If I had thought of any possibility of staying with the twins, it had crumbled with what my friend had told me. Maddie was in danger, and who knew if she was the only one?

"That is true. And I know you're very close to Madeleine. I just want you to know that she is in very good hands and you have nothing to worry about," she said.

"I know she listens to you and I want you to help all of us to get her to accept the triplets. Only then can they be truly strong and take over the pack," she explained.
"But when they take over, that means you and your husband..." I said.
In the human world, those in power don't want to let go. It seemed to me that it should be the same with wolves, and she smiled.
"We know we are the temporary rulers, but the boys are the ones who really have the duty," she said.
"I understand."
"I know you get along well with the Golden Boys and that you will soon be an important addition to our pack. So any information you have about Maddie would be greatly appreciated," she said, and I couldn't believe she thought I would go behind my friend's back.
"Robin..." I heard someone call out to me and we were interrupted. When I looked it was one of the twins.
"Sorry, Luna. We have to go," he said, leading me into the room.
"Think about it, Robin..." the Luna said, and I was grateful to be taken out of that situation.
But when I got to my room, I found flowers and presents everywhere. The other twin was waiting for me, very happy; they were both very excited.
"Is something wrong? It's not my birthday and..."
"We just wanted to thank you for agreeing to the ceremony. We also know that you have been through a lot these past few days, and we want to assure you that we will do everything possible to make sure that you are comfortable and protected."
"As long as I'm here with you..." I replied, looking at them.
They were so handsome, now dressed in white shirts and dark blue jeans. They were charming, strong and brave. And deep down I felt that they were mine... really mine. They didn't seem offended by what I had said, but rather took my hands.
"The pack is important, but you come first, mate. If you tell us to leave right now, we will. We will go wherever you want. As long as we're together, nothing else matters."
