, especially one she liked, was more hurtful than being called a whore. Henry had both called her a whore and told her to get out, wounding her pride deeply. Tears welled up in her eyes, and she turned away, tears streaming down her face.

Henry was shocked. He had spoken in a moment of anger, feeling irritated by Emily's questioning, which he couldn't answer. So, he lashed out in frustration. Seeing Emily leave in tears, his heart shattered. Especially when he saw her eyes blurred with tears, struggling to find the doorknob, his heart ached.

Henry immediately rushed over. Emily thought he was coming to help her open the door, possibly even push her out and slam the door shut. She wished she could disappear.

But to her surprise, Henry grabbed her, pulled her close, and kissed her passionately.

Oh my God!

From Henry's breathless, fervent kisses, Emily truly understood the meaning of the words "crazy" and "insane."

Henry was truly crazy!

That was Emily's first thought. Besides his wild kisses, his hands roamed under her clothes, exploring her body. Emily had never experienced such intensity and passion. She felt weak, almost collapsing, but Henry held her tightly, making it hard for her to breathe.

After what felt like an eternity, Henry finally let go. Emily seemed to regain her senses, standing there awkwardly for a moment before saying, "It's late, I need to go back."

Henry stared at her for a while, then mustered the courage to say, "Why don't you stay here tonight?"

Emily shivered, then shook her head, "I need to go back." She reached for the door.

At that moment, her phone rang. Seeing it was Andrew, she was about to answer when Henry kissed her again. The phone rang three times, but Henry didn't let go, clearly not wanting her to answer.

Then Henry's phone rang. He assumed it was Andrew and didn't plan to answer. But when it rang a fifth time, he worried it might be something urgent from the bar. Still holding Emily, he picked her up and walked to the sofa. Emily had thrown his phone there earlier.

As he carried her, Henry realized Emily's body fit perfectly in his arms. He had carried Isabelle and Ruby before, but they felt too light, almost like carrying nothing. Emily's curves matched his arms perfectly, and her weight was just right. He felt she was made for him.

It was Emily's first time being carried by a man, and it excited her even more than it did Henry. Andrew had never carried her, partly because he couldn't, and partly because he never thought to. Being carried by Henry felt magical and thrilling to Emily.

Seeing Andrew's name, Henry didn't plan to answer. Emily said, "Answer it, or he might call the police."

Henry sat on the sofa, holding Emily in his lap, then picked up the phone. Emily didn't get off his lap. Seeing he had only one free hand, she helped him answer the call.
