Chapter 12: Is it Inlaid with Diamonds?
Seeing that he not only dispelled Willow's misunderstanding of him but deepened it, Skyview was very upset!
What does one do when they're upset?

How? Through consumption!

"Do the French really eat these things?" Skyview exclaimed in disbelief.
"These are all delicacies," Lily explained, "the price of just one dish is enough for you to eat beef burgers for a month."
"Forget it, let's have some wine. Is this a Lafite '82?" The previous Skyview, being poor, only knew that Lafite '82 was valuable.
Lily shook her head and explained, "There are very few Lafite '82 left, even fewer in our Golden Valley. Out of ten thousand bottles, maybe only one is real. This is a '92 Lafite, equally valuable and with great taste!"
After finishing the wine, Skyview exclaimed, "It's really good!"
When they finished the satisfying meal, Skyview's phone rang.
A familiar ringtone, but a different phone.
Skyview's phone now was a custom-made phone worth tens of thousands.
It looked low-key on the outside, but its platinum shell and sapphire screen, as well as all the functions inside, were the epitome of today's highest technology. It was estimated that it wouldn't be outdated within 10 years.
Seeing the caller ID, Skyview's expression changed.
It was a call from Alice.
Skyview sighed.

Skyview laughed in anger. "I've never seen someone so shameless!"
Alice said, "Fine, I'm a materialistic woman, we've broke up. You're rich now; but you wasted two years of my youth; you should compensate me for the breakup!"
"You want a breakup fee?" Skyview was deeply shocked by Alice's shamelessness, "How much do you want?"
"Not much, just a billion!" Alice boldly demanded, "You're a billionaire now, giving me one billion as a breakup fee is just a small percentage of your wealth. It's not much, right?"
"Get lost!" Skyview was furious.
Alice was just too shameless!
When they were together, Skyview not only handed over almost all of his monthly salary to Alice for her spending, but he even took out small loans online to buy her cosmetics! Skyview hadn't paid off these loans before inheriting five billion!
Skyview believed he had done right by Alice.
Now Alice dared to ask Skyview for a breakup fee, it was beyond shameless!

A person earning ten thousand a month is considered high-income now.

Without eating or drinking, working continuously for six hundred and sixty-six years would earn you a billion!
