20 mins later I am completely ready for my day with my hair still disheveled and even after many attempts at trying to figure something out finally settle on a messy side braid and headed for the door. Ethan and my relatives stuck with me without a word just a massive amount of support and love on my big day. I headed down to the main floor to see who all would be attending the even and to see who if any were still even in the house now. I stood close to the dining room where everyone was sitting and talking. "Sorry I didn't get time to eat breakfast but hope we can do dinner... I have to go for a little business this morning and a late lunch so I hope you can all forgive me for not being around much today" I say to Sharene's family and mine before heading towards the kitchen for coffee for the ride out. "Dad if you could call Giovanni and let him know I'll be there soon and if you want to head out now you can I just need a few more mins to grab my phone and bag.” No one said anything after me so figured all was good until after I was just about done grabbing coffee and reading over the supplements that Mrs. Juneson had put aside in the pantry for me, when Sharene had come to check in on me. "Hey ummm I thought I'd let you know that we are all going to be going to the gym for the openings. So, we are the last to leave Madeline is in the SUV with Bailey and Lola. We are just waiting on you now so how much longer?" she asked as she stood at the doorway watching me. I finished 5 mins later after running to the office to grab my bag and cellphone that had been on the desk all night and a dozen missed calls. "Yep done we can go" I say lifting my head and Sharene was staring. "Wow you are just.... mmmm ok yes let us get out of her before I keep us from going anywhere..." she said holding out her hand.
Bailey had us to the gym by 9:45 am where there was a line of people coming from one gym to another. "Oh, wow whoever did the marketing and advertising did a kick ass job..." "That would be me... your welcome. It was actually really fun and did a little play on words type of thing with exercise is like dancing type shit.." Sharene was so happy and I was happy that she found that in working for the gym. We found our way out of the SUV with security as tight as ever which I was sure thanks to my father and also Bailey who had been anxious all morning. Giovanni looked great but nervous for sure as I joined him where he stood ready to cut the ribbon for the next gym and I could be more proud of him and I both. “Hi Gorgeous…” wrapping me in a hug he held me like a vise and I knew he hated crowds like this and I felt bad since I could have done this, but knew I wanted him to take credit for this too. “Hey handsome, sorry about all this, but you started this too and I am not about to take all the credit… So please just do this for me ok and if it helps just find a person in the crowd.. or someone’s and picture them naked or something” we both laugh, and he squeezes my hand. Sharene takes note of our closeness but leaves it be as she makes the first announcement to introduce us to the public and the crowd as we also have local new reporters there to witness it all. “Now if you’ll give these two around of an applause for bringing their two great minds together and doing some great work. Not only have they brought more jobs to this area of town and growth but just something that really is needed in this world today, so please let me introduce two amazing individuals Mr. Glademer and Ms. Ribbonowski” she says clapping and stepping back.
Giovanni and I stood giving our speeches while he had been dressed in his workout shit and muscles bulging everywhere while I stood all business like which had seemed to last forever wanting to thank everyone from the building men and woman to the investors who were well really only one person my father. Giovanni had talked most of the time which I was ok with since my mind was on other things including my phone that had all the missed calls and messages on it now. I also let Giovanni finish his grand reopening tour as he deserved to do it all and I just wanted him to enjoy himself and not so in his head like he had been in the beginning. He had done a lot of much upgraded things and adding a few things as well for mostly men to his side of the gym. The tour took about an hour and 1/2 and I had to slip away to get things ready for next door to get gift bags finished. My mother had come along to help me out carrying Madeline with her while Sharene helped with the tour and networking. "So, I had these all designed 1/2 for men and half for woman different things in it along with a month membership. I just wish there was more I could do but just can't being so far away. I just have no other options right now and I'm glad that Shar seems to be pretty happy and hope it stays that way. I think she is a little irritated with me about a few things that happened this morning. I just ummm I am confused I guess for more reasons than one and I am tired of feeling like I did something wrong when I'm just being me and living the way I want. I mean I've told her I love her but I guess to her it's not enough and that's the problem, because I was afraid of this and now it's like what do say after battling myself for just all this since I met her. I don't just say those words and it took me saying them to Max until we were sleeping together and that's probably where it screwed me up. I wanted the fairytale life and I had it for a split second and then it was taken from me and I have no idea if it's ever going to happen... ugh let me just shut up now because I'm just getting all crazy in my head now and need to calm myself before..."
My mother had stood there with Madeline watching me put these bags together even though they were pretty much finished. "Mia, you have every right to have that dream of wanting a fairytale life and you deserve it. You are only 19 years old baby and you have nothing to prove to anyone but yourself. Just follow your heart, not your hormones, head, or anyone else's pressures so remember that" she wraps her arms around me. Madeline was letting us know she was there as she bounced her feet, banging her little toys as they hung down from her car seat and making baby noises. "Ok Maddie we hear you, what is up you have so much to say lately" I giggle bending down to pick her seat up and place it on the desk in the office. She smiled so big at me and then wined a little when I turned away from her for a second while I answered the phone on the desk. "Yes..." I answer and Giovanni asks if I was ready for the next stage of our gym and gave the go ahead for them to all come over. "I'll be right down my mother is heading down now to make sure that the bags are not missing anything" I say unbuckling Madeline. I hung up and carefully took Madeline out of her seat and snuggled her close loving her baby smell.
Madeline snuggled up and put her head on my chest and it hit me so right that I took a few extra mins to just take her in. I carried her down the steps and greeted everyone who was now entering the building taking the gift bags as they were monogrammed with our logo. "Thank you all for coming and joining us for the reopening and the grand opening of MaGovi. I hope you enjoy the bags and the little gifts inside along with a one-month free pass to not only this side but both sides. Let's get on with the tour and get you all either doing some stuff on the machines, or whatever you might wanna do" I clap showing everyone around as I held Madeline and answering questions. The tour took about an hour and a ½ with Madeline being so good and even falling asleep. Some people had broken off wanting to explore on their own and even get a little taste of the amenities that we offered. Before we even wrapped up 1/2 of the at least 100 people signed up and another group was heading in the door. I had walked back to the front to greet more people and was pulled into the little office behind the front counter by my father. "Omg angel face you are amazing, the clients all just got a membership and are talking about wanting you to open one of these in a few places that they travel to. We really need to get going to lunch and talk a little more, not to mention the package that Ralph has in his possession in the SUV. Your mother is going to ride with Sharene and baby Maddie while everyone else splits off wanting to do their own thing. I tried to get mother to take Sharene out for lunch with the family but Sharene wants to be with you every chance she gets while you are here. Can't blame her though since you are a hot commodity.... ha-ha I am just joking relax... put the brow down" he chuckled brushing my cheek.
