Catherine eyed me with more anger than before shaking her head "SO YOU JUST FUCKING LIED TO ME....WHAT WAS ALL THAT SHIT YOU JUST SAID ABOUT NOT BEING WITH ANYONE...." "WHOA...... wait one minute I'm not with anyone... we are friends and yes I spent last night..." "BE HONEST SINCE HIS TRUCK WAS PARKED IN THE DRIVEWAY ALL WEEKEND..." Catherine was cutting me off left and right. I slammed my hands down on the counter to get her to stop and focus on me. "Are you done now? Because whether you want to believe me or not that is up to you....we are just friends and I’m helping him with his sleeping issues if you must know... he has now become dependent on me to be there to help him sleep all in a platonic way. Not that I must answer to you or anyone else for that matter and I’m also now in business with him and my father. A business that needs my attention a lot right now since people keep fucking things up until I got on the line with them. So if you'd like you can meet me at the gym tomorrow and I can show you what we are working on and even give you a good work out....I also kind of told him you'd come and tell him your experience with Jasmine... since I told him he needed to get a handle on his shit before I left. My mother could not help but sit and watch us as though she were watching a soap opera or housewives on TV. "Damn it, mother stop snacking let us get on our way for lunch...." "Ha ummm sorry but this shit is entertaining and what I would not give to be in my early 20s again" my mother said with a laugh as she hugged us both. Before dragging us both out for lunch. The driver pulled us up outside of a very expensive restaurant that my mother's good friend Jocelyn owned being a single woman whose husband died of cancer at age of 30. She still had not decided on finding a new man or using the frozen sperm her husband and her put aside. After he got diagnosed with stage 3 cancer of the testicles. "Oh, wow ok well good thing I dressed a little more upscale than just sweatpants and a tank top knowing lunch with you is always high class" Catherine said followed by a laugh. I just rolled my eyes of course and knew I would probably need wine or something stronger if I was to hang out with Jaclyn and my mother. Jaclyn met us at the door as the restaurant was packed for lunch showing us to her private area. That was always reserved for special people, clients of her husbands who had ran a business with him when he was alive.
Jaclyn sat us down and then proceeded to tell us about her good news. "Mia... darling you look amazing... and I hear you are going to be a big sister... and your mother says she wanted me to give you the good news about me instead of her telling you... (ha-ha) that look on your face is always priceless" she said with a laugh as I rose my brow. She had walked away for a minute and didn't get a chance to tell me her news but did not mind waiting. The waitress came to our table looking amazing and took our drink orders followed by appetizers, with Jaclyn always making us have the newest thing she had concocted with the chefs. "Alright well I'll be back with the apps and the drinks... just let me know if there is anything else, I can get you" she said smiling only at me and ignoring the other two ladies. "Jesus really.... is it, like a lesbian thing... shit you get more head turns from woman more than I do now..." Catherine bitched and I groaned deep in my throat "I'm not.... not a lesbian..." Jaclyn was laughing as she approached the table hearing Catherine's comment "(Ha-ha) oh yes, your mother told me that you are dating girls now... good for you dear... I'm sure she's told you about us...." "Ummm Jaclyn.... no I haven't since it was years ago and not important...." my mother said cutting her off real quick. Jaclyn rolled her eyes at my mother and smiled. "Ha calm down.... anyways for my news I'm 20 weeks pregnant with triplets... all thanks to the frozen sperm. I just decided if I don't do it now I'll never do it and I don't want James sperm to just never get a chance. I just told your mother a couple weeks back after I was through the first 2 trimesters. That's what the doctor recommended" her smile faded as she sat down and took my hand in hers. I already had a feeling she knew all about my situation and more. "I'm..." "DON'T.... please.... I'm sorry just don't want to have sadness right now when it should be nothing but happiness for the two of you. I'm doing better every day and of course mother is getting along with it as well... um at least I hope anyways because nothing can be changed about the past. We just have to focus on the future… So, triplets well damn that's great and yes always good to wait from what I hear. You look amazing and healthy and that's all that matters right?" I said to change the subject from me back to the ladies.
Lunch was amazing with my mother and her friend Jaclyn who had now 3 babies on the way and still no man but thought about introducing her to Giovanni. Who would find her just as attractive as I did now. "OH, and just to clear the air... I’m not a lesbian and I'm single not dating anyone..." "Damn was that an offer?.... no just kidding" Jaclyn said touching my hand. My mother groaned at the thought, and I grinned and played it out "OH well I've never been with an older woman well more than a couple years older than me... and you are what 35, 36 in a couple of weeks... I'm totally into MILF's" I said as the ladies busted up laughing along with our waitress who had come at completely the wrong time. The entire restaurant had now stopped what they were doing and looked in our direction which made me laugh out and wave to them as they kept watching and some of them even laughing. "Ok... it really wasn't like that funny....calm yourselves before you go into early labor or something" I said and they laughed harder to the point of almost turning blue.
Catherine could not believe how much fun she had, had once we left and got inside the SUV. "Damn and you got 3 numbers before even leaving the restaurant... maybe I should try the whole single life again and see what happens..." Catherine said in a tone that begged to differ. "They are just numbers and connections not for me in that way. In business since the two guys were asking where I worked out at. They have heard of the gym but never went, so I offered them to come down on my time and dime. Now have to talk it over with Gio too since he'll probably agree that my idea is perfect. If he wants to move from just ok to rock star amazing balls to the wall. As for the female she is on a whole other level extreme with all that going on. I have no idea if this is what it's like when you unlock that Pandora’s box. By sleeping with a woman for the first time...( ha-ha )I really don't know if it's like sharks in the water surrounding blood or what.. anyways mom what do you think Jaclyn would think of Giovanni? He's so sweet and has two kids and would love to have more.."
