Chapter 91: The alpha's dinner

Logan
"What the hell happened here?" I ask, annoyed. I had just experienced the most stressful and infuriating hours of my life.

My uncle would have to give in; I would be the Alpha. I had chosen a Luna, alienated my brothers, who I didn't know where they were or why they hadn't come to see me, and on top of it all, those stupid twins had turned their backs on me!

The Golden boys had managed to find an impasse where they stopped supporting me but stayed in the pack. Meanwhile, one of them took his human mate out of here, they wanted to escape, I know. Would they go with my brothers? No... Dominic and Kurt couldn't have left me.

In the background of all this was the pain, sharp at first, now just maddening, of knowing that something could happen to the human. There was still no news of her; the Council members had assured me that the ritual would be simple, but I didn't know if I could trust them.

And as if all that wasn't enough... now I arrived at our room, the one that belonged to all of us, and it was completely changed. Damn it! I used to come here several times a day, to see that my brothers came back, and besides... I could smell her. It reassured me, but now she was gone, everything had changed! A thousand times, damn it!

"What the hell? Who did this? Bring me their heads!" I how. There were red silk sheets, the atmosphere was dark. Everything was... different. I hated it.

"You know exactly why, because everything is wrong," Morgan shouts; he only appeared now to harass and scold me.

"My Logan? What's wrong?"

"Irina, tell me exactly what the hell happened," I ask her angrily.

"My Alpha, I just wanted to give the room a special touch now that it's going to be ours," she says, I notice that even the bed had been changed, the one my brothers used to sleep on with her...

"I never asked for any of this! I didn't ask for any of these changes!" I yell as more wolves appeared, moving around and bringing in more furniture.

"Over here, leave it there," Irina comment casually, giving instructions and handling everything as if this was her great ship, and she was the great captain.

"Enough!" I shout angrily, and she motions for the men to leave, as my bad mood was obvious.

"Why don't we get ready for the dinner your uncle is throwing in our honor?"

Oscar had planned this to calm the main warriors of the pack with the events that had happened, and of course to present us as a solid couple. It was all just talk and strategy, a kind of alpha marketing, things I didn't like but had to do.

"Let's go then," I growl as she finishes getting ready, and I put on a suit.

"What do you think of my outfit?" Irina asks flirtatiously, standing in front of me and showing off a small, dark red dress with a zipper up the front, which seemed to be her favorite color. It was so tight that it showed off her entire body, and she probably had nothing on underneath.

"Don't worry, I'll wear a coat over it; I know how Alphas are with their mates," she mentions with a little laugh.

Their mates...

"She's not our mate," Morgan growls. I had to admit, she looked beautiful and seductive; she really was a work of art, and yet...

"No, we won't do anything with her, ever again," my wolf Morgan roars again, increasingly angry.

"Nephew, you finally arrived," my uncle says with a smile. "Irina, you look beautiful," he greets us.

All the top warriors were here, my uncle and I were the only ones who didn't share a woman, but the others didn't seem to care.

"I wouldn't mind sharing our mate with Ajax and Damiano; you're the only selfish one," Morgan snorts.

"Yeah, sure, you'd love to wait your turn with her. No sane wolf would want that."

"I think it would be quite stimulating..." he snarls maliciously.

"Warriors ! People of the pack! Here are all the important people of Moonvalley, upon whom our existence, happiness, and prosperity depend. Our pack has survived for centuries thanks to good decisions, power, and facing the challenges of the wolf world. And now we've had some setbacks, but we've overcome them," my uncle announces. Irina took my hand under the table, smiling like a beauty queen.

"I have been your Alpha for many years, and we have yet to see what the succession will be. My nephews are strong, but we are currently settling a dispute. We will have results soon, and we will resolve this as we always have," he explains, and everyone applaud.

"What was that? I'm the eldest; I have a chosen Luna that everyone wants, and..." I growl in my uncle's ear.

"Everything come into its own time. We have to wait for the news of the ritual and the human, you know, the outcome," he mentions, and my stomach churn just thinking about her, how she was doing.

"You know... about the ritual? About her?" I ask, scared.

"Not much, just that they sent her to a complicated place," he mentions casually, and my heart sank.

"A complicated place? It was supposed to be... it was supposed to be just to prove that she wasn't a suitable Luna. "

"Calm down, nephew, you're putting on a show that doesn't suit us," my uncle scold me, still smiling; it was all a facade.

"But..."

"We'll talk about it later," he replies and turn to talk to the other warriors.

"What is it, my Alpha?" Irina asks, and I felt her hand move up my leg, the whole situation unnerving me.

"My uncle is stalling, I'm becoming desperate that's all," the whole situation was starting to upset me too much.

"Alpha Logan and Irina are such a beautiful couple!"

"When will you have an heir?"

"That's right! The ceremony must take place, and you must conceive one as soon as possible."

"Oh! A little Alpha! That would be so adorable!" the guests said in every conversation I had.

An heir? A child with her? The idea repulsed me so much that I struggled to hide it.

The dinner was an ordeal; she kept touching me, my uncle ignored me, I asked about my brothers, but everyone pretended they didn't exist, and when it was over, I felt relieved, it was all a fucking waste of time.

When we returned to my room, my irritation continued, it seemed like I was complaining every moment. I had almost everything I wanted. So what then?

"I don't know Irina, this isn't how I imagined it, none of this, and..." I said as I watch her unzip the front of her dress, revealing that she literally had nothing on underneath.

"You need to relax, my Alpha," she whispered seductively as she sat on the bed and spread her legs. Her breasts were large and bouncy, her legs long and firm, her pink pussy perfectly shaved.

"Come, my Alpha, I want you to do whatever the fuck you want to me."
