Chapter 7: The Place Every Man Wants to Go
Skyview nodded slightly and got into the car without looking around.
In fact, Skyview was quite surprised to find out that Lakeview Express was actually a subsidiary of the Twin Group.
"Mr. Scott, Mr. Scott!" Jordan shouted hoarsely outside the car, regretting deeply.
Jordan finally realized that Skyview's resume was indeed not fabricated. Ironically, Jordan had thought of extorting Skyview.
In large public companies, board members often assign their own descendants to work at the grassroots level.
This serves to polish their skills and gain experience for better management in the future.
Jordan never expected to see the same case in the Twin Group.
Recalling what had happened in the office just now, Jordan didn't hesitate and slapped himself hard in front of Skyview.
Skyview seemed indifferent.
Seeing this, Jordan slapped himself hard again.
"Mr. Scott, this..." Lily looked at Jordan outside the window and already figured out what had happened in the office.
"Don't mind him, let's go," Skyview said calmly.
"Yes, Mr. Scott, where are we going next?" Lily asked.
Upon hearing this, Skyview pondered for a moment, blushing slightly, and hesitantly said, "Can you take me to a place every man wants to go?"
Upon hearing this, Lily chuckled charmingly.
Although Lily understood what Skyview meant, she didn't ask or say anything and silently drove to the Alien Club in Swallowford City.
This was the most high-end entertainment venue in Swallowford City, equipped with various facilities and unexpected amenities.
The club was a large square building with LED lights all over, looking vibrant and colorful.
There was even a huge alien head sculpture at the front, exuding a sense of technology and futurism.
"This place is exclusive, and since it's your personal time, I will leave you alone," Lily said with a knowing look, then asked, "Do you need me to pick you up later tonight?"
Skyview blushed. "What are you talking about? I'm just here for entertainment."
Lily smiled seductively, stopped teasing Skyview, and reminded him, "When you enter, stay lowkey."
"Got it!" Skyview agreed, his heart pounding, and headed toward the Alien Club.
When he first returned to the country, Skyview worked as a delivery man to pay for Alice's daily expenses. He had never considered visiting such an expensive entertainment venue.
Firstly, he didn't have the money, and secondly, he was already in a relationship and had to remain faithful to his girlfriend!
As he walked through the main entrance, a green light shone on Skyview, and a robot with an alien appearance approached.
"Identity verification," the robot's voice sounded cold.
Skyview took out his bank card from his pocket, and after the green scan, the light disappeared, revealing a black passage on the wall.
"Top notch!" he exclaimed.
Skyview walked along the black passage for about a minute and began to hear the bustling sounds inside the club.
"Hello, please follow me," a handsome waiter suddenly approached Skyview.
It was Skyview's first time in such a place, and he was nervous and cautious.
Following the waiter, Skyview arrived at a private room.
The room was spacious, equipped with a pool table, karaoke room, bedroom, and even an indoor hot spring pool, almost everything one could desire.
As Skyview sat on the couch, before he could fully appreciate the surroundings, there was a crisp knock on the door outside the room.
Subsequently, a row of sexy women entered one after another. Each of them had a top-tier figure and appearance, with smiles on their faces and a number tag around their waist.
Skyview raised his head and scanned each of them with a scrutinizing gaze.
Suddenly, Skyview was taken aback.
How could Alice be here!
Skyview stared straight at number six, Alice, unable to comprehend how she could be working at the club in the afternoon after being at the Twin Group in the morning?
Seeing Alice dressed so provocatively, it was easy to guess the nature of her work.
"Number six, stay; the rest can leave," the astute waiter immediately noticed Skyview's strange gaze toward Alice.
As the others left one by one, only Skyview and Alice remained in the room, creating a tense atmosphere between them.
"Skyview," Alice took a deep breath, approached him, and reached out to hug his arm.
But Skyview moved away slightly and asked, "When did you start working here?"
After hesitating for a moment, Alice bit her lip and replied, "Two years ago."
Afraid that Skyview might misunderstand, she quickly added, "But It's just part-time, I'm different from them!"
"Two years ago!" Skyview chuckled bitterly.
'Two years ago, I became a delivery man for you, never expecting that you had been working part-time at the club since then.'
Alice clenched her lips, knowing that there was no way to comfort Skyview's anger at this point.
But she had no choice; her monthly expenses went over tens of thousands.
After becoming Pancay's girlfriend, she had planned to leave the club and find a regular job. However, after a series of events, Pancay dumped her. To cover her expenses, she had to return to the club, only to unexpectedly encounter Skyview.
"Number six? I worked for so long just to give you a better life, but in the end, you are just a number six? A whore?"
At this moment, a rough roar came from outside the room.
Soon after, someone forcefully smashed the door.
"Do you know who I am? Who dares to steal my woman?" a man yelled.
After saying this, the door was kicked open by that person.
Skyview finally saw the man clearly, tall and fierce-looking, wearing jeans, a white tank top, and a blue tattoo on his shoulder.
Fear flashed in Alice's eyes. "Jack Williams."
"What are you waiting for? Come here!" Jack beckoned to Alice, not even sparing a glance at Skyview throughout.
Jack arrogantly pulled Alice close, ready to leave.
"Wait," Skyview called out.
Jack paused, turned around, glared at Skyview, then took 100 dollars from his pocket and smashed it on Skyview's head, disdainfully saying, "Consider it compensation!"
"Wait! Did I permit you to leave?" Skyview's voice was firm.
"Kid, are you trying to provoke me?" Jack's face darkened.
Skyview smiled undeniably. "If that's what you think, then that's what it is."
