After getting things off the bed and cleaning up what mess I had, I decided that my workout would have to wait. I now needed a shower and did not feel like having to take another before the tour. By 6am my bed was clean again and the maid took the old dirty ones. “I’m sorry you know that time of the month can be a bitch and for me it always capsizes” I joked, and the maid just smiled and nodded. I ordered room service which was that of a health smoothie and was delivered as I sat on the balcony to finish watching the sun come up alone. I had paced near the door that held Sharene at bay and away from me when I needed her the most at that moment and did not know why. The view was amazing along with the smoothie that was gone within minutes of receiving it. “Hey… you did you already eat…” Sharene’s voice was at my ear making me jump. I had not even heard her come through the door and realized I was that deep in thought. I looked up and smiled “Well hello gorgeous, hope you slept as soundly as I did until I woke up at 5am” I said and watched as she came around the front of the chair and sat in my lap.
Sharene had ordered her breakfast that was brought to us on the balcony a little after 7:30am with a breakfast I had usually have on a normal day but did not have a big appetite. Sharene had moved from my lap making me want to pull her back down to sit and eat while I had her as close as possible. “So, here’s something for you…. ummm but first I have something for you….” I said heading inside. To my dresser where I had her necklace in a box to give back to her after I had taken photos to remind me of what she looked like along with her daughter. I took the box in hand and held on tight as I made my way back to her. I sat before handing over the box wanting to hold onto it for just a bit longer. I cleared my throat and finally held out the box to her and she looked at me with serious eyes and finally took the box from me. “What is it? Sharene stood on her feet before I could pass her and looked as though she was ready for a fight. I decided if she wanted one, I would give her one and stepped close to her right in her face. “If you want to hit me for giving you your belongings back then go for it, but once you do I’m going to ask what the hell has gotten you so riled up. You think I’m using you, but actually to be honest you used me from the beginning and then left me. Then last night when you said goodnight it confused me even more. I paced outside your bedroom door this morning wanting to just bust in and take you and what I wanted. Then you’d just accuse me of treating you like a whore like you basically just did now” I whispered but with such calm and low toned that I even made my own hairs’ stand up. She had already finished her breakfast before the whole thing happened and I was thankful for that. I let her push me away so I could see what she would do next. She had the box in her hand as she turned and went towards the bedroom door with me on her heels to stop her this time.
Sharene turned around so quick I was surprised I had enough time to move when she lunged at me for grabbing her wrists. “Jesus Shar just chill, out I can’t believe you are acting this way right now…. I gave you something back that I’d already promised I would. You are acting like I killed your dog or something. Sharene locked the bedroom door and came at me again. I grabbed her wrists taking her to the floor giving her what she obviously wanted from me from the beginning but had not realized it until that moment. “This…. this is what you wanted me to take charge and what possess you over you… I’m not that person Shar. However I will do it in the bedroom behind closed doors and only in the heat of passion never in an everyday capacity. Sharene groaned as I kept my hands on her wrists and above her head while I started off slow until she told me what she wanted word for word. Sharene was gone as I had feared instead of staying and showering in my bathroom and wrapping up and leaving after to get dressed. 15 minutes later I left the bedroom and was surprised when I found Sharene outside my door all dressed up in a sundress and sandals. With her shoulder length hair pulled back with a butterfly clip and a splash of make up on. She looked at me as though she was waiting for my answer to her pleading of me not being with anyone but her.
I kept my eyes on hers as I closed the bedroom door behind me and backed her up against the wall that she was near. “Why… why do you need me to be yours and only yours when we don’t know all that much about one another.
