Chapter 76: You Stole My Husband

Henry noticed that the safe indeed contained a significant amount of money, but what caught his attention more were the three external hard drives.
He pocketed the hard drives and casually closed the safe.
Since he didn't take much and spent little time, Erick assumed Henry had taken gold bars and bank cards, feeling quite pleased with himself.
Seeing Henry turn around, Erick immediately put on a pious expression: "The last six digits of the card number are the password. You can withdraw money from any ATM."
Henry didn't respond. He dragged a wheeled chair from outside the desk and sat down opposite Erick and Victoria.
Victoria and Erick didn't know what he was up to. Since he remained silent, they dared not ask and continued kneeling.
Soon, footsteps were heard outside.
Erick looked at Henry with a bitter expression, hoping Henry would show some mercy, as it would be embarrassing if employees saw him kneeling.
Through the shattered glass door, Henry saw Emily striding in front, looking anxious.
Isabelle was half a step behind her, occasionally jogging to keep up.
Andrew followed at a leisurely pace.
Sean had also come up.
It turned out that when Emily parked her hatchback at the bar entrance, Sean noticed Isabelle getting out.
Emily and Andrew followed shortly after.
"Why are you here?" Sean asked Isabelle.
Seeing Emily heading towards the bar with her head down, Isabelle quickly followed, saying to Sean, "Henry called us. Is Erick's office on the third floor?"
Sean nodded, and Isabelle immediately told Emily, "It's on the third floor."
"Brother," Andrew quietly asked Sean, "what's going on inside?"
Sean shook his head, "I don't know!"
He turned to follow Isabelle upstairs, and Andrew reluctantly brought up the rear.
Emily saw Erick's office door closed but the glass shattered, feeling a pang of anxiety.
It looked like there had been a fight. Henry was alone, and Charles's forces were formidable, so the outcome was predictable.
At that moment, Emily had only one thought: it's just money. As long as Henry is safe, no amount of money matters!
When she looked inside through the glass, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Isabelle was also startled.
Henry was injured, and the result of the evening's fight was uncertain. Seeing Sean unharmed and the bar seemingly untouched, Isabelle assumed Henry had lost.
She thought Henry might have been taken hostage after losing the fight in the southern suburbs.
Otherwise, Henry would have trashed the bar.
As she followed Emily inside and saw Henry sitting on a chair with Erick and Victoria kneeling before him, she rolled her eyes, thinking: scared me to death!
Then she glared and ran directly towards Victoria.
Sean, unsure of what was happening, saw Isabelle suddenly rush to the side and quickly followed.
Andrew, panicking, also followed, relieved to see Henry unscathed and Erick and Victoria kneeling, while Isabelle grabbed Victoria's hair and kicked her. Sean felt reassured.
Andrew, however, felt uneasy, thinking: if Charles shows up with his men, what then?
"You bitch! You have today too!" Isabelle cursed and kicked Victoria.
Victoria didn't resist; more importantly, she didn't dare to!
Seeing them kneeling there, Emily was also furious, but seeing Isabelle kicking Victoria mercilessly, with Victoria looking pitiful and defenseless, Emily's heart softened.
"Isabelle, that's enough!" Emily called out.
Isabelle retorted, "It's none of your business. This bitch shamelessly stole my boyfriend and even bullied me!"
Emily and Sean both glanced at Henry, who remained expressionless.
Victoria didn't resist, which was a stark contrast to her usual behavior and arrogance that night.
No matter how much Isabelle messed up her hair or kicked her, Victoria didn't fight back.
She looked pitiful, but Isabelle's kicks, though not very powerful, were more insulting than harmful.
Victoria said, "I never stole your boyfriend; you stole my husband, okay?"
"What did you say?"
Isabelle's pretty face twisted with anger. She grabbed Victoria's hair with one hand and raised the other to slap her.
Victoria said, "I have proof. If you don't believe me, I can show you."
"What proof?" Isabelle was stunned.
Victoria opened her small handbag and handed Isabelle a marriage certificate.
Isabelle looked at it and burst into tears.
Emily frowned and glanced at Henry out of the corner of her eye. Seeing Isabelle cry, how could Henry bear it?
Sean, heartbroken for Isabelle, looked at Henry.
Isabelle had said Henry was her boyfriend. Now, crying in front of him, any man would find it hard to bear.
Henry suddenly stood up and walked towards Isabelle.
Sean clenched his fists. If Henry dared to bully Isabelle, he would fight him, even if he couldn't win.
Henry took the marriage certificate from Isabelle's hand. Isabelle looked up at him, then continued crying.
Henry checked the date on the certificate and squatted down. Victoria instinctively recoiled.
Henry wasn't like Isabelle; if he acted, Victoria feared for her life.
"Did you just get this marriage certificate today?" Henry asked.
Victoria nodded.
Henry asked, "Do you want me to settle our accounts?"
Victoria nodded vigorously.
Henry put the marriage certificate back in her handbag: "Tomorrow, go find Bryan and get a divorce certificate from the same place you got married."
Isabelle suddenly stopped crying.
Sean and Emily were both stunned: Doesn't Henry like Isabelle? Isn't Bryan and Victoria's marriage exactly what he wants?
What is he...
