Chapter 64: Three is the perfect number
Maddie
It was early morning when we arrived at the pack, worried; but we arrived safely.
"I'm sorry, Luna... I've never been good at driving; I always preferred to be in my wolf form and run. These human things are not my forte," he apologized.
"It's okay, Liam, thanks for bringing me."
I felt sad and scared. Dominic had left in a hurry, looking conflicted about leaving me, just after telling me he loved me, and he sounded so sincere. Our date had been wonderful, and I felt closer to him, as I did to Kurt, and I thought... I was starting to feel something for them. Something I thought it was impossible.
I missed him, Kurt, even Logan. It made me feel safe knowing they were close, but now I didn't know where they were, and for several hours we heard nothing; there were no updates, everyone seemed calm, but I was starting to feel anxious.
"I'm so glad you're back, I missed you so much!" Robin said as she hugged me.
Lionel had returned to the city to help the triplets, while Liam was on alert here with the pack. Alpha Oscar had put a lot of security in place and said we were safe and nothing would happen, but what about my mates?
"Yeah right..., it's clear that you've had a hard time with the twins in my absence,"
Robin looked more beautiful and happier than ever. Her relationship with the twins had intensified, and I believed it was because the triplets and I were out of their lives.
The Golden Boys must have been delighted without the worries their alphas gave them, and although they still fulfilled their duties, they would be happy to spend time with my friend. And my suspicions were confirmed when she showed me something I had never seen up close.
Her mark... the twins had marked her. I saw what seemed to be a mixture of scars and kind of tattoos on my friend's neck. The mark was in the shape of a wolf howling at the moon, one on each side of her neck. It was frankly beautiful, and although I was happy for her, I can't help to felt a little jealous.
"I have to admit... I had a great time. The sex... was incredible, fantastic, spectacular. There are days we don't leave the bed, and when they marked me... I think I died and went to heaven; the orgasm was crazy, and after being marked, everything got even better. However, I will always need and miss you, you're my BFF! I had no one to talk to about these things. Nothing like a girl talking about sex with hot guys! Even better... my soul mates!" she said excitedly.
"Okay, I forgive you just because you look so happy," I replied and she hugged me. Suddenly, Liam walked in.
"Girls, you have a visitor," he said, and I hoped it wasn't Luna Vera, let alone the she-wolf who had threatened me, but I was very relieved to see that it was Dr. Karim.
"Doctor!"
"Luna, Beta... I'm glad you're okay."
She gave me a quick checkup and said I was in very good shape. I liked the doctor; it was comforting to have her around. She was trustworthy and a gateway to the wolf world, which I still didn't know much about.
"It looks like your stay away from your mates has done you a lot of good," she said with a smile. "Should I assume you've made progress with... those dreams you told me about?" she asked casually, and I blushed.
"Ehhh... not really."
"Dreams about your mates? Hot dreams?" my friend asked.
"Robin!" I slapped her arm.
"There's no need to be embarrassed; wolves are very different from humans. They talk about sex without shame," Robin replied, and the doctor nodded.
"Wolves transform and see each other naked all the time. Besides, with four mates... it doesn't take much imagination to know what happens in bed, and that a woman is quite challenged. But very happy and satisfied, I might add. I don't know how it is with humans, but wolves are potent and very well-endowed," the doctor said, and I wanted to be swallowed by the ground. My face must have shown shock and astonishment.
"If it's good with two, I can't imagine it with four," Robin said with a dreamy expression. What?
"Well, it's similar, except you're busier. You know, the mouth and one of your hands while the other two do what the twins do," Karim replied.
"What the hell?" I said in horror.
"Maddie, two men, one goes where he always goes and the other, you know..." Robin said nonchalantly. I couldn't take it; I was frozen.
"But don't be afraid, they really know what they're doing and you'll have help. Believe me, you'll be so aroused you'll wish they'd stay there forever. You'll be asking for more in no time" my friend added, and the doctor agreed wholeheartedly.
For heaven's sake.
"Mates will know to be patient, not to rush, to keep a good pace, and in time you'll all be in perfect sync. I think three is the perfect number," the doctor said, placing a hand on my shoulder, and I was still in shock.
Although I couldn't deny that I wanted to know them better. God... if what we had done so far made me wet just to remember it. But suddenly Karim seemed sad.
"What is it, Doctor?" my friend asked.
"It's just that I... had another mate, we were five."
Five? My goodness.
"And what happened?" I asked.
"There was a rogue attack, and he..." she started to say, but couldn't finish. We took her hands.
"It must be very difficult," Robin added.
"Tremendously hard," she explained, sighing as she took a pendant from her necklace, which I assumed had something to do with her dead mate.
"Luckily, I have more mates. If it were my only mate... I would be dead. Rogues are vile creatures, more animal than human. They have no loyalty or kindness. They are the enemies of our world," she added.
At night, I thought about what she had told us and imagined the pain of losing a mate. I still had problems with the triplets, especially Logan... but even he... I couldn't imagine losing them.
I just hoped to see them again, so I put on one of the dresses Dominic had bought me. It had a side slit and was very sexy. I remember the hot session in the dressing room. Damn... I want them, I want all they can give to me. I wish they come right now and... feel his hands on me. I put a long coat over it and when I heard Liam talking to some warriors.
"Do you have any information on the alphas?" the twin looked particularly desperate.
"Nothing new, only that they were up against a group of rogues in the forest." Oh no, no, no.
"Rogues? Really?" I asked, frightened.
"Yes, they had a plan; I saw them in their camp. There were many of them, and the alphas were trying to prevent an attack on the pack and protect you, Luna," the blonde explained, and I felt my heart jump out of my chest.
"Why can't they communicate with them?"
"They must be far away or lost... but don't worry, Luna... they will return," he said, but he didn't seem convinced, and an uneasy feeling settled in my chest.
I waited and waited, anxious at the thought of never seeing them again.
Damn... I want those triplets, I want them with all my heart.
