Chapter 39: Last chance

"No, no, and no! I won't do it!" Logan kept yelling.
My brother and I had beaten him to near exhaustion. We didn't want to leave any scars because it would look bad at the ceremony, but we were already tired of kicking his miserable ass.
He was a strong wolf, but it was still two alphas against one. And whether he accepted it or not, the separation from our mate weakened him. He really was a big asshole.
"We have already accepted her, and we are not going to back down. If you don't acknowledge her, you'll weaken our bond with her, and you'll get sick or go crazy! Is that what you want?" Dominic yelled at him.
"She will destroy you! We should choose a mate, not accept a stupid human!" Logan screams.
He received a brutal punch in the face from Dominic and blood came out of his mouth. He continued to spit as he crouched, and I didn't feel the slightest bit of pity for him. Everything my brother got, he deserved.
"That's all you care about, isn't it? It really has nothing to do with her or us. You don't want to share, you want to be the only Alpha. Don't you understand that you will be weaker! Not to mention that the Moon Goddess might punish you!" I shouted at him.
"The Moon Goddess didn't give us this weak mate! It's a lie that suppose damn bond!" Logan said and I grabbed his neck.
"Is it a lie? Because I'm sure you feel it, your wolf Morgan feels it. And most importantly, she feels it."
"She fucking hates us! She will stab you in the back, she already promised! Are you insane? I know it... she will never be able to forgive us," he said and a bad feeling settled in my stomach.
"She will forgive us, she will love us," my wolf Ajax said.
"But now she doesn't... now she doesn't love us," I said, knowing it was too soon.
"Of course she hates us! We kicked her out of her land, we bullied her all through school, we laughed at her, we told her she was a stupid and simple nerd. We treated her like she was weak, like an insect," I said, looking him in the eye with anger.
"She lost everything, her dreams, her hopes, and then we brought her here and treated her like a prisoner or an inferior human being. But despite all that, she feels the bond and has agreed to be at the ceremony," Dominic said, and he must have been thinking the same thing as me. Logan's look was like he was hiding something.
"You don't know anything," he snapped.
"What we do know is that... we pleased her that night, the night you heard the moans."
"Did she let you do it willingly?" Logan asked, a little surprised, and I threw him to the ground.
"Of course she did! What do you think we would do without her consent?" I said, now pacing desperately. My brother crouched down and looked Logan in the eyes.
"She let us, and she wanted more. She wanted us to do everything to her. If this isn't the result of the mate bond, then how do you explain it? You have no idea what we did to her, she took her clothes off and begged us to touch her."
"bullshit! She is just manipulating you..."
"She's a virgin, Logan. The story about her supposed boyfriend is a lie, because no man, human or not, could resist this woman. Our mate is beautiful," Dominic said, and I saw the hatred in Logan's face.
"You're lying..."
"We had her the way the goddess brought her into the world, completely naked and open to us. We explored her entire body, she showed us all her secrets, we possessed her, and you have no idea how well she took it, having two Alphas. I'm sure she wouldn't have minded a third," I added.
"Stop it!" he shouted desperately.
"If you knew, she is wonderful. The moans that come from those lips... and her pussy, oh brother, I can't describe the taste of her. She soaked the whole bed after I finished eating her…" I said, and he roared.
"Shut the fuck up!" Logan yelled like a madman, covering his ears. He must have been suffering from a combination of hatred, envy, regret and despair. I was getting excited just thinking about that night... and how I had just touched her in the bathroom.
"I can swear to you that we will soon take her and mark her. We already know her weak spots. Are you sure you don't want to join us... brother?" he roared.
Under no circumstances would we talk about our mate like that with others, but Logan was a part of us. He should share this experience with us; he was part of it too. If he would just stop being stupid, of course.
"You will participate in the ceremony whether you like it or not. It's already decided, our uncle knows, and he's very happy. The pack will see that there is a new Luna and that the Three Dragons are united in recognizing her," Dominic said, and that was the last word. He left angrily, leaving our brother on the ground. I thought he was on the verge of crying.
"I kissed her myself, touched her today. You have no idea how good it felt on my hands," I said, bringing my fingers close to his face. He was red with anger.
"You don't understand... the other alphas will laugh at us, she can't be our Luna!" he snapped through clenched teeth and wiped his mouth.
"You are so stupid. You have no idea what you are missing. She is not only sexy and beautiful, but intelligent, kind and gentle enough to forgive us, or at least give us another chance, and that is much more than we deserve," I said, closing the door and telling the warriors outside to keep an eye on him.
He will not ruin this night, I will do whatever it takes.
