Bailey had followed me to the office that Leona had designated for me that had been just down the hall from the wing of the house she had put me in. He had wanted to make sure I was doing the right thing for me and not just doing it to please my parents or Leona. "I just want to make sure you have really thought about all this... don't get me wrong this place is impressive and gives your parents’ house a run for their money. I work for you and your best interests and to keep you safe. I know you are going through a lot right now and just want to make sure this is what you want" he eyed me from head to toe the best he could from the chair he was sitting in. I was sure that I didn't want to live there anymore and didn't have any other real options. "Yes, I'm sure Bailey... thank you for asking though. You'd think I was a child still and couldn't take care of myself when I've been doing it for years already!" I smiled at him before settling all the papers into my bag to head to the house to meet the new tenants. I decided since I had yet to ride my motorcycle and I was still not clear headed as I hoped to be and my bike had been just collecting dust since it made it to the house and decided to take it out for a spin.
Leona was busy on the phone when I found her on her side of the house and sounded bossy and irritated with whoever was on the other line. "Hold on a second please..." she sighed after realizing I'd been in her area. "Hey sorry umm I am heading out for a bit to talk with my new tenants and give them the extra sets of keys I have. Not sure when I'll be back so don't worry, I'll see you tomorrow sometime if you are sleeping when I get back in" I had not wanted to take up anymore of her time as she was busy on a call and wanted to get out onto my bike as quickly as I could. Leona smiled and thought I was kidding about finding tenants already. "Ha ok see you later wherever you are really going... have a good night since tomorrow we are hitting the mat hard" she looked me over before going back to her call. I headed to the garage on my side of the house and rolled out my bike and started it up. The feeling of the vibration felt so good with the raw power between my legs. Bailey and Lola were in the truck behind me as we took off down the driveway and waited for the gates to automatically open. Once out on the open road I took my time to get used to the difference riding in another country than in the US. It didn't take me long and before I knew it, I was at the house with Logan, Kelly, and Xander waiting with a huge moving truck. I sped up the drive with Bailey behind me along with the moving truck and 2 other cars. My cell rang out the moment I turned off the bike and when I finally looked at it, I saw I had missed 5 calls all from Leona.
My confusion of it had made me question what could have happened from the time I left until now since I wasn't sure what the problem was and when it rang again with her calling, I answered right away after passing the extra keys off to Bailey. "Hello...." she had started screaming at me and about what I could not make out. "Whoa take it down a notch and try again since I did not get a word of what you just said...ha screamed out" I gave a little laugh. She was mad because she didn't realize I had a motorcycle and was serious about already having someone for the house. "Well I am sorry, but I don't answer to anyone and my friends needed a place, so I'd rather have people I know then some strangers” she already knew them all and knew they had clean back grounds since they'd all been questioned about Violina's night out with them. I hung up a few mins later and they already had their things almost into the house. "About time you get off the phone... your money is on the counter..." Logan shrugged as he and Xander carried a few things in together. I went to the kitchen with the papers along with Bailey who had many titles and in it a notary. They had wanted me to stay a bit longer to get in some friends time, but I had a lot on my mind and they were lucky that I had even come to the house at all. “I can feel how happy we are all going to be and this is to the new beginnings…..You, all of us are here at this exact moment for a reason and at the right time in our lives” Kelly was now being all sentimental about the whole thing.
The more I listened to how happy they all wee I wanted nothing but happiness for them all and hoped that this new adventure would give them just that. “You are all going to be so happy here, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I was here. You all also have your own code to get through the gates and unarm the security system. Not to worry that is included in the rent and is monitored by the very best security company in the world. Enjoy your weekend and I’ll see you all in class” I loved that we had all been so easy together since the very beginning. I could not help but stay and go through the house as they all had ideas and wanted to make sure they were able to change things they wanted to change. “Sounds good and as long as you all know that whatever you change now had better be good and tasteful and if I like it when ya’ll decide to move or not….not so much worried about Kelly, but Xander your medieval idea’s lets just make sure these two here are ok with it and if not there is always a space for you and all the medieval stuff. Now I really should get going it’s already later and I hope we can get together for dinner one of these nights soon before all this crazy stuff with the professors start” Xander of course had other ideas as he wanted to show me a few extra things.
By 10pm Kelly, Logan, Xander had signed the lease and I had given the $5,000 to Bailey to lock in the floor safe of the truck. Xander was lucky enough to get my old room which he loved. "I'm just happy to have a real bed and not that shit at the dorms that God only knows what happened on them over the years. Hope you don't mind if I change things and paint over this dull-shit in here" he laughed. "Ha I am sorry but as you know I am really only here to sleep and the style you see was all my mother and Sharene's doing. Have at whatever and make it home, so I'll leave you to get settled. I'm going to head out and go for a drive and maybe stop up at the pub" I smiled walking back to the front of the house. Kelly and Logan were hanging out on the couch and loving the way mine felt. "Again not my doing you can thank my mother... anyways I hope the price for rent is not too much.. I even knocked off a $1000 but if you all decide on another roommate it'll go up. Anyways I'm going to head out for a ride and if you all want to get a drink at the pub just let me know or meet me there in about 1/2 hour or so" I smiled as I headed for the door. I took off on my bike and took some routes I had looked up online and even though it was dark and a little chilly it had been one amazing ride that took a little longer than I had thought. Bailey and Lola stuck with me and once back in city limits, we headed straight for the pub and found not only my friends waiting but Leona at the bar at the far end. I gave her a nod of the head and headed for my friends who were waving me over and already doing shots. "Well, well it’s about time and 30 mins late... you're the one who asked us out, yet we are here drinking and playing a stupid ass game. So, get in here and start playing..." Xander smiled and reached out to pull me close.
