Chapter 169: Enemies at our door
Kurt
I hated being away from her, but I never thought I'd find my mate with my brother and the other with his dick in her mouth. I couldn't stay away because they kept touching her!
"What did you say?"
"The council, Gerard?" Logan asks, still dizzy from his orgasm. Bastard…
"You heard me. Enemies coming. They'll be here soon. The warriors saw them and warned me. I've been trying to talk to you, but you cut the link"
"But we still had days... he said" she says, worried, while Dom hugs her.
"They sensed the change. After we marked you, something in the pack must have shifted. A new power must have been born: a New Moon and three alphas," Logan adds.
"That theory is right. They must have sped up their plans, also know what we've been doing with the humans. I'm sure they have an advantage," Dominic replies.
"Dominic, you and I will take care of the border and speak with the allies. Kurt, stay with our mate. Robin could get the pack and humans to the basement. I'll ask one of the twins to warn the humans. This feels wrong," Logan says.
"What about Maddie?" Dominic asks. "They're going to ask to see her."
"We'll delay it, as much as we can. Let's go!" Logan orders, and I see fear in her eyes. She's sitting on the bed, naked, smelling like my brothers. I hear her say through the mind link:
"I love you all, so much"
My brothers move closer to kiss and touch her, and I fall to my knees before her, overwhelmed. The mind link... she was connected to us.
"Mate…"
"My favorite blonde," she says only to me, and it makes me love her even more.
"We'll protect you, mate. We're four, we're bound"
"Come back to me. I want you all with me," she says.
"We will," Dominic says, kissing her hand. Logan and Dom leave to do their jobs, while I bathe her and dress her.
"The mark is starting to show," Ajax tells me, and I move closer to see her neck. On the side, in Dominic's mark, there's a wolf, where Logan's mark is, there's a moon, and in mine there's a sun.
"A sun?" I ask in astonishment, and she looks at herself in the mirror.
"Isn't that normal?"
"No, not really, but I don't know what it means." I say, helping her to get dressed.
"They're beautiful," she says, smiling and touching them.
"You're gorgeous, mate," I say, taking her hand after putting on my suit. We see the commotion at the pack house. Warriors running back and forth. Robin has had to interrupt her rest and is leading the humans to the dungeons and the safe zone.
"Do what you think is best, Robin. We trust you, and please take care of yourself," I tell her, and she and Maddie hug each other.
"I love you, girl, take care..." my mate says, breaking my heart.
Lionel had already left for the human towns. Maddie couldn't leave; she needed to here with us. Out of nowhere, we heard a noise. I hugged my mate as we both fell to the ground. We felt our minds being invaded as a voice spoke in our heads:
"Alphas of Moonvalley, present yourselves to the council and bring the human."
"Did you hear that?" she asked, frightened.
"Yes, they're here. Damn it! I thought we had more time,"
The warriors were already on their way to the border. We had to be ready for anything, just in case. The Council couldn't be trusted. When we reached the place where I knew they would be, Logan and Dominic were already there. They were wearing dark suits like mine, and there was a space between them for me to stand, with my precious mate hidden behind me.
And then I saw him, right next to the Council: Gerard, with a wicked smile. And he wasn't here to talk; he had brought a battalion of Night Wolves warriors with him.
"Men of the Council, what are you doing here? What brings you to our pack and the borders of our territory?" Logan demands.
"Alpha of Moonvalley, we've come to investigate an irregularity. We've been informed of anomalies in your pack, and we've come to correct them,"
"This doesn't look like a correction, gentlemen. It looks like an invasion. You've come with an Alpha from another pack, with warriors and battalions. Tell me immediately what your true intentions are," Dominic demands. Behind them, I see more Alphas, betas and warriors. They surround us, press us.
"We are the Council, and it is our duty to rule over all the wolves," an old man says, and the three of us growl.
"You see to it that the laws of the wolves are obeyed, but don't be mistaken, gentlemen. In this territory, the Three Dragons and our Luna rule," I explain.
"Let's put an end to this once and for all, Alphas. It's well known in the wolf community that you've taken a human. We've received reports that you've made her your Luna and that you've marked her. But before that, you rejected a she-wolf, your true mate! Tell us the truth! What you want, what you've always wanted, is to take over the human world," Gerard shouts, and his men scream and howl.
"Isn't that what you want? For years, you've been kidnapping human women!" Dom shouts.
"Our mate is ours! She is our true mate! Marked and mated!" Logan yells.
"Enough! We have many points to discuss. The Night Wolves have made claims, supported by several Alphas. " One of the councilmen says.
"We also have Alphas who support us," I say, and our allies appear. I knew some of them weren't completely convinced. Others hated the Council as much as we did.
"What the hell are Alpha Gerard's claims?" demands Alpha Roger.
"He says he should own Moonvalley Pack. By rightful claim,"
