Chapter 132
By the middle of the week I was so exhausted that I couldn't see straight, I'd went home to my now own house. My parents decided that I was right and needed to be treated like an adult since I told them a few things the night before. I told them about a few investments I had taken on that had come around 10, fold. That if they wanted to cut me off that was fine as I had not been using the money, they had been giving me anyways. I gave them all the credit cards they gave me after showing them I had, had my own. One I had at the age of 17 years old, and they both were shocked. My father though was surprised and wanted to know the investments I had made at only 17 years old. That had made me wealthy and almost as wealthy as he was. I did not of course tell them anything serious needing to have time to get my head wrapped around more family history. That I would be taking on and was still all a mystery in itself. I had narrowed it down to 2 colleges with one being Stanford and Oxford and by Friday morning I had made an offer on the house in California. That my father was going to buy for me if I decided on Stanford. I had loved it the moment I entered it and even more when Sharene and I had opened up to one another. In a way that broke my heart like no other one had ever as she had crawled in and made herself at home.
Sharene had only called me once a day even though I refused to answer or reply to any messages she had left. I knew she was keeping in touch with my mother since she was not beating down my door yet. I cared for her and maybe even started to love her but hated to even try to admit it to myself. Thinking of the heartache and betrayal she would cause if I gave into it all. "Giovanni... hey sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you.. this week is kicking my ass and I'm...." "No excuses you need to get down here so we can go over this...Bruce is heading in now himself so get off that high horse you are on and meet me now" Giovanni said cutting me off. I knew he was not joking and would come for me if I didn't show up and headed to my car. I was surprised when I saw Catherine coming down the street in her mustang and wasn't looking like she was about to stop. I stood at the door of my car and waited to see what she'd do which was stop at the end of the driveway and look at me looking so upset and had every right to be. "Come on let me have it already because the silence is killing me... I called when I got back to the house, Tuesday and you didn't call me back... I know that our friendship is never going to be back like it was but for fuck, sake that is all on me I know... I..." she took off like a bat out of hell down the road and I just watched not having the time to chase her.
Bruce was pulling into the lot just as I was with my bodyguard close behind us and I knew by the look on his face he was amused at something. I figured it was the whole damn vacation and the shit that was taking place. "Well, well I'm surprised to see you here.... no one has been able to reach you all week except your parents of course... Sav is going out of her mind and really likes Sebastian but needs you to fucking answer her call" he said coming right at me with open arms. I hugged him and even surprised him again as I was usually so uptight and hated people hugging me for any length of time especially lately. "I'm good really, I just cut off my phone calls and only answer my parents right now. They are actually treating me like an adult now and I really need to show them that I can do this on my own. So, let's do this I now owe my father a fucking bad ass gym for putting millions into it. Even after I already said I'd pay him back all of it, so he didn't have to deal with it. He of course turned me down because for some reason he wants to own a gym. Not to mention Giovanni has convinced him that it's the coolest thing on the planet. Ha which I agree with him but still it's weird since my father is all about law and the court room making deals and all that..." I said heading into the gym.
Bruce went wide eyed as he was now looking over in the corner near where Giovanni usually did his training. "OMG.... no way... my bro is seriously kicking some ass..." he said laughing as he went towards the two men sparing in the corner. I was right behind him trying to figure out if I was dreaming or if it was real and to my surprise it was very real indeed. "Ok well this is not what I thought I'd be seeing today when I walked in..." I said behind Bruce as we approached my father and Giovanni who were just about done. Giovanni had taken his eyes off my father to look at me and my father took him down to the mat. A second later Giovanni was yelping out and tapping the floor. "OK..." Giovanni yelled out when my father would not move. "Dad... fuck let him up already..." "No, I saw his look when you got closer, and he let his guard down.... what is it about my daughter that has you men attracted like honey" he groaned cutting me off. I reached out and tapped my fathers, arm as he still refused to let Giovanni up. "Really you think that there is something between us... never have we let it get to that point nor would we" I whispered though now I wasn't sure but didn't need to get sidetracked anymore. "Well now that you are a lesbian, they can all back the fuck off" my father said so loudly the whole gym went quiet.
Giovanni was up a few minutes later gasping for air and raising his hands in defeat. "Damn daddy... you are good and have pure talent like your daughter... you can't teach someone that shit...that is pure born in the blood type of shit... as for Mia I'd never do that to either of us. I have children who adore her when they are here and their mother too who is actually asking me why you have not called her back in like months?" he asked as he came towards me for a hug. I wrapped my arms around him as we were the same height and he made me feel so centered as he always could once, I started letting him in. "Tell, her I'm sorry just been crazy as I told you a bit when you came for dinner.... now it's my turn to ask what the hell this is all about and how long has it been going on for? Because I've never once seen my father like this... ha but then again, he was more about business until all this shit went down" I informed him wanting to know what the hell was happening. Giovanni held me tighter as my heart was starting to pound. "Hey shhh calm down for a min and just give me time to tell you since you want to know. I'd be more than happy to tell you as I am the one who offered him a workout when we had our meeting. He looked like he was fighting a beast inside his chest, and it was like what I saw in you. Like I just said pure talent you two are made from the same cloth and could have been warriors in a previous life for real" he said calming me down as he held me and whispered into my ear.
