Chapter 11 Pure Accident.

Henry understood that when Emily mentioned Andrew being bullied, it was probably just like what she said about Isabelle bullying him, all trivial matters that didn't amount to much of a grudge.

However, even so, he had to make a trip to the school.

One reason was to let Andrew's colleagues know that he had a criminal brother, so they better treat Andrew with some respect in the future.

The second reason was that Andrew was so honest, and Emily was so beautiful. Would someone have ill intentions towards Emily?

Or perhaps Emily was being bullied at school, and she couldn't even bring herself to tell Andrew because he was too timid?

The third reason was that he wanted to take this opportunity to make Emily completely submit to him, so she would never dare to look down on Andrew again.

If someone bullied or even tried to seduce her, she would also think of Andrew, her fearless and protective brother.

This way, Emily could hold her head high in front of others, and when she ever thought of betraying Andrew, she would have to think twice.

Lastly, there was one more thing. In fact, Henry didn't want to leave, at least not so soon.

Partly because of Emily.

And the other half was for Isabelle.

These two women were too beautiful, beautiful enough to give Henry enough reason to hold onto an unrealistic fantasy about them.

"Don't say that," Henry said, "You know my personality. If I say something, I have to follow through with it!"

At that moment, Emily brought out two dishes from the kitchen, her face expressionless, and said, "Andrew, Henry, let's eat."

After speaking, she turned around to prepare the rice again.

Both Andrew and Henry noticed Emily's tone and expression, as if the previous uneasiness and fear had disappeared, as if nothing had happened.

What was going on?

After a while, Emily brought the food to the table again and invited both of them to eat. Her complexion had improved significantly.

The dining table was set for a Western meal, with enough seats for six when fully opened and a square table when the sides were closed.

Andrew and Henry sat facing each other, with Emily in between them.

After taking a few bites, Andrew couldn't help but say to Henry, "Brother, I think after we finish eating, I'll drive you back, alright?"

"What's the rush?" Emily suddenly said, "Let Henry stay for the night."

Henry, who was eating with his head down, was taken aback, but Andrew desperately gestured at Emily.

Ignoring Andrew's signals, Emily said to Henry, "Henry, it's Sunday today, and you won't find anyone at school. If you want to go, come with us tomorrow when we go to work!"

"Alright!"

Henry couldn't figure out why Emily suddenly changed, but he agreed promptly.

Andrew was puzzled, not knowing what Emily was up to. He stared at her without blinking.

Emily glared at him and said, "What are you looking at? Keep eating!"

Andrew instinctively picked up his chopsticks.

Unable to bear it, Henry asked Emily coldly, "Can you be nicer to him?"

Andrew was startled and quickly put on a smile, saying, "Henry, my wife and I often banter like this. It's nothing. She's actually very good to me."

Andrew was afraid that if Henry couldn't control himself, he might end up slapping Emily.

Andrew, frightened, explained, "It's nothing, really. People in our village are not educated. We just call each other by name among siblings."

"Who are you trying to fool?" Emily turned her face away and said impatiently, "The more rural people are, the more they understand traditional etiquette and the importance of respecting elders and juniors!"

"Emily..."

Andrew nudged Emily's leg under the table with his own.

"What are you doing?"

Emily pulled her leg back a bit, and accidentally, her leg touched Henry's leg on her side.

Both of them reacted as if they had been shocked.

Emily's pretty face turned red all the way to her neck, and she quickly withdrew her leg.

Henry suppressed the waves in his heart and lowered his head to eat.

Although he knew it was unintentional on Emily's part, he, who had never had any contact with a woman's body, couldn't control the strong changes happening in his body.
