Chapter 123
We all headed back to the hotel and saying bye at the elevators before heading up. “I’ll see the 3 of you in the morning for breakfast…” “Guys have a good trip and come home safe….. I ummm thank you for your service too” Sharene said hugging them both before heading into the open elevator with Sebastian and Savannah who were making out in the corner of it. Jose and Nicholas looked at her with raised brows shrugging at Catherine who was a little taken by Sharene’s actions. I wanted to tell them about her husband, but it was not my place to tell them what happened. Plus, all I knew was that he died in combat, and it was a sore subject for her. I was quickly in the elevator when Sharene was sobbing, and Sebastian was now looking at me as though it was my fault along with Nicholas, Jose and Catherine looking back at us. “I swear she’s not doing that because of me…” “She’s telling the truth Sebastian she didn’t say or do anything” Catherine said quickly coming to my defense. My arms were wrapped around Sharene as I could only imagine what was on her mind seeing the guys for the last time until they came home. “Hey… shh I’ve got you baby” I whispered softly and watched as she turned into my embrace and sobbed even harder.
As Savannah and Sebastian looked at me, I shook my head telling them without words to leave it alone and not to ask questions. “Ok so I’ll be with Savannah until you call and let me know you are ready for us to take Shar to the airport. I hope you don’t mind if Savannah rides along with us so that we can all chat a little before we get back here and are under-watch even more” Sebastian said. I gave him a look that I hoped he was not about to tell my aunt that we’d slept together not once or twice but about a handful of times. He was not giving me the look since he was back connected with Savannah kissing on her and making her groan in the corner. Sebastian and Savannah were in the hall waiting for us when we walked out the door with Sharene's bags to take her to the airport and I was trying my best to keep my emotions in check. "Ok you two can you like keep that behind closed doors since my father obviously still doesn't know and I'm sure his team has eyes on this hall" I said with a smile when Sebastian groaned. Sharene laughed as she took my arm while I carried her bags even though the bell hop tried to come up more than once to get them.
Sebastian got the SUV while we waited just inside the door which made it all just hit me that Sharene would be leaving me. "Ummmm, so I hate admitting this... but I'm not ready for you to leave and I'm going to miss you.... with that said I know we both have to be strong and we both have responsibilities that await us..." Sharene cut me off by standing in front of me and placing her finger on my lips. She just stared at me looking deep into my eyes as though there was no one there but the two of us. I leaned in for a kiss and she obliged me with a sweet tender kiss that lasted only a split second before Sebastian pulled up and jumped out of the Suburban. "Talk about keeping things behind closed doors ladies... not that it was that long of a kiss, but still anyone watching is probably feeling a little stiff or even wet!" Sebastian said laughing making the rest of us laugh as we headed down the steps and into the waiting SUV. I placed the bags in the back and joined them all in the SUV and was happy when Sharene was in my lap but knew it was not safe. "Hey... seat-belt please would hate myself if something happened on my watch..." I whispered wanting to keep her safe not just for me, but for her baby girl that was way too young to lose her mother.
Sharene groaned when I refused to let Sebastian drive away until she was safe and sound under a belt "FINE! damn you'd think I'd be able to get away with somethin....." I groaned deep in my chest in a warning for her not to start. After I had given her way too much that she had already asked for. "We are not going to do this or start a fight that can't be resolved before we arrive at the airport. If that's what you are trying to do, then maybe I should stay here" I whispered, and she shut right up and almost started to cry. She had moved all the way to the door on the other side behind Sebastian and buckled up which just irritated me more and I hated that she was so far away. "Sebastian you can get going now sorry for the hold up... don't Savannah I know that look and it's not funny one bit..." I warned my aunt when she had been staring at me with the eye of "Damn you are uptight!" She turned around and placed her hand in Sebastian's as it rested on the center console. I knew the drive would not be long at all and unbuckled sliding all the way to Sharene taking her in my arms. Especially when she had yet to look at me even once when she moved away. "Hey... come here don't push me away I'm sorry.... I just want you safe at all times. Please don't let this be a goodbye that we can't take back if we are both upset. God, forbid I don't see you again I don't want the last thing we ever said or did was in anger so please just relax and kiss me" I whispered in a little bit of a begging tone.
Sharene sighed out a long held in breath and faced me. "You are not my mother so if I don't want to wear a seat-belt I'm not going too... however I care about you and love that you care about me so I'll be a good girl and stay safe.." she said before leaning in and kissing me. We were all hugs and kisses all the way to the airport with us both breathless more than once and the air in the SUV getting hot and thick. Thanks Sebastian and Savannah telling us to many times to count. I would have taken her right then and there if we had a privacy glass that went up between the front and the back. Then put that on the list to see if we could have it installed in the next SUVs. "GOD...I'm so fucking hot for you....You think you can give me about 15-20 minutes of your time in the bathroom before you leave me at the gate?" Sharene gasped placing my hand between her thighs to feel how hot and damp she was. I moaned out in such pleasure that had erupted louder then I meant for it to. It also made Sebastian and Savannah laugh and look back at us. "Mind your own business you 2..." I bitched wanting them to go back to whatever they had been talking about.
Sebastian informed us a minute or 2 later about being 5 mins away from the airport and to start saying our goodbyes now knowing that it would not be easy to say goodbye. After Sharene checked herself in and her bags I gave her what she needed and went to the family private bathroom close to where she would be going for her gate. "FUCK!!!!" Sharene screamed out followed by my name "MIA!!!!" which turned me. To the point that I was at the top of my game and did not stop until she was limp in my arms. 25 mins later we were both hot and sweaty and still standing with Sharene wrapped around me. "I'm sorry I'm such a germ-phobic but you have no idea what I've seen in pea-tree dishes in the lab" I said when she had wanted me to put her against the wall or on the floor. "It--It's okay.... please.....I just....can't believe.... just fuck you are getting better and better" she whispered with a gasp of air. I helped her back into her clothes that I had held over my shoulder the entire time. Before leaving the, bathroom I checked the area outside to make sure there was not a crowd. "HA seriously it's not even.... there is not going to be a crowd" Sharene laughed.
