Chapter 23: Clearing Misunderstandings
Skyview was really arrogant.
Connor immediately became furious and pointed at Skyview, saying, "Who do you think you are?"
"I am Willow's classmate," Skyview smirked. " Are you trying to pursue Willow?"
"I fell in love with Willow at first sight, so what?" Connor replied.
Skyview waved his hand and said, "It's nothing, I just advise you not to bother Willow anymore!"
“Why?” Connor asked.
Skyview pointed at Willow and said, "Willow is my woman, mine. Do you dare to touch her? Do you have enough money to provide her a good life?"
When Willow heard Skyview say she was his woman, her face blushed involuntarily.
If Skyview had said this in the past, Willow would have already beaten him up.
But now, Willow hoped that Skyview would help her dispel the annoying Connor.
Although Willow disliked Skyview, she disliked Connor even more!
So Willow remained silent, looking as if she admitted to Skyview's words.
This made Skyview very happy.
"Is she your girlfriend?" Connor asked angrily.
"Yes!" Skyview shamelessly said, grabbing Willow's hand as he spoke.
Willow pinched Skyview's palm in embarrassment.
Even though Skyview felt pain, he also felt joy.
Willow's hand was soft and smooth.
It felt really comfortable to touch!
And being close to Willow, smelling the fragrance of a young girl, made Skyview's heart flutter.
"Even if Willow is your girlfriend, so what? The woman I have set my eyes on belongs to me!" Connor said angrily. "Willow will be mine sooner or later!"
Skyview was surprised, "Oh my god, I thought I was the most shameless person in the world, but compared to you, I would be a gentleman! May I ask for your name?"
"Remember, I'm Connor Mitchell!" Connor proudly said, "The CEO of HealthPro Medical Devices Company!"
"You became a CEO at such a young age because of your dad, right?" Skyview teased.
Connor replied calmly, "Yes, I inherited the company, so I'm much better a poor guy like you! Willow will eventually accept my love. This world is realistic, and beauties deserve to be with the rich!"
Skyview felt the irony. In front of this billionaire, someone dared to call him a poor guy.
"Willow, I will get you someday, you will be my woman!" Connor said to Willow. "I can give you much more than this guy can! Three days from now, on your birthday, I will give you a surprise!"
After saying that, Connor hopped in his BMW, stepped on the gas, and drove away.
"Was Connor harassing you?" Skyview watched Connor leave and asked Willow with a smile.
Willow replied, " You saw it, it's happened a lot to me!"
"Not surprising!" Skyview said. "But I can tell you really dislike him!"
"Do you not realize that I dislike you even more?" Willow said.
"Really?" Skyview looked surprised. "Are you sure it's not love?"
"Can you please let go of my hand?" Willow frowned.
Skyview firmly said, "No!"
Willow pinched Skyview's palm fiercely. Willow's nails were quite long, so when she pinched, it really hurt Skyview's palm!
But Skyview gritted his teeth, smiling. "I will never let go of your hand in my lifetime!"
Willow said in embarrassment, "Skyview, what are you trying to do?"
"I'm just afraid you won't want to talk to me and will leave me," Skyview said sincerely.
Willow sighed, "Do you really like me that much?"
"I do!" Skyview said, "My feelings for you are beyond words."
"Skyview, to be honest, I used to have a good impression of you," Willow said.
Skyview looked grateful. "I will never forget that at the class reunion, everyone treated me like a fool except you. From that moment on, I had feelings for you."
"But I like men who are not fickle!" Willow said angrily. "I used to think you were not fickle, but as soon as you had money, you went to places like Alien Club. You really disappointed me!"
Skyview smiled bitterly. "I can explain it to you."
Willow gave Skyview a cold look and said, "You don't need to explain it to me, and there's nothing to explain!"
"I didn't do anything at Alien Club that day, do you believe me?" Skyview said.
"I don't believe you!" Willow said, "A young man goes to a night club and does nothing? Are you trying to fool me?"
"I'm not lying!" Skyview said. "Do you know why I went to Alien Club that day?"
"To have some fun with a stripper, right?" Willow sneered.
"I went for Alice!" Skyview made up a serious story.
Willow was shocked and asked, "You went to Alien Club for Alice? Was Alice there...?"
"You should know, Alice comes from an ordinary family, but she wears all brand-name clothes and has high monthly expenses. I couldn't afford to support her with my salary, right?" Skyview said bitterly.
Thinking that Skyview was also hurt by love, Willow's gaze softened instantly, and she said, "I know Alice spent a lot of money. She abandoned you for money."
Skyview pretended to be in great pain and said, "When Alice was with me before, she spent money extravagantly. I never understood where she got so much money. Later, someone told me that Alice was working as a prostitute at Alien Club! During the two years we were together, she was secretly working as a prostitute! I didn't believe it, so I went to verify it! The truth was a heavy blow to me. Alice was indeed working as a prostitute there!"
Willow remembered seeing Alice's figure that day but didn't think much of it at the time.
"I was played by Alice like a fool. I was heartbroken that day. I was in no mood to have fun at Alien Club," Skyview said with a bitter expression.
"By the way, Do you know that I was kidnapped yesterday?" Skyview tried to earn sympathy from Willow.
"You were kidnapped?!" Willow was shocked.
Skyview said, "It was Alice who begged me for a final farewell, and out of pity, I went. But it turned out to be a trap set by Alice. If not for the exceptional abilities of my subordinates, I might have been killed! I don't understand how a woman can be so heartless!"
