Sharene was right it was so busy that no-one would have guessed what was happening inside the bathroom. "Good thing this is here since I know how busy the other bathrooms get before flights..." I whispered after turning around and before leaving the bathroom. I kissed her as long as I could before her alarm went off telling us that time was up, and she needed to get to her gate in the next 10 mins. "I have to run now baby.... do not forget about me.... I'll see you in Cali on Monday morning/afternoon as long as everything goes good the next 24-36 hours" she promised as we stood holding on tight to one another. I watched as Sharene headed to her gate running as though her life depended on it. I could not help but smile as my heart was breaking. "Damn it.... By the time I got back to the SUV I was in tears and doing my best to hide it even though I knew they would see it with my face being all red. I was happy when they both kept their mouths shut and drove away from the curb letting me reflect on the last couple of days. By the tone in her voice, I knew that she was all but telling me that, that was my next mission and maybe that is what the harsh reality was all about. I blinked at her a couple of times before getting out and still would not speak since my head was all foggy from being jolted from the dream state where I was happy.
Sebastian opened the door and they both watched as I disappeared around the corner heading to the two bedrooms that were on that side of the room. I took myself to Sharene's old room knowing that if I didn't her smell would be gone the next day and I needed her close as possible as I was in the mood, I was in. I grabbed the sheet we had been wrapped in that morning and was thankful that we left it untouched not wanting anyone in the room. Only while we were out, and wrapped it around me before going to my room. I cried myself to sleep and woke by 4:45 am with needing to use the bathroom and the knock at my door which surprised me all the same. "Give me a second... I have to pee first and then..." "umm this can't wait Sharene has been trying to call you since she landed last night. She called us and we checked on you... she's on the line now wanting to make sure you are ok. Please answer your phone" Savannah said as she opened the door.
