"I heard it was Connor who asked you to hit him!"
"Yeah, it's the first time I've heard such a strange request."
"Connor deserves to be beaten up, he gets no sympathy from me!"
The crowd chimed.
Connor was an old customer of the Blue Moon Bar.
The folks at the Blue Moon Bar knew Connor's character very well. In short, everyone thought he was a complete scoundrel, a total scum and a social outcast!
At the Blue Moon Bar, Connor had accosted countless women. When it came to Connor getting punched, not only did no one sympathize with him, some even felt like laughing.
"How dare you hit me!" Connor stood up, looking at Skyview, anger written all over his face.
"I didn't need a reason to hit you!" Skyview stared at Connor with a condescending look.
Connor threatened, "If you hit me, I'll go to get a medical report for my injuries, and you'll end up in jail!"
Skyview burst into laughter.
Connor paused. "What are you laughing at?"
"The law only applies to those without money!" Skyview sneered. "Haven't you heard that saying? I'm a billionaire. A simple matter like this won't affect me. Do you think it will?"
Connor suddenly realized he might not be able to send Skyview to jail.
After all, as a billionaire, Skyview had stronger social connections than him.
Social connections! He couldn't beat Skyview in that!
Money? He definitely couldn't beat Skyview in that either!
Connor felt a sense of despair.
Skyview smirked.
Suddenly, Connor remembered something and said to Willow, "Willow, alright, we won't make a deal with your company anymore. Not only that, I'll also file a complaint against you at the Twin Group! I'll say it's because of you that I terminated the collaboration with the Twin Group, I'll make sure you lose your job!"
Connor said it with venom. It was the last thing Connor could threaten Skyview and Willow with.
"You don't have the authority for that." Skyview sneered. "You say you won't collaborate with the Twin Group, as if you held so much power. But why should HealthPro Medical Devices Company listen to you?"
"Ridiculous! I'm the general manager of HealthPro Medical Devices Company, and that's my family's company!" Connor retorted coldly.
Skyview pulled out a document.
"What's this?" Connor looked at the document, feeling a sense of fear instinctively.
"Legal proof! Now, I am the legal representative of HealthPro Medical Devices Company and its largest shareholder. You have no shares in HealthPro Medical Devices Company anymore!" Skyview proudly stated, "Now, I am the one in charge of HealthPro Medical Devices Company, you are just one of my subordinates!"
"This can't be true!" Connor exclaimed. "You must be lying to me!"
Although Connor could tell the legal proof was genuine, he was unwilling to believe it. He couldn't believe that his father had just handed over his family business to Skyview.
Even more, he couldn't believe that Skyview was now his boss.
"You don't believe me?" Skyview smiled. "But someone can make you believe, Mr. Garcia, come out!"
As Skyview's voice fell, a middle-aged bald man in a suit walked out of the crowd and stood beside Skyview.
"This is Richard Garcia, the deputy general manager of HealthPro Medical Devices Company, you must know him, right?" Skyview said.
"Richard, you..." Connor looked at Richard helplessly. "Has the family's business really been handed over to Skyview?"
Richard sighed, "Yes, yesterday afternoon, your father sold HealthPro Medical Devices Company. Now, HealthPro Medical Devices Company has nothing to do with your family! Skyview, Mr. Scott, are our bosses now!"
Connor was horrified. "You... you..."
Connor was speechless.
Skyview's incredible tactics had left Connor in shock.
"Now, Willow won't have any trouble doing business with your company. Oh, excuse me, I meant your former company," Skyview said coldly. "Now, Connor, you are fired! You are no longer the general manager of HealthPro Medical Devices Company, and the company's orders will go to Willow! The crowd gossiped eagerly, curious about Skyview's identity.
Skyview's behavior was truly astonishing, and his tactics were impressive.
Willow expressed her gratitude to Skyview. "Thank you, Skyview! You really didn't have to spend tens of millions to buy a company for me! That's just not sensible!"
Willow didn't know that Skyview's acquisition was a hostile takeover and that by seizing Brandon's weakness, he only spent a million to acquire HealthPro Medical Devices Company, which was a very profitable deal.
