Chapter 50: I Am Just That Arrogant

After hanging up the phone, Henry had already arrived at the hospital entrance, where many people were clearly associated with Charles. There was a small path next to the hospital, and Henry walked over and stood under a tree, waiting for an opportunity.

Soon, Charles arrived in his off-road vehicle, and the members of the gang immediately surrounded the car. Their daughter was sleeping in the back seat. Charles asked Natalie to get out of the car and enter the hospital, while he took a 5-round pistol from the toolbox, checked the bullets, and tucked it into his waist before getting out of the car.

"Charles," Zack, who had just come out of the hospital, said with a stern face after seeing Charles' car, "Brother Yong is safe, but both of his legs are injured, and his face is completely disfigured."

There were dozens of Charles' brothers at the hospital entrance and the operating room entrance, including Sean. Charles looked at Sean and asked, "What happened? It doesn't seem like a simple car accident."

Sean awkwardly explained how Henry had caused the conflict with Isabelle. Zack took out a handgun and suggested, "Charles, should we go now and raid that guy's brother's house?"

Charles shook his head and said, "Do you think he would just stay at home and wait for us? If we don't deal with him first and harm his family, as we've seen, can our family members be safe?"

Zack was taken aback and asked, "Then what should we do?"

Charles took out his phone and dialed Henry's number, but it was already switched off. Zack then suggested, "Should we go find his brother and sister-in-law and force them to call him?"

Charles shook his head and said, "He's already turned off his phone, and his brother and sister-in-law can't find him either. Also, this situation is different from the past. To deal with this Henry, we can only follow the rules of the street, not harm the innocent, and not involve our families."

Zack scoffed, "Do we really need to talk about morality when dealing with a small-town guy?"

Charles said softly, "Why do you still see him as a small-town guy? It's our own carelessness that let him turn the tables. Otherwise, how could Henry suffer such a big loss? Just now, he called me and knew everything about my family, even which neighborhood and building my parents live in the county."

Sean was surprised. Isabelle had asked him about these things at night. Could it be that...? But then he thought, he didn't know anything about Charles' parents' situation.

Sean asked, "Is your girlfriend's brother and sister-in-law living upstairs and downstairs?"

"Yes."

"Then take your brothers there now. Don't bring too many people. Guard the entrances and exits of the neighborhood and the entrance of their building. Don't make a sound when you see Henry. Just call me. Remember, don't let your brothers bring any weapons. If he finds out, just tell him that I sent my brothers to deliver a message. This guy is ruthless, but he's still reasonable. The brothers we've injured were all involved in a fight at the bar at night. You and your brothers weren't there, so he won't do anything to you."

"Understood!" Sean immediately left with his brothers.

"Let's go in and take a look."

Charles asked Zack to leave four brothers to watch over his car, telling them that his daughter was sleeping inside, and then he quickly walked into the hospital. Zack asked the other brothers to follow him, but he himself headed towards the hiding place of Henry.

As he walked, he took out his phone and dialed Sean's number. "Sean, after you go, go directly to Henry's brother's house. If he's there, call me, and I'll come over and kill him!"

"What if he's not there?"

"Then you call me too. I don't believe we can't get the information out of his brother's mouth!"

"But Charles said..."

"Listen to me on this. If something goes wrong, I'll take the blame. Don't forget, Henry is your boss. Now that he's injured like this, don't you want to avenge him?"

Zack was about to hang up and turn towards the hospital when he suddenly felt a dark shadow in front of him, and Henry's gun was pressed against his forehead.

Seeing Henry's fierce eyes, emitting a chilling murderous intent in the darkness, Zack froze. He really wanted to keep this from Charles and make a big move, both to lighten Charles' burden and to prove his own strength. But he didn't expect that Henry, who seemed to be far away, would be right in front of him now.

Now he understood why Charles no longer saw Henry as just a small-town guy. But Zack was also a decisive person. Although he was panicking inside, he pretended to be calm and sneered, "You think I'm scared, hillbilly? If you dare to shoot, you won't be holding a weapon to my head."

"Bang!"

Damn, he really fired.

A bullet went into Zack's mouth and came out from the other side of his cheek, causing a huge impact that made Zack's head jerk backwards. An unbearable pain instantly spread throughout his body.

"Ahh!"

Zack finally understood what a real ruthless character was.

"Slap, slap, slap!"

Immediately after, Henry used the butt of the gun to fiercely hit Zack's head, causing a gory scene. The four gang members who were watching the car hadn't figured out what was happening when they saw Henry brutally beating Zack. They quickly pulled out their shining machetes and rushed forward.

Inside the hospital, Charles vaguely heard a gunshot and quickly turned around and ran out. Dozens of his brothers didn't know what was happening, but instinctively followed him without a word.
